1Das Wort des Herrn erging an mich:
2"Du Menschensohn! Dein Antlitz wende zu den Bergen Israels und prophezeie aber sie
3und sprich: 'Ihr Berge Israels, vernehmt das Wort des Herrn, des Herrn! So spricht der Herr, der Herr, zu diesen Bergen, diesen Hügeln, zu diesen Gründen, diesen Tälern. Ich bringe über euch das Schwert, zerstöre eure Höhen.
4Zertrümmert werden euere Altäre, zerbrochen eure Rauchaltäre; und euere Erschlagenen werf ich vor eure Götzen.
5Die Leichname der Söhne Israels leg ich vor ihre Götzen hin, zerstreue euere Gebeine rings um euere Altäre.
6Soweit sich alle eure Wohnsitze erstrecken, soll'n menschenleer die Städte werden, zerstört die Höhen. Sind dann zertrümmert und verwüstet eure Altäre und eure Götzen ganz zerschlagen und verschwunden und eure Rauchaltäre umgehauen und eure Machwerke vertilgt
7und wenn bei euch Erschlagne liegen bleiben, dann seht ihr ein: Ich bin der Herr.
8Doch lasse ich von euch noch einige, dem Schwert Entronnene, bei jenen Heidenvölkern übrig, wenn ihr zerstreut seid in die Länder.
9Und diese euere Entkommenen gedenken meiner bei den Heiden, zu denen sie gefangen abgeführt, wenn ich zu Boden beuge ihren buhlerischen Sinn, der von mir abgefallen, und ihre buhlerischen, ihren Götzenbildern zugeworf'nen Blicke. Sie werden vor sich selber Abscheu haben ob der vertüten Frevel, ob aller ihrer Greueltaten.
10Dann sehn sie ein: Ich bin der Herr. Nicht leere Worte waren es, wenn ich gedroht, dies Unheil ihnen anzutun.'" So spricht der Herr, der Herr:
11"Schlag in die Hand! Stampf mit dem Fuße auf und sprich: 'Weh über all die argen Greueltaten in dem Hause Israels! Sie sollen dafür fallen durch das Schwert, durch Hunger und durch Pest!
12Wer fern, stirbt an der Pest; wer nahe, fällt durchs Schwert. Wer noch verschont, der stirbt des Hungers. Ich laß an ihnen meinen Ingrimm aus.
13Dann seht ihr ein. Ich bin der Herr, wenn die Erschlagenen bei ihren Götzen rings um die Altäre liegen auf jedem hohen Hügel, jedem Bergesgipfel und unter jedem grünen Baum und unter jeder dichtbelaubten Terebinthe, an jedem Ort, wo süßen Opferduft sie allen ihren Göttern spenden.
14Ich strecke meine Hand aus gegen sie und mache noch verödeter das Land und wüster als Diblas Steppenland, soweit sie wohnen, damit sie wissen: Ich, ich bin der Herr.'"

1Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
2Hijo del hombre, pon tu rostro hacia los montes de Israel, y profetiza contra ellos.
3Y dirás: Montes de Israel, oid palabra del Señor Jehová: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová á los montes y á los collados, á los arroyos y á los valles: He aquí que yo, yo haré venir sobre vosotros cuchillo, y destruiré vuestros altos.
4Y vuestros altares serán asolados, y vuestras imágenes del sol serán quebradas: y haré que caigan vuestros muertos delante de vuestros ídolos.
5Y pondré los cuerpos muertos de los hijos de Israel delante de sus ídolos; y vuestros huesos esparciré en derredor de vuestros altares.
6En todas vuestras habitaciones las ciudades serán desiertas, y los altos serán asolados, para que sean asolados y se hagan desiertos vuestros altares; y quebrados serán vuestros ídolos, y cesarán; y vuestras imágenes del sol serán destruídas, y vuestras obras serán deshechas.
7Y los muertos caerán en medio de vosotros; y sabréis que soy Jehová.
8Mas dejaré que haya de vosotros quien escape del cuchillo entre las gentes, cuando fuereis esparcidos por las tierras.
9Y los que de vosotros escaparen, se acordarán de mí entre las gentes entre las cuales serán cautivos: porque yo me quebranté á causa de su corazón fornicario, que se apartó de mí, y á causa de sus ojos, que fornicaron tras sus ídolos: y se avergonzarán de sí mismos, á causa de los males que hicieron en todas sus abominaciones.
10Y sabrán que yo soy Jehová: no en vano dije que les había de hacer este mal.
11Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Hiere con tu mano, y huella con tu pie, y di: ¡Ay de los males de la casa de Israel por todas las abominaciones! porque con cuchillo, y con hambre, y con pestilencia caerán.
12El que estuviere lejos, morirá de pestilencia; y el que estuviere cerca caerá á cuchillo; y el que quedare, y fuere cercado, morirá de hambre: así cumpliré en ellos mi enojo.
13Y sabréis que yo soy Jehová, cuando sus muertos estarán en medio de sus ídolos, en derredor de sus altares, en todo collado alto, y en todas las cumbres de los montes, y debajo de todo árbol sombrío, y debajo de toda encina espesa, lugares donde dieron olor suave á todos sus ídolos.
14Y extenderé mi mano sobre ellos, y tornaré la tierra asolada y desierta, más que el desierto hacia Diblath, en todas sus habitaciones: y conocerán que yo soy Jehová.

1And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2Son of man, set thy face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them,
3And say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places.
4And your altars shall be desolate, and your images shall be broken: and I will cast down your slain men before your idols.
5And I will lay the dead carcases of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones round about your altars.
6In all your dwellingplaces the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.
7And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
8Yet will I leave a remnant, that ye may have some that shall escape the sword among the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries.
9And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations whither they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their whorish heart, which hath departed from me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols: and they shall lothe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.
10And they shall know that I am the LORD, and that I have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them.
11Thus saith the Lord GOD; Smite with thine hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.
12He that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that remaineth and is besieged shall die by the famine: thus will I accomplish my fury upon them.
13Then shall ye know that I am the LORD, when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, in all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the place where they did offer sweet savour to all their idols.
14So will I stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea, more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblath, in all their habitations: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
World English Bible
1The LORD’s word came to me, saying,
2“Son of man, set your face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy to them,
3and say, ‘You mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD! The Lord GOD says to the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys: “Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword on you, and I will destroy your high places.
4Your altars will become desolate, and your incense altars will be broken. I will cast down your slain men before your idols.
5I will lay the dead bodies of the children of Israel before their idols. I will scatter your bones around your altars.
6In all your dwelling places, the cities will be laid waste and the high places will be desolate, so that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your incense altars may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.
7The slain will fall among you, and you will know that I am the LORD.
8“‘“Yet I will leave a remnant, in that you will have some that escape the sword among the nations, when you are scattered through the countries.
9Those of you that escape will remember me among the nations where they are carried captive, how I have been broken with their lewd heart, which has departed from me, and with their eyes, which play the prostitute after their idols. Then they will loathe themselves in their own sight for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.
10They will know that I am the LORD. I have not said in vain that I would do this evil to them.”’
11“The Lord GOD says: ‘Strike with your hand, and stamp with your foot, and say, “Alas!”, because of all the evil abominations of the house of Israel; for they will fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.
12He who is far off will die of the pestilence. He who is near will fall by the sword. He who remains and is besieged will die by the famine. Thus I will accomplish my wrath on them.
13You will know that I am the LORD when their slain men are among their idols around their altars, on every high hill, on all the tops of the mountains, under every green tree, and under every thick oak—the places where they offered pleasant aroma to all their idols.
14I will stretch out my hand on them and make the land desolate and waste, from the wilderness toward Diblah, throughout all their habitations. Then they will know that I am the LORD.’”
