4Continuamos andando em direção leste, e ele mediu mais quinhentos metros. Mandou-me atravessar o riacho mais uma vez, e a água já chegava aos meus joelhos. Depois de mais quinhentos metros, o riacho já era um rio cujas águas chegavam até a minha cintura.
