1Alors il m'emmena au parvis extérieur par le chemin du nord, et me conduisit aux chambres qui étaient vis-à-vis de l'aire fermée et vis-à-vis de l'édifice, au nord,
2là où à la porte du nord il y avait une longueur de cent coudées, et une largeur de cinquante coudées,
3vis-à-vis des vingt du parvis intérieur, et vis-à-vis du pavé du parvis extérieur, où les appartements étaient contigus en trois étages.
4Or, devant les chambres, il y avait une allée de dix coudées de largeur, et une voie d'une coudée menait à l'intérieur, et leurs portes donnaient au nord.
5Et les chambres supérieures étaient plus étroites (car les appartements latéraux leur enlevaient de la place) que les inférieures et celles du milieu de l'édifice.
6Car elles avaient bien trois étages, mais elles n'avaient point de colonnes, comme les colonnes des parvis ; aussi elles auraient occupé sur le sol un espace moins grand que celles du bas et du milieu.
7Et le mur qui régnait extérieurement le long des chambres, du côté du parvis extérieur au devant des chambres, avait cinquante coudées de longueur,
8car la longueur de ces chambres tournées vers le parvis extérieur était de cinquante coudées, mais du côté du temple, elle était de cent coudées.
9Et au-dessous de ces chambres était l'entrée de l'orient, quand on y venait du parvis extérieur.
10Dans la largeur du mur du parvis du côté de l'orient, devant l'aire fermée, et au front de l'édifice, il y avait aussi des chambres.
11Et devant elles il y avait une allée. Elles étaient semblables aux chambres qui donnaient au nord ; c'était la même longueur, la même largeur ; et toutes leurs issues, et leur disposition et leurs portes étaient semblables.
12Telles étaient aussi les portes des chambres situées au midi ; il y avait une porte à l'entrée de l'allée, une allée en face du mur construit du côté de l'orient, par où on y entrait.
13Et il me dit : « Les chambres du nord, les chambres du midi, qui sont devant l'aire fermée, sont des loges saintes où les prêtres mangeront les choses très saintes, quand ils s'approcheront de l'Éternel ; là ils déposeront les choses très saintes, savoir les offrandes et les victimes pour le péché et pour le délit, car le lieu est saint.
14Quand les prêtres entreront, ils ne devront pas passer du sanctuaire dans le parvis extérieur, mais déposer là les vêtements avec lesquels ils feront le service, car ils sont saints ; ils devront revêtir d'autres habits et ainsi s'approcher de ce qui est du peuple.
15Après avoir terminé la mesure de la maison intérieure, il m'emmena par le chemin de la porte qui donne à l'orient, et mesura le pourtour de la maison.
16Il mesura le côté oriental avec la perche, il y avait cinq cents perches à l'entour.
17Il mesura à la perche le côté du nord, il y avait cinq cents perches à l'entour.
18Il mesura aussi le côté du midi, il y avait cinq cents perches.
19Il se tourna du côté de l'occident, et mesura à la perche cinq cents perches.
20Il mesura la maison aux quatre vents ; elle était entourée d'un mur long de cinq cents, et large de cinq cents, pour séparer le sacré du profane.

1SACÓME luego al atrio de afuera hacia el norte, y llevóme á la cámara que estaba delante del espacio que quedaba enfrente del edificio de hacia el norte.
2Por delante de la puerta del norte su longitud era de cien codos, y la anchura de cincuenta codos.
3Frente á los veinte codos que había en el atrio de adentro, y enfrente del solado que había en al atrio exterior, estaban las cámaras, las unas enfrente de las otras en tres pisos.
4Y delante de las cámaras había un corredor de diez codos de ancho á la parte de adentro, con viaje de un codo; y sus puertas hacia el norte.
5Y las cámaras más altas eran más estrechas; porque las galerías quitaban de ellas más que de las bajas y de las de en medio del edificio:
6Porque estaban en tres pisos, y no tenían columnas como las columnas de los atrios: por tanto, eran más estrechas que las de abajo y las del medio desde el suelo.
7Y el muro que estaba afuera enfrente de las cámaras, hacia el atrio exterior delante de las cámaras, tenía cincuenta codos de largo.
8Porque la longitud de las cámaras del atrio de afuera era de cincuenta codos: y delante de la fachada del templo había cien codos.
9Y debajo de las cámaras estaba la entrada al lado oriental, para entrar en él desde el atrio de afuera.
10A lo largo del muro del atrio hacia el oriente, enfrente de la lonja, y delante del edificio, había cámaras.
11Y el corredor que había delante de ellas era semejante al de las cámaras que estaban hacia el norte, conforme á su longitud, asimismo su anchura, y todas sus salidas; conforme á sus puertas, y conforme á sus entradas.
12Y conforme á las puertas de las cámaras que estaban hacia el mediodía, tenía una puerta al principio del camino, del camino delante del muro hacia el oriente á los que entran.
13Y díjome: Las cámaras del norte y las del mediodía, que están delante de la lonja, son cámaras santas, en las cuales los sacerdotes que se acercan á Jehová comerán las santas ofrendas: allí pondrán las ofrendas santas, y el presente, y la expiación, y el sacrificio por el pecado: porque el lugar es santo.
14Cuando los sacerdotes entraren, no saldrán del lugar santo al atrio de afuera, sino que allí dejarán sus vestimentas con que ministrarán, porque son santas; y vestiránse otros vestidos, y así se allegarán á lo que es del pueblo.
15Y luego que acabó las medidas de la casa de adentro, sacóme por el camino de la puerta que miraba hacia el oriente, y midiólo todo alrededor.
16Midió el lado oriental con la caña de medir, quinientas cañas de la caña de medir en derredor.
17Midió al lado del norte, quinientas cañas de la caña de medir alrededor.
18Midió al lado del mediodía, quinientas cañas de la caña de medir.
19Rodeó al lado del occidente, y midió quinientas cañas de la caña de medir.
20A los cuatro lados lo midió; tuvo el muro todo alrededor quinientas cañas de longitud, y quinientas cañas de anchura, para hacer separación entre el santuario y el lugar profano.

1Then he brought me forth into the utter court, the way toward the north: and he brought me into the chamber that was over against the separate place, and which was before the building toward the north.
2Before the length of an hundred cubits was the north door, and the breadth was fifty cubits.
3Over against the twenty cubits which were for the inner court, and over against the pavement which was for the utter court, was gallery against gallery in three stories.
4And before the chambers was a walk of ten cubits breadth inward, a way of one cubit; and their doors toward the north.
5Now the upper chambers were shorter: for the galleries were higher than these, than the lower, and than the middlemost of the building.
6For they were in three stories, but had not pillars as the pillars of the courts: therefore the building was straitened more than the lowest and the middlemost from the ground.
7And the wall that was without over against the chambers, toward the utter court on the forepart of the chambers, the length thereof was fifty cubits.
8For the length of the chambers that were in the utter court was fifty cubits: and, lo, before the temple were an hundred cubits.
9And from under these chambers was the entry on the east side, as one goeth into them from the utter court.
10The chambers were in the thickness of the wall of the court toward the east, over against the separate place, and over against the building.
11And the way before them was like the appearance of the chambers which were toward the north, as long as they, and as broad as they: and all their goings out were both according to their fashions, and according to their doors.
12And according to the doors of the chambers that were toward the south was a door in the head of the way, even the way directly before the wall toward the east, as one entereth into them.
13Then said he unto me, The north chambers and the south chambers, which are before the separate place, they be holy chambers, where the priests that approach unto the LORD shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; for the place is holy.
14When the priests enter therein, then shall they not go out of the holy place into the utter court, but there they shall lay their garments wherein they minister; for they are holy; and shall put on other garments, and shall approach to those things which are for the people.
15Now when he had made an end of measuring the inner house, he brought me forth toward the gate whose prospect is toward the east, and measured it round about.
16He measured the east side with the measuring reed, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about.
17He measured the north side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about.
18He measured the south side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed.
19He turned about to the west side, and measured five hundred reeds with the measuring reed.
20He measured it by the four sides: it had a wall round about, five hundred reeds long, and five hundred broad, to make a separation between the sanctuary and the profane place.
World English Bible
1Then he brought me out into the outer court, the way toward the north. Then he brought me into the room that was opposite the separate place, and which was opposite the building toward the north.
2Facing the length of one hundred cubits was the north door, and the width was fifty cubits.
3Opposite the twenty cubits which belonged to the inner court, and opposite the pavement which belonged to the outer court, was gallery against gallery in the three stories.
4Before the rooms was a walk of ten cubits’ width inward, a way of one cubit; and their doors were toward the north.
5Now the upper rooms were shorter; for the galleries took away from these more than from the lower and the middle in the building.
6For they were in three stories, and they didn’t have pillars as the pillars of the courts. Therefore the uppermost was set back more than the lowest and the middle from the ground.
7The wall that was outside by the side of the rooms, toward the outer court before the rooms, was fifty cubits long.
8For the length of the rooms that were in the outer court was fifty cubits. Behold, those facing the temple were one hundred cubits.
9From under these rooms was the entry on the east side, as one goes into them from the outer court.
10In the thickness of the wall of the court toward the east, before the separate place, and before the building, there were rooms.
11The way before them was like the appearance of the rooms which were toward the north. Their length and width were the same. All their exits had the same arrangement and doors.
12Like the doors of the rooms that were toward the south was a door at the head of the way, even the way directly before the wall toward the east, as one enters into them.
13Then he said to me, “The north rooms and the south rooms, which are opposite the separate place, are the holy rooms, where the priests who are near to the LORD shall eat the most holy things. There they shall lay the most holy things, with the meal offering, the sin offering, and the trespass offering; for the place is holy.
14When the priests enter in, then they shall not go out of the holy place into the outer court until they lay their garments in which they minister there; for they are holy. Then they shall put on other garments, and shall approach that which is for the people.”
15Now when he had finished measuring the inner house, he brought me out by the way of the gate which faces toward the east, and measured it all around.
16He measured on the east side with the measuring reed five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed all around.
17He measured on the north side five hundred reeds with the measuring reed all around.
18He measured on the south side five hundred reeds with the measuring reed.
19He turned about to the west side, and measured five hundred reeds with the measuring reed.
20He measured it on the four sides. It had a wall around it, the length five hundred cubits, and the width five hundred cubits, to make a separation between that which was holy and that which was common.
