1Et toi, fils de l'homme, prends une brique, et tu la placeras devant toi, et tu dessineras sur cette brique la ville de Jérusalem.
2Et tu y représenteras un siège, et tu bâtiras des ouvrages contre elle, et tu l'entoureras de palissades, et tu établiras des camps devant elle, et tu dresseras des balistes autour de son enceinte.
3Prends ensuite pour toi-même une poêle de fer ; puis tu en feras un mur de fer, que tu placeras entre toi et la ville ; et tu tourneras ton visage contre la ville, et elle sera assiégée, et tu l'assiégeras ; or ceci est un signe pour les enfants d'Israël.
4Et tu te coucheras sur le côté gauche, et tu mettras sur ce côté les iniquités de la maison d'Israël, au nombre de cent cinquante, égal à celui des jours où tu te seras couché sur ce côté, et tu porteras leurs iniquités.
5Et je t'ai chargé de leurs iniquités pour un nombre de cent quatre-vingt- dix jours, et tu porteras les iniquités de la maison d'Israël.
6Et tu accompliras ce que j'ai dit d'abord ; puis tu te coucheras sur le côté droit, et tu prendras les iniquités de la maison d'Israël, quarante jours ; je te donne un jour pour une année.
7Et tu tourneras le visage vers le siège de Jérusalem, et tu fortifieras ton bras, et tu prophétiseras contre elle.
8Et voilà que je t'ai préparé des chaînes, et tu ne changeras pas de côté que les jours où tu dois être enchaîné ne soient accomplis.
9Prends encore pour toi du froment, de l'orge, des fèves, des lentilles, du millet, de l'épeautre, et jette le tout dans un pot de terre ; tu en feras ensuite des pains, pour autant de jours que tu dois dormir sur le côté, et tu en mangeras pendant cent quatre-vingt-dix jours.
10Et tu pèseras tes aliments, et tu en mangeras vingt-six sicles par jour, et tu les mangeras par intervalles.
11Et tu boiras de l'eau à la mesure ; tu boiras par intervalle, le sixième du hin.
12Et tu les mangeras comme des galettes d'orge, cuites sous la cendre, et tu les feras cuire sous la cendre d'un feu de mottes d'excréments humains aux yeux de tous.
13Et tu diras : Ainsi parle le Seigneur Dieu d'Israël. Ainsi les fils d'Israël mangeront des choses impures parmi les nations.
14Et je dis : Que cela ne soit pas, Seigneur Dieu d'Israël ; car jamais mon âme n'a été souillée de choses impures : depuis ma naissance jusqu'à ce jour, je n'ai point mangé de corps morts ni de bêtes déchirées par des bêtes, et jamais chair corrompue n'est entrée dans ma bouche.
15Et le Seigneur me dit : Voilà que je t'accorde des mottes de bouse de vache au lieu de mottes d'excréments humains, et tu prépareras tes pains sur ces mottes.
16Et il me dit : Fils de l'homme, voilà que je vais briser dans Jérusalem le soutien du pain, et ils le mangeront au poids, dans leur besoin, et ils boiront de l'eau à la mesure, dans leur défaillance.
17C'est au point qu'ils manqueront de pain et d'eau, et le frère tombera mort dans les bras de son frère, et ils se consumeront dans leurs iniquités.

1Y TÚ, hijo del hombre, tómate un adobe, y ponlo delante de tí, y diseña sobre él la ciudad de Jerusalem:
2Y pondrás contra ella cerco, y edificarás contra ella fortaleza, y sacarás contra ella baluarte, y asentarás delante de ella campo, y pondrás contra ella arietes alrededor.
3Tómate también una plancha de hierro, y ponla en lugar de muro de hierro entre ti y la ciudad: afirmarás luego tu rostro contra ella, y será en lugar de cerco, y la sitiarás. Es señal á la casa de Israel.
4Y tú dormirás sobre tu lado izquierdo, y pondrás sobre él la maldad de la casa de Israel: el número de los días que dormirás sobre él, llevarás sobre ti la maldad de ellos.
5Yo te he dado los años de su maldad por el número de los días, trescientos y noventa días: y llevarás la maldad de la casa de Israel.
6Y cumplidos estos, dormirás sobre tu lado derecho segunda vez, y llevarás la maldad de la casa de Judá cuarenta días: día por año, día por año te lo he dado.
7Y al cerco de Jerusalem afirmarás tu rostro, y descubierto tu brazo, profetizarás contra ella.
8Y he aquí he puesto sobre ti cuerdas, y no te tornarás del un tu lado al otro lado, hasta que hayas cumplido los días de tu cerco.
9Y tú toma para ti trigo, y cebada, y habas, y lentejas, y mijo, y avena, y ponlo en una vasija, y hazte pan de ello el número de los días que durmieres sobre tu lado: trescientos y noventa días comerás de él.
10Y la comida que has de comer será por peso de veinte siclos al día: de tiempo á tiempo lo comerás.
11Y beberás el agua por medida, la sexta parte de un hin: de tiempo á tiempo beberás.
12Y comerás pan de cebada cocido debajo de la ceniza; y lo cocerás á vista de ellos con los estiércoles que salen del hombre.
13Y dijo Jehová: Así comerán los hijos de Israel su pan inmundo, entre las gentes á donde los lanzaré yo.
14Y dije: ¡Ah Señor Jehová! he aquí que mi alma no es inmunda, ni nunca desde mi mocedad hasta este tiempo comí cosa mortecina ni despedazada, ni nunca en mi boca entró carne inmunda.
15Y respondióme: He aquí te doy estiércoles de bueyes en lugar de los estiércoles de hombre, y dispondrás tu pan con ellos.
16Díjome luego: Hijo del hombre, he aquí quebrantaré el sostén del pan en Jerusalem, y comerán el pan por peso, y con angustia; y beberán el agua por medida, y con espanto.
17Porque les faltará el pan y el agua, y se espantarán los unos con los otros, y se consumirán por su maldad.

1Thou also, son of man, take thee a tile, and lay it before thee, and pourtray upon it the city, even Jerusalem:
2And lay siege against it, and build a fort against it, and cast a mount against it; set the camp also against it, and set battering rams against it round about.
3Moreover take thou unto thee an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between thee and the city: and set thy face against it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.
4Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity.
5For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.
6And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year.
7Therefore thou shalt set thy face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and thine arm shall be uncovered, and thou shalt prophesy against it.
8And, behold, I will lay bands upon thee, and thou shalt not turn thee from one side to another, till thou hast ended the days of thy siege.
9Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof, according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat thereof.
10And thy meat which thou shalt eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shalt thou eat it.
11Thou shalt drink also water by measure, the sixth part of an hin: from time to time shalt thou drink.
12And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of man, in their sight.
13And the LORD said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, whither I will drive them.
14Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.
15Then he said unto me, Lo, I have given thee cow’s dung for man’s dung, and thou shalt prepare thy bread therewith.
16Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight, and with care; and they shall drink water by measure, and with astonishment:
17That they may want bread and water, and be astonied one with another, and consume away for their iniquity.
World English Bible
1“You also, son of man, take a tile, and lay it before yourself, and portray on it a city, even Jerusalem.
2Lay siege against it, build forts against it, and cast up a mound against it. Also set camps against it and plant battering rams against it all around.
3Take for yourself an iron pan and set it for a wall of iron between you and the city. Then set your face toward it. It will be besieged, and you shall lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.
4“Moreover lie on your left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel on it. According to the number of the days that you shall lie on it, you shall bear their iniquity.
5For I have appointed the years of their iniquity to be to you a number of days, even three hundred ninety days. So you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.
6“Again, when you have accomplished these, you shall lie on your right side, and shall bear the iniquity of the house of Judah. I have appointed forty days, each day for a year, to you.
7You shall set your face toward the siege of Jerusalem, with your arm uncovered; and you shall prophesy against it.
8Behold, I put ropes on you, and you shall not turn yourself from one side to the other, until you have accomplished the days of your siege.
9“Take for yourself also wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet, and spelt, and put them in one vessel. Make bread of it. According to the number of the days that you will lie on your side, even three hundred ninety days, you shall eat of it.
10Your food which you shall eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day. From time to time you shall eat it.
11You shall drink water by measure, the sixth part of a hin. From time to time you shall drink.
12You shall eat it as barley cakes, and you shall bake it in their sight with dung that comes out of man.”
13The LORD said, “Even thus will the children of Israel eat their bread unclean, among the nations where I will drive them.”
14Then I said, “Ah Lord GOD! Behold, my soul has not been polluted; for from my youth up even until now I have not eaten of that which dies of itself, or is torn of animals. No abominable meat has come into my mouth!”
15Then he said to me, “Behold, I have given you cow’s dung for man’s dung, and you shall prepare your bread on it.”
16Moreover he said to me, “Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem. They will eat bread by weight, and with fearfulness. They will drink water by measure, and in dismay;
17that they may lack bread and water, be dismayed one with another, and pine away in their iniquity.
