8Nunca mais construirão templos a seus ídolos bem ao lado da minha casa, como fizeram no passado. Eles mancharam a pureza do meu nome com a sua horrível adoração de imagens; foi por isso que eu castiguei o meu povo, com toda a minha ira.

8Y poniendo ellos su umbral junto á mi umbral, y su poste junto á mi poste, y no más que pared entre mí y ellos, contaminaron mi santo nombre con sus abominaciones que hicieron: consumílos por tanto en mi furor.

8In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my posts, and the wall between me and them, they have even defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger.

8in their setting of their threshold by my threshold and their door post beside my door post. There was a wall between me and them; and they have defiled my holy name by their abominations which they have committed. Therefore I have consumed them in my anger.
