1Im ersten Regierungsjahre des Kores, des Königs von Persien – damit das durch den Mund Jeremias ergangene Wort des HERRN in Erfüllung ginge – regte der HERR den Geist des Perserkönigs Kores dazu an, folgende Verfügung in seinem ganzen Reiche ausrufen und auch durch schriftlichen Erlaß bekanntmachen zu lassen:
2»So spricht Kores, der König von Persien: Alle Reiche der Erde hat der HERR, der Gott des Himmels, mir übergeben, und er ist’s auch, der mir aufgetragen hat, ihm zu Jerusalem in Juda ein Haus zu erbauen.
3Wer also unter euch allen zu seinem Volke gehört, mit dem sei sein Gott, und er ziehe hinauf nach Jerusalem in Juda und baue dort das Haus des HERRN, des Gottes Israels; das ist der Gott, der in Jerusalem wohnt.
4Und jeder, der noch übriggeblieben ist, den sollen an allen Orten, wo er sich als Fremdling aufhält, die betreffenden Ortsbewohner mit Silber und Gold, mit beweglicher Habe und Vieh sowie mit freiwilligen Gaben für das Gotteshaus in Jerusalem unterstützen.«
5Da machten sich die Familienhäupter von Juda und Benjamin sowie die Priester und die Leviten auf den Weg, alle, denen Gott es in den Sinn gegeben hatte, hinaufzuziehen, um den Tempel des HERRN in Jerusalem wieder aufzubauen;
6und alle, die um sie her wohnten, unterstützten sie auf jede Weise mit Gaben, mit Silber und Gold, mit beweglicher Habe und Vieh und mit Kostbarkeiten, außerdem mit freiwilligen Gaben aller Art.
7Auch gab der König Kores die Tempelgeräte wieder heraus, die Nebukadnezar einst aus Jerusalem weggeführt und im Tempel seines Gottes untergebracht hatte:
8der König Kores von Persien ließ sie unter der Aufsicht des Schatzmeisters Mithredath hervorholen, und dieser zählte sie Sesbazzar, dem Fürsten von Juda, zu.
9Ihre Zahl war folgende: 30 goldene und 1000 silberne Becken,
1030 goldene Becher, 2410 silberne Becher, 1000 andere Geräte,
11im ganzen 5400 goldene und silberne Geräte. Das alles nahm Sesbazzar mit hinauf, als die in die Verbannung Weggeführten von Babylon nach Jerusalem hinaufgeführt wurden.

1Y EN el primer año de Ciro rey de Persia, para que se cumpliese la palabra de Jehová por boca de Jeremías, excitó Jehová el espíritu de Ciro rey de Persia, el cual hizo pasar pregón por todo su reino, y también por escrito, diciendo:
2Así ha dicho Ciro rey de Persia: Jehová Dios de los cielos me ha dado todos los reinos de la tierra, y me ha mandado que le edifique casa en Jerusalem, que está en Judá.
3¿Quién hay entre vosotros de todo su pueblo? Sea Dios con él, y suba á Jerusalem que está en Judá, y edifique la casa á Jehová Dios de Israel, (él es el Dios,) la cual está en Jerusalem.
4Y á cualquiera que hubiere quedado de todos los lugares donde peregrinare, los hombres de su lugar le ayuden con plata, y oro, y hacienda, y con bestias; con dones voluntarios para la casa de Dios, la cual está en Jerusalem.
5Entonces se levantaron los cabezas de las familias de Judá y de Benjamín, y los sacerdotes y Levitas, todos aquellos cuyo espíritu despertó Dios para subir á edificar la casa de Jehová, la cual está en Jerusalem.
6Y todos los que estaban en sus alrededores confortaron las manos de ellos con vasos de plata y de oro, con hacienda y bestias, y con cosas preciosas, á más de lo que se ofreció voluntariamente.
7Y el rey Ciro sacó los vasos de la casa de Jehová, que Nabucodonosor había traspasado de Jerusalem, y puesto en la casa de sus dioses.
8Sacólos pues Ciro rey de Persia, por mano de Mitrídates tesorero, el cual los dió por cuenta á Sesbassar príncipe de Judá.
9Y esta es la cuenta de ellos: treinta tazones de oro, mil tazones de plata, veinte y nueve cuchillos,
10Treinta tazas de oro, cuatrocientas y diez otras tazas de plata, y mil otros vasos.
11Todos los vasos de oro y de plata, cinco mil y cuatrocientos. Todos los hizo llevar Sesbassar con los que subieron del cautiverio de Babilonia á Jerusalem.

1Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,
2Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
3Who is there among you of all his people? his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the LORD God of Israel, (he is the God,) which is in Jerusalem.
4And whosoever remaineth in any place where he sojourneth, let the men of his place help him with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, beside the freewill offering for the house of God that is in Jerusalem.
5Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem.
6And all they that were about them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and with beasts, and with precious things, beside all that was willingly offered.
7Also Cyrus the king brought forth the vessels of the house of the LORD, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought forth out of Jerusalem, and had put them in the house of his gods;
8Even those did Cyrus king of Persia bring forth by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and numbered them unto Sheshbazzar, the prince of Judah.
9And this is the number of them: thirty chargers of gold, a thousand chargers of silver, nine and twenty knives,
10Thirty basons of gold, silver basons of a second sort four hundred and ten, and other vessels a thousand.
11All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand and four hundred. All these did Sheshbazzar bring up with them of the captivity that were brought up from Babylon unto Jerusalem.
World English Bible
1Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the LORD’s word by Jeremiah’s mouth might be accomplished, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,
2“Cyrus king of Persia says, ‘The LORD, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he has commanded me to build him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
3Whoever there is among you of all his people, may his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the LORD, the God of Israel (he is God), which is in Jerusalem.
4Whoever is left, in any place where he lives, let the men of his place help him with silver, with gold, with goods, and with animals, in addition to the free will offering for God’s house which is in Jerusalem.’”
5Then the heads of fathers’ households of Judah and Benjamin, the priests and the Levites, all whose spirit God had stirred to go up, rose up to build the LORD’s house which is in Jerusalem.
6All those who were around them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, with animals, and with precious things, in addition to all that was willingly offered.
7Also Cyrus the king brought out the vessels of the LORD’s house, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought out of Jerusalem, and had put in the house of his gods;
8even those, Cyrus king of Persia brought out by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and counted them out to Sheshbazzar the prince of Judah.
9This is the number of them: thirty platters of gold, one thousand platters of silver, twenty-nine knives,
10thirty bowls of gold, four hundred ten silver bowls of a second kind, and one thousand other vessels.
11All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand four hundred. Sheshbazzar brought all these up when the captives were brought up from Babylon to Jerusalem.
