17Gefallt es nun dem Konige, so lasse er suchen in dem Schatzhause des Konigs, das zu Babel ist, ob's von dem Konige Kores befohlen sei, das Haus Gottes zu Jerusalem zu bauen, und sende zu uns des Konigs Meinung uber diesem.

17Y ahora, si al rey parece bien, búsquese en la casa de los tesoros del rey que está allí en Babilonia, si es así que por el rey Ciro había sido dado mandamiento para edificar esta casa de Dios en Jerusalem, y envíenos á decir la voluntad del rey sobre esto.

17Now therefore, if it seem good to the king, let there be search made in the king’s treasure house, which is there at Babylon, whether it be so, that a decree was made of Cyrus the king to build this house of God at Jerusalem, and let the king send his pleasure to us concerning this matter.
