1"Du, Menschensohn! Weissage gegen Gog und sprich. So spricht der Herr, der Herr: 'Fürwahr, ich will an dich, du Gog, Großfürst von Mesech und von Tubal.
2Dich leite ich und bring dich aus dem hohen Norden und führe dich auf das Gebirge Israels.
3Da schlag ich deinen Bogen dir aus der Linken und lasse deine Pfeile deiner rechten Hand entsinken.
4Auf Israels Gebirge sollst du fallen, du und all deine Scharen, die Völker um dich her. Raubvögeln, allen möglichen, den wilden Tieren gebe ich zum Fraß dich hin.
5Auf freiem Felde bleibst du liegen; ich sage es.' Ein Spruch des Herrn, des Herrn.
6'Ein Feuer sende ich auf Magog nieder und auch auf die, die auf den Inseln friedlich wohnen, daß sie erfahren, daß ich der Herr.
7Ich mache meinen heiligen Namen kund inmitten meines Volkes Israel. Ich laß nicht länger meinen heiligen Namen mehr entweihen. Die Heidenwelt soll innewerden, daß ich, der Herr, ein Heiliger in Israel.
8Fürwahr, es kommt; so gut ist's, wie geschehen.' Ein Spruch des Herrn, des Herrn. 'Das ist der Tag, von dem ich sprach.
9Dann kommen aus den Städten Israels Bewohner und zünden Feuer an. Mit Rüstungen und Schilden zünden sie es an, mit Tartschen, Bogen, Pfeilen, Keulen, Spießen und unterhalten sieben Jahre lang ein Feuer.
10Vom Felde holen sie kein Holz und fällen keines in den Wäldern. Sie unterhalten nur mit diesen Rüstungen das Feuer, berauben die, die sie beraubt, und plündern die, die sie geplündert.' Ein Spruch des Herrn, des Herrn.
11'Ich gebe Gog dort einen Ort an jenem Tag zum Grab in Israel, das Tal der Wanderer ostwärts vom Meere, und jenes sperrt den Wanderern den Weg. Daselbst begräbt man Gog und seine ganze Schar und heißt es "Tal der Scharen Gogs".
12An ihnen hat Israels Haus wohl an die sieben Monde zu begraben, um so das Land zu reinigen.
13Das ganze Volk des Landes muß begraben helfen. Zum Ruhm dient ihm der Tag, an dem ich mich verherrliche.' Ein Spruch des Herrn, des Herrn.
14'Und eigne Männer wählt man aus, die in dem Lande Nachschau halten, zu diesen, die nachsehen, ob noch im Lande jemand übrig sei, die andern zu begraben, um es so zu reinigen. Nach sieben Monden sollen sie mit Nachforschen beginnen.
15Wenn diese Nachschauhaltenden das Land durchmustern, und sie sehn ein menschliches Gebein, alsdann errichten sie ein Zeichen neben ihm, bis es die Totengräber in dem Tal der Scharen Gogs begraben können.
16Auch heißt davon Hamona eine Stadt; so reinigt man das Land.'
17Du aber, Menschensohn", so spricht der Herr, der Herr: "Ruf jetzt den Vögeln und allen den Beflügelten und allem Wild des Feldes: 'Versammelt euch und kommt herbei! Versammelt euch von allen Seiten zu meinem Opfermahl, das ich für euch geschlachtet, ein großes Schlachtfest auf den Bergen Israels!' Da sollt ihr Fleisch zum Fressen und Blut zum Trinken haben.
18Ja, Fleisch von Kriegern sollt ihr fressen und Blut von Erdenfürsten trinken, von Widdern, Lämmern, Böcken, Farren, Mastvieh von Basan insgesamt.
19Fett sollt ihr essen bis zur Sättigung und Blut bis zur Berauschung trinken von meinem Opfer, das ich euch geschlachtet.
20Ihr sollt an meinem Tisch euch sättigen an Rossen und an Zugtieren, an Streitern und allerlei Kriegsleuten." Ein Spruch des Herrn, des Herrn.
21"Da mache ich den Heiden sichtbar meine Herrlichkeit, und alle Heiden schauen die Gerechtigkeit, von mir geübt, und fühlen meine Hand, die ich auf sie gelegt.
22Das Haus von Israel wird alsdann inne, daß ich, der Herr, ihr Schutzgott bin von diesem Tage an und fernerhin.
23Auch überzeugen sich die Heiden, daß nur um seiner Sünde willen das Haus Israel in die Verbannung zog, daß ich vor ihnen barg mein Angesicht, sie preisgab ihren Feinden, daß sie durchs Schwert hinstürzten allzumal.
24So, wie ihr unrein Wesen, ihre Missetaten es verdienten, tat ich ihnen und barg mein Angesicht vor ihnen."
25So spricht deshalb der Herr, der Herr: "Ich bringe Jakobs weggeführtes Volk zurück, erbarme mich des ganzen Hauses Israel und eifre so für meinen heiligen Namen.
26Alsdann verlernen sie ihr schändliches Benehmen und alle ihre Untreue, die sie an mir verübt, wenn sie in ihrem Lande sorglos wohnen, von niemand aufgeschreckt.
27Wenn ich sie erst zurückgebracht aus jenen Völkern und sie gesammelt aus den Ländern ihrer Feinde, dann will ich mich an ihnen auch erweisen als Heiliger vor vieler Heiden Augen.
28Und sie erkennen dann, daß ich der Herr, ihr Gott, daß ich sie zu den Heiden in die Verbannung führte und sie in ihre Heimat wieder sammelte, wobei ich keinen dort zurückgelassen.
29Mein Antlitz berge ich nicht mehr vor ihnen; ich gieße meinen Geist auf das Haus Israel." Ein Spruch des Herrn, des Herrn.

1TÚ pues, hijo del hombre, profetiza contra Gog, y di: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí yo contra ti, oh Gog, príncipe de la cabecera de Mesech y Tubal:
2Y te quebrantaré, y te sextaré, y te haré subir de las partes del norte, y te traeré sobre los montes de Israel;
3Y sacaré tu arco de tu mano izquierda, y derribaré tus saetas de tu mano derecha.
4Sobre los montes de Israel caerás tú, y todas tus compañías, y los pueblos que fueron contigo: á toda ave y á toda cosa que vuela, y á las bestias del campo, te he dado por comida.
5Sobre la haz del campo caerás: porque yo he hablado, dice el Señor Jehová.
6Y enviaré fuego sobre Magog, y sobre los que moran seguramente en las islas; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.
7Y haré notorio mi santo nombre en medio de mi pueblo Israel, y nunca más dejaré amancillar mi santo nombre; y sabrán las gentes que yo soy Jehová, el Santo en Israel.
8He aquí, vino y fué, dice el Señor Jehová: este es el día del cual he hablado.
9Y los moradores de las ciudades de Israel saldrán, y encenderán y quemarán armas, y escudos, y paveses, arcos y saetas, y bastones de mano, y lanzas: y las quemarán en fuego por siete años.
10Y no traerán leña del campo, ni cortarán de los bosques, sino que quemarán las armas en el fuego: y despojarán á sus despojadores, y robarán á los que los robaron, dice el Señor Jehová.
11Y será en aquel tiempo, que yo daré á Gog lugar para sepultura allí en Israel, el valle de los que pasan al oriente de la mar, y obstruirá el paso á los transeuntes, pues allí enterrarán á Gog y á toda su multitud: y lo llamarán, El valle de Hamón-gog.
12Y la casa de Israel los estará enterrando por siete meses, para limpiar la tierra:
13Enterrarlos ha todo el pueblo de la tierra: y será para ellos célebre el día que yo fuere glorificado, dice el Señor Jehová.
14Y tomarán hombres de jornal, los cuales vayan por el país con los que viajaren, para enterrar á los que quedaron sobre la haz de la tierra, á fin de limpiarla: al cabo de siete meses harán el reconocimiento.
15Y pasarán los que irán por el país, y el que viere los huesos de algún hombre, edificará junto á ellos un mojón, hasta que los entierren los sepultureros en el valle de Hamón-gog.
16Y también el nombre de la ciudad será Hamonah: y limpiarán la tierra.
17Y tú, hijo del hombre, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Di á las aves, á todo volátil, y á toda bestia del campo: Juntaos, y venid; reuníos de todas partes á mi víctima que os sacrifico, un sacrificio grande sobre los montes de Israel, y comeréis carne y beberéis sangre.
18Comeréis carne de fuertes, y beberéis sangre de príncipes de la tierra; de carneros, de corderos, de machos de cabrío, de bueyes, de toros, engordados todos en Basán.
19Y comeréis gordura hasta hartaros, y beberéis hasta embriagaros sangre, de mi sacrificio que yo os sacrifiqué.
20Y os hartaréis sobre mi mesa, de caballos, y de caballeros fuertes, y de todos hombres de guerra, dice el Señor Jehová.
21Y pondré mi gloria entre las gentes, y todas las gentes verán mi juicio que habré hecho, y mi mano que sobre ellos puse.
22Y de aquel día en adelante sabrá la casa de Israel que yo soy Jehová su Dios.
23Y sabrán las gentes que la casa de Israel fué llevada cautiva por su pecado; por cuanto se rebelaron contra mí, y yo escondí de ellos mi rostro, y entreguélos en mano de sus enemigos, y cayeron todos á cuchillo.
24Conforme á su inmundicia y conforme á sus rebeliones hice con ellos: y de ellos escondí mi rostro.
25Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Ahora volveré la cautividad de Jacob, y tendré misericordia de toda la casa de Israel, y celaré por mi santo nombre.
26Y ellos sentirán su vergüenza, y toda su rebelión con que prevaricaron contra mí, cuando habitaren en su tierra seguramente, y no habrá quien los espante;
27Cuando los volveré de los pueblos, y los juntaré de las tierras de sus enemigos, y fuere santificado en ellos en ojos de muchas gentes.
28Y sabrán que yo soy Jehová su Dios, cuando después de haberlos hecho pasar á las gentes, los juntaré sobre su tierra, sin dejar más allá ninguno de ellos.
29Ni esconderé más de ellos mi rostro; porque habré derramado de mi espíritu sobre la casa de Israel, dice el Señor Jehová.

1Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
2And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:
3And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.
4Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.
5Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
6And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
7So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
8Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this is the day whereof I have spoken.
9And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:
10So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD.
11And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of Hamon-gog.
12And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land.
13Yea, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord GOD.
14And they shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through the land to bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search.
15And the passengers that pass through the land, when any seeth a man’s bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamon-gog.
16And also the name of the city shall be Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land.
17And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.
18Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan.
19And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.
20Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD.
21And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.
22So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward.
23And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.
24According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them.
25Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;
26After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.
27When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;
28Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.
29Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.

1“You, son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Behold, I am against you, Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal.
2I will turn you around, will lead you on, and will cause you to come up from the uttermost parts of the north; and I will bring you onto the mountains of Israel.
3I will strike your bow out of your left hand, and will cause your arrows to fall out of your right hand.
4You will fall on the mountains of Israel, you, and all your hordes, and the peoples who are with you. I will give you to the ravenous birds of every sort and to the animals of the field to be devoured.
5You will fall on the open field, for I have spoken it,” says the Lord GOD.
6“I will send a fire on Magog and on those who dwell securely in the islands. Then they will know that I am the LORD.
7“‘“I will make my holy name known among my people Israel. I won’t allow my holy name to be profaned any more. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
8Behold, it comes, and it will be done,” says the Lord GOD. “This is the day about which I have spoken.
9“‘“Those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out and will make fires of the weapons and burn them, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the war clubs and the spears, and they will make fires with them for seven years;
10so that they will take no wood out of the field, and not cut down any out of the forests; for they will make fires with the weapons. They will plunder those who plundered them, and rob those who robbed them,” says the Lord GOD.
11“‘“It will happen in that day, that I will give to Gog a place for burial in Israel, the valley of those who pass through on the east of the sea; and it will stop those who pass through. They will bury Gog and all his multitude there, and they will call it ‘The valley of Hamon Gog’.
12“‘“The house of Israel will be burying them for seven months, that they may cleanse the land.
13Yes, all the people of the land will bury them; and they will become famous in the day that I will be glorified,” says the Lord GOD.
14“‘“They will set apart men of continual employment who will pass through the land. Those who pass through will go with those who bury those who remain on the surface of the land, to cleanse it. After the end of seven months they will search.
15Those who search through the land will pass through; and when anyone sees a man’s bone, then he will set up a sign by it, until the undertakers have buried it in the valley of Hamon Gog.
16Hamonah will also be the name of a city. Thus they will cleanse the land.”’
17“You, son of man, the Lord GOD says: ‘Speak to the birds of every sort, and to every animal of the field, “Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice on the mountains of Israel, that you may eat meat and drink blood.
18You shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bulls, all of them fatlings of Bashan.
19You shall eat fat until you are full, and drink blood until you are drunk, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.
20You shall be filled at my table with horses and charioteers, with mighty men, and with all men of war,” says the Lord GOD.’

24I did to them according to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions. I hid my face from them.
25“Therefore the Lord GOD says: ‘Now I will reverse the captivity of Jacob and have mercy on the whole house of Israel. I will be jealous for my holy name.
26They will forget their shame and all their trespasses by which they have trespassed against me, when they dwell securely in their land. No one will make them afraid
27when I have brought them back from the peoples, gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and am shown holy among them in the sight of many nations.
28They will know that I am the LORD their God, in that I caused them to go into captivity among the nations, and have gathered them to their own land. Then I will leave none of them captive any more.
29I won’t hide my face from them any more, for I have poured out my Spirit on the house of Israel,’ says the Lord GOD.”
