5Es sei kund dem Könige, daß wir ins jüdische Land kommen sind zu dem Hause des großen Gottes, welches man bauet mit allerlei Steinen, und Balken leget man in die Wände, und das Werk gehet frisch vonstatten unter ihrer Hand.

5But the eye of their God was upon the elders of the Jews, that they could not cause them to cease, till the matter came to Darius: and then they returned answer by letter concerning this matter.
