1Pendant qu'Esdras, pleurant et prosterné devant la maison de Dieu, faisait cette prière et cette confession, il s'était réuni auprès de lui une assemblée très nombreuse d'Israélites, hommes, femmes et enfants ; car le peuple versait beaucoup de larmes.
