1So weissage nun, Menschensohn, wider Gog und sprich: So spricht Gott, der HERR: Siehe, ich will an dich, Gog, Fürst von Rosch, Mesech und Tubal!
2Und ich will dich herumlenken und dich gängeln und dich heraufführen vom äußersten Norden und dich auf die Berge Israels bringen.
3Ich will dir den Bogen aus deiner linken Hand schlagen und die Pfeile aus deiner rechten Hand fallen lassen.
4Auf den Bergen Israels sollst du fallen, samt allen deinen Truppen und allem Volk, das bei dir ist; daselbst will ich dich den Raubvögeln, allem, was Flügel hat, und den wilden Tieren des Feldes zur Speise geben.
5Du sollst auf dem weiten Felde fallen! Ich habe es gesagt, spricht Gott, der HERR.
6Ich will Feuer legen an Magog und an die, welche auf den Inseln sicher wohnen, damit sie erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin.
7Und meinen heiligen Namen will ich unter meinem Volke Israel kundtun und meinen heiligen Namen hinfort nicht mehr entweihen lassen; sondern die Heiden sollen erfahren, daß ich, der HERR, der Heilige in Israel bin!
8Siehe, es kommt und es wird geschehen, spricht Gott, der HERR! Das ist der Tag, von welchem ich geredet habe.
9Die Bewohner der Städte Israels werden herauskommen und ein Feuer anzünden und die Waffen, Schilde und Tartschen, Bogen und Pfeile, Keulen und Speere verbrennen und werden sieben Jahre lang damit heizen.
10Man wird kein Holz mehr vom Felde holen und keines in den Wäldern hauen; sondern man wird die Waffen als Brennstoff benützen. Sie werden die berauben, welche sie beraubt haben, und diejenigen plündern, welche sie geplündert haben, spricht Gott, der HERR.
11Und zu jener Zeit will ich für Gog einen Ort zum Begräbnis in Israel anweisen, nämlich das Tal Abarim östlich vom Toten Meer, und es wird den Wanderern den Weg versperren. Daselbst wird man Gog und all sein Volk begraben und wird es das «Tal der Haufen Gogs» nennen.
12Das Haus Israel wird an ihnen sieben Monate lang zu begraben haben, um das Land zu reinigen.
13Und zwar wird das ganze Volk des Landes an ihnen zu begraben haben, und das wird ihnen zum Ruhm gereichen. Es ist der Tag, an welchem ich mich verherrlichen werde, spricht Gott, der HERR.
14Und man wird Männer bestellen, welche beständig das Land durchziehen, um zur Reinigung desselben die auf der Erdoberfläche liegengebliebenen Toten zum Begräbnis nach dem Abarimtal zu bringen; sieben Monate lang werden sie Nachforschung halten.
15Und wenn sie auf ihrer Reise durchs Land ein Menschengebein sehen, so werden sie dabei ein Mal errichten, bis die Totengräber es im «Tal der Haufen Gogs» begraben haben.
16Daselbst wird auch eine Stadt «Hamona» sein. Also werden sie das Land reinigen.
17Du aber, Menschensohn, so spricht Gott, der HERR: Sage zu den Vögeln aller Gattungen und zu allen wilden Tieren: Versammelt euch und kommt! Sammelt euch von allen Seiten zu meinem Schlachtopfer, das ich euch geschlachtet habe! Es ist ein großes Schlachtopfer auf den Bergen Israels; esset Fleisch und trinket Blut!
18Das Fleisch der Helden sollt ihr essen und das Blut der Fürsten der Erde trinken: Widder, Lämmer, Böcke und Ochsen, welche alle zu Basan gemästet worden sind.
19Esset das Fett, bis ihr satt werdet, und trinket das Blut, bis ihr trunken werdet von meinen Schlachtopfern, die ich euch geschlachtet habe!
20Sättiget euch an meinem Tische von Pferden und Reitern, von Helden und allen Kriegsleuten! spricht Gott, der HERR.
21Und ich will meine Herrlichkeit unter den Heiden erweisen, daß alle Heiden mein Gericht sehen sollen, das ich gehalten, und meine Hand, welche ich an sie gelegt habe.
22Und das Haus Israel soll erkennen, daß ich, der HERR, ihr Gott bin, von diesem Tage an und hinfort.
23Und die Heiden sollen erkennen, daß das Haus Israel wegen seiner Missetat in Gefangenschaft geraten ist, weil sie sich gegen mich vergangen haben, so daß ich mein Angesicht vor ihnen verbarg und sie in die Hand ihrer Feinde gab, so daß sie alle mit dem Schwert erschlagen wurden.
24Gemäß ihren Unreinigkeiten und Übertretungen habe ich an ihnen getan und habe mein Angesicht vor ihnen verborgen.
25Darum spricht Gott, der HERR, also: Jetzt will ich die Gefangenschaft Jakobs wenden und mich des ganzen Hauses Israel erbarmen und für meinen heiligen Namen eifern.
26Und sie sollen aller ihrer Schmach und ihrer Vergehen, womit sie sich wider mich vergangen haben, vergessen, wenn sie sicher und ungestört in ihrem Lande wohnen,
27wenn ich sie aus den Völkern zurückgebracht und aus den Ländern ihrer Feinde gesammelt und mich an ihnen vor den Augen dieser Heiden als heilig erwiesen habe.
28Daran sollen sie erkennen, daß ich, der HERR, ihr Gott bin, weil ich sie unter die Heiden in die Gefangenschaft führen ließ und sie nun wieder in ihr Land versammle und keinen von ihnen mehr dort zurücklasse.
29Und ich will fortan mein Angesicht nicht mehr vor ihnen verbergen, weil ich meinen Geist über das Haus Israel ausgegossen habe, spricht Gott, der HERR.

1TÚ pues, hijo del hombre, profetiza contra Gog, y di: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí yo contra ti, oh Gog, príncipe de la cabecera de Mesech y Tubal:
2Y te quebrantaré, y te sextaré, y te haré subir de las partes del norte, y te traeré sobre los montes de Israel;
3Y sacaré tu arco de tu mano izquierda, y derribaré tus saetas de tu mano derecha.
4Sobre los montes de Israel caerás tú, y todas tus compañías, y los pueblos que fueron contigo: á toda ave y á toda cosa que vuela, y á las bestias del campo, te he dado por comida.
5Sobre la haz del campo caerás: porque yo he hablado, dice el Señor Jehová.
6Y enviaré fuego sobre Magog, y sobre los que moran seguramente en las islas; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.
7Y haré notorio mi santo nombre en medio de mi pueblo Israel, y nunca más dejaré amancillar mi santo nombre; y sabrán las gentes que yo soy Jehová, el Santo en Israel.
8He aquí, vino y fué, dice el Señor Jehová: este es el día del cual he hablado.
9Y los moradores de las ciudades de Israel saldrán, y encenderán y quemarán armas, y escudos, y paveses, arcos y saetas, y bastones de mano, y lanzas: y las quemarán en fuego por siete años.
10Y no traerán leña del campo, ni cortarán de los bosques, sino que quemarán las armas en el fuego: y despojarán á sus despojadores, y robarán á los que los robaron, dice el Señor Jehová.
11Y será en aquel tiempo, que yo daré á Gog lugar para sepultura allí en Israel, el valle de los que pasan al oriente de la mar, y obstruirá el paso á los transeuntes, pues allí enterrarán á Gog y á toda su multitud: y lo llamarán, El valle de Hamón-gog.
12Y la casa de Israel los estará enterrando por siete meses, para limpiar la tierra:
13Enterrarlos ha todo el pueblo de la tierra: y será para ellos célebre el día que yo fuere glorificado, dice el Señor Jehová.
14Y tomarán hombres de jornal, los cuales vayan por el país con los que viajaren, para enterrar á los que quedaron sobre la haz de la tierra, á fin de limpiarla: al cabo de siete meses harán el reconocimiento.
15Y pasarán los que irán por el país, y el que viere los huesos de algún hombre, edificará junto á ellos un mojón, hasta que los entierren los sepultureros en el valle de Hamón-gog.
16Y también el nombre de la ciudad será Hamonah: y limpiarán la tierra.
17Y tú, hijo del hombre, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Di á las aves, á todo volátil, y á toda bestia del campo: Juntaos, y venid; reuníos de todas partes á mi víctima que os sacrifico, un sacrificio grande sobre los montes de Israel, y comeréis carne y beberéis sangre.
18Comeréis carne de fuertes, y beberéis sangre de príncipes de la tierra; de carneros, de corderos, de machos de cabrío, de bueyes, de toros, engordados todos en Basán.
19Y comeréis gordura hasta hartaros, y beberéis hasta embriagaros sangre, de mi sacrificio que yo os sacrifiqué.
20Y os hartaréis sobre mi mesa, de caballos, y de caballeros fuertes, y de todos hombres de guerra, dice el Señor Jehová.
21Y pondré mi gloria entre las gentes, y todas las gentes verán mi juicio que habré hecho, y mi mano que sobre ellos puse.
22Y de aquel día en adelante sabrá la casa de Israel que yo soy Jehová su Dios.
23Y sabrán las gentes que la casa de Israel fué llevada cautiva por su pecado; por cuanto se rebelaron contra mí, y yo escondí de ellos mi rostro, y entreguélos en mano de sus enemigos, y cayeron todos á cuchillo.
24Conforme á su inmundicia y conforme á sus rebeliones hice con ellos: y de ellos escondí mi rostro.
25Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Ahora volveré la cautividad de Jacob, y tendré misericordia de toda la casa de Israel, y celaré por mi santo nombre.
26Y ellos sentirán su vergüenza, y toda su rebelión con que prevaricaron contra mí, cuando habitaren en su tierra seguramente, y no habrá quien los espante;
27Cuando los volveré de los pueblos, y los juntaré de las tierras de sus enemigos, y fuere santificado en ellos en ojos de muchas gentes.
28Y sabrán que yo soy Jehová su Dios, cuando después de haberlos hecho pasar á las gentes, los juntaré sobre su tierra, sin dejar más allá ninguno de ellos.
29Ni esconderé más de ellos mi rostro; porque habré derramado de mi espíritu sobre la casa de Israel, dice el Señor Jehová.

1Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
2And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:
3And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.
4Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.
5Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
6And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
7So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
8Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this is the day whereof I have spoken.
9And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:
10So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD.
11And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of Hamon-gog.
12And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land.
13Yea, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord GOD.
14And they shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through the land to bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search.
15And the passengers that pass through the land, when any seeth a man’s bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamon-gog.
16And also the name of the city shall be Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land.
17And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.
18Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan.
19And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.
20Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD.
21And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.
22So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward.
23And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.
24According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them.
25Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;
26After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.
27When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;
28Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.
29Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.

1“You, son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Behold, I am against you, Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal.
2I will turn you around, will lead you on, and will cause you to come up from the uttermost parts of the north; and I will bring you onto the mountains of Israel.
3I will strike your bow out of your left hand, and will cause your arrows to fall out of your right hand.
4You will fall on the mountains of Israel, you, and all your hordes, and the peoples who are with you. I will give you to the ravenous birds of every sort and to the animals of the field to be devoured.
5You will fall on the open field, for I have spoken it,” says the Lord GOD.
6“I will send a fire on Magog and on those who dwell securely in the islands. Then they will know that I am the LORD.
7“‘“I will make my holy name known among my people Israel. I won’t allow my holy name to be profaned any more. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
8Behold, it comes, and it will be done,” says the Lord GOD. “This is the day about which I have spoken.
9“‘“Those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out and will make fires of the weapons and burn them, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the war clubs and the spears, and they will make fires with them for seven years;
10so that they will take no wood out of the field, and not cut down any out of the forests; for they will make fires with the weapons. They will plunder those who plundered them, and rob those who robbed them,” says the Lord GOD.
11“‘“It will happen in that day, that I will give to Gog a place for burial in Israel, the valley of those who pass through on the east of the sea; and it will stop those who pass through. They will bury Gog and all his multitude there, and they will call it ‘The valley of Hamon Gog’.
12“‘“The house of Israel will be burying them for seven months, that they may cleanse the land.
13Yes, all the people of the land will bury them; and they will become famous in the day that I will be glorified,” says the Lord GOD.
14“‘“They will set apart men of continual employment who will pass through the land. Those who pass through will go with those who bury those who remain on the surface of the land, to cleanse it. After the end of seven months they will search.
15Those who search through the land will pass through; and when anyone sees a man’s bone, then he will set up a sign by it, until the undertakers have buried it in the valley of Hamon Gog.
16Hamonah will also be the name of a city. Thus they will cleanse the land.”’
17“You, son of man, the Lord GOD says: ‘Speak to the birds of every sort, and to every animal of the field, “Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice on the mountains of Israel, that you may eat meat and drink blood.
18You shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bulls, all of them fatlings of Bashan.
19You shall eat fat until you are full, and drink blood until you are drunk, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.
20You shall be filled at my table with horses and charioteers, with mighty men, and with all men of war,” says the Lord GOD.’
21“I will set my glory among the nations. Then all the nations will see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid on them.
22So the house of Israel will know that I am the LORD their God, from that day and forward.
23The nations will know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity, because they trespassed against me, and I hid my face from them; so I gave them into the hand of their adversaries, and they all fell by the sword.
24I did to them according to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions. I hid my face from them.
25“Therefore the Lord GOD says: ‘Now I will reverse the captivity of Jacob and have mercy on the whole house of Israel. I will be jealous for my holy name.
26They will forget their shame and all their trespasses by which they have trespassed against me, when they dwell securely in their land. No one will make them afraid
27when I have brought them back from the peoples, gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and am shown holy among them in the sight of many nations.
28They will know that I am the LORD their God, in that I caused them to go into captivity among the nations, and have gathered them to their own land. Then I will leave none of them captive any more.
29I won’t hide my face from them any more, for I have poured out my Spirit on the house of Israel,’ says the Lord GOD.”
