Ezequiel 39

1Et toi, fils d'homme, prophétise sur Gog et dis : Ainsi parle le Seigneur l'Eternel : Je vais me tourner vers toi, ô Gog, prince souverain de Mésec et de Tubal ;
2je t'emmènerai, te promènerai et te ferai monter des confins du septentrion et te ferai arriver sur les montagnes d'Israël.
3Puis j'abattrai ton arc de ta main gauche et je ferai tomber tes flèches de ta main droite.
4Tu tomberas sur les montagnes d'Israël, toi et tous tes bataillons et les peuples qui seront avec toi. Je t'ai donné en pâture aux oiseaux de proie, aux oiseaux de toute sorte et aux animaux des champs.
5Tu tomberas sur la face des champs, car j'ai parlé, dit le Seigneur l'Eternel.
6Et j'enverrai le feu en Magog et chez ceux qui habitent en sécurité dans les îles, et ils sauront que je suis l'Eternel.
7Et je ferai connaître mon saint nom au milieu de mon peuple d'Israël, et je ne profanerai plus mon saint nom, et les nations sauront que je suis l'Eternel, saint en Israël.
8Cela va venir et cela sera, dit le Seigneur l'Eternel ; c'est là le jour dont j'ai parlé.
9Alors les habitants des villes d'Israël sortiront pour brûler et mettre en flammes armes, écus et boucliers, arcs et flèches, bâtons et javelots ; ils en feront du feu pendant sept ans ;
10on n'apportera point de bois de la campagne et l'on n'en coupera point dans les forêts, car c'est avec les armes qu'on fera du feu, et ils dépouilleront ceux qui les dépouillaient, et pilleront ceux qui les pillaient, dit le Seigneur l'Eternel.
11Et en ce jour-là je donnerai à Gog un lieu de sépulture en Israël, la vallée des Passants, à l'orient de la mer, et cela bouchera le chemin aux passants. On y enterrera Gog et toute sa multitude et on l'appellera vallée d'Hamon-Gog, de la multitude de Gog.
12La maison d'Israël les enterrera pour purifier le pays sept mois durant.
13Et tout le peuple du pays enterrera, et ce sera pour eux un jour glorieux que celui où j'aurai fait éclater ma gloire, dit le Seigneur l'Eternel.
14Et ils désigneront des hommes d'office qui passeront par le pays pour enterrer les passants qui seront encore sur la face du pays, afin de le purifier ; après les sept mois ils feront leurs recherches.
15Et quand les passants passeront par le pays, si l'un d'eux voit des ossements humains, il dressera à côté un signal jusqu'à ce que les enterreurs les aient portés en terre à la vallée d'Hamon-Gog.
16Et Hamona, multitude, sera même le nom d'une ville. Et ainsi on purifiera le pays.
17Et toi, fils d'homme, ainsi parle le Seigneur l'Eternel : Dis aux oiseaux de toute sorte et à tous les animaux des champs : Assemblez-vous et venez ! Réunissez-vous de toute part sur le sacrifice que je fais pour vous, un grand sacrifice sur les montagnes d'Israël : vous mangerez de la chair et boirez du sang.
18C'est de la chair de héros que vous mangerez, c'est du sang de princes de la terre que vous boirez, béliers, agneaux et boucs, rien que bœufs gras de Basan.
19Vous mangerez de la graisse à satiété, vous boirez du sang jusqu'à l'ivresse, à ce sacrifice que j'aurai fait pour vous,
20et vous vous rassasierez à ma table de coursiers et de chevaux de trait, de héros et de guerriers de toute sorte, dit le Seigneur l'Eternel.
21Et je manifesterai ma gloire dans les nations, et toutes les nations verront mon jugement que j'aurai exécuté et ma main droite que j'aurai étendue sur eux.
22Et la maison d'Israël saura que je suis l'Eternel son Dieu dès ce jour et à l'avenir ;
23et les nations sauront que c'est à cause de leur iniquité que ceux de la maison d'Israël ont été menés en exil, parce qu'ils m'ont été infidèles ; ainsi je leur ai caché ma face, je les ai livrés à leurs ennemis et ils sont tous tombés sous les coups de l'épée.
24C'est en raison de leur souillure et de leur défection que je les ai traités de la sorte et leur ai caché ma face.
25C'est pourquoi, ainsi parle le Seigneur l'Eternel : Maintenant je ramènerai les captifs de Jacob, j'aurai compassion de toute la maison d'Israël et je me montrerai jaloux de mon saint nom.
26Ils auront porté leur ignominie et toutes les infidélités dont ils se sont rendus coupables envers moi, quand ils habiteront sur leur propre sol en sécurité ; sans qu'il y ait personne pour les inquiéter.
27Quand je les ramènerai d'entre les peuples et que je les rassemblerai des pays de leurs ennemis, et que je me serai sanctifié en eux aux yeux de nombreuses nations,
28ils sauront que je suis l'Eternel leur Dieu, en ce que je les aurai exilés chez les nations, puis rassemblés sur leur propre sol. Et je n'en laisserai aucun en arrière ;
29et je ne leur cacherai plus ma face, parce que j'aurai répandu mon Esprit sur la maison d'Israël, dit le Seigneur l'Eternel.

1TÚ pues, hijo del hombre, profetiza contra Gog, y di: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí yo contra ti, oh Gog, príncipe de la cabecera de Mesech y Tubal:
2Y te quebrantaré, y te sextaré, y te haré subir de las partes del norte, y te traeré sobre los montes de Israel;
3Y sacaré tu arco de tu mano izquierda, y derribaré tus saetas de tu mano derecha.
4Sobre los montes de Israel caerás tú, y todas tus compañías, y los pueblos que fueron contigo: á toda ave y á toda cosa que vuela, y á las bestias del campo, te he dado por comida.
5Sobre la haz del campo caerás: porque yo he hablado, dice el Señor Jehová.
6Y enviaré fuego sobre Magog, y sobre los que moran seguramente en las islas; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.
7Y haré notorio mi santo nombre en medio de mi pueblo Israel, y nunca más dejaré amancillar mi santo nombre; y sabrán las gentes que yo soy Jehová, el Santo en Israel.
8He aquí, vino y fué, dice el Señor Jehová: este es el día del cual he hablado.
9Y los moradores de las ciudades de Israel saldrán, y encenderán y quemarán armas, y escudos, y paveses, arcos y saetas, y bastones de mano, y lanzas: y las quemarán en fuego por siete años.
10Y no traerán leña del campo, ni cortarán de los bosques, sino que quemarán las armas en el fuego: y despojarán á sus despojadores, y robarán á los que los robaron, dice el Señor Jehová.
11Y será en aquel tiempo, que yo daré á Gog lugar para sepultura allí en Israel, el valle de los que pasan al oriente de la mar, y obstruirá el paso á los transeuntes, pues allí enterrarán á Gog y á toda su multitud: y lo llamarán, El valle de Hamón-gog.
12Y la casa de Israel los estará enterrando por siete meses, para limpiar la tierra:
13Enterrarlos ha todo el pueblo de la tierra: y será para ellos célebre el día que yo fuere glorificado, dice el Señor Jehová.
14Y tomarán hombres de jornal, los cuales vayan por el país con los que viajaren, para enterrar á los que quedaron sobre la haz de la tierra, á fin de limpiarla: al cabo de siete meses harán el reconocimiento.
15Y pasarán los que irán por el país, y el que viere los huesos de algún hombre, edificará junto á ellos un mojón, hasta que los entierren los sepultureros en el valle de Hamón-gog.
16Y también el nombre de la ciudad será Hamonah: y limpiarán la tierra.
17Y tú, hijo del hombre, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Di á las aves, á todo volátil, y á toda bestia del campo: Juntaos, y venid; reuníos de todas partes á mi víctima que os sacrifico, un sacrificio grande sobre los montes de Israel, y comeréis carne y beberéis sangre.
18Comeréis carne de fuertes, y beberéis sangre de príncipes de la tierra; de carneros, de corderos, de machos de cabrío, de bueyes, de toros, engordados todos en Basán.
19Y comeréis gordura hasta hartaros, y beberéis hasta embriagaros sangre, de mi sacrificio que yo os sacrifiqué.
20Y os hartaréis sobre mi mesa, de caballos, y de caballeros fuertes, y de todos hombres de guerra, dice el Señor Jehová.
21Y pondré mi gloria entre las gentes, y todas las gentes verán mi juicio que habré hecho, y mi mano que sobre ellos puse.
22Y de aquel día en adelante sabrá la casa de Israel que yo soy Jehová su Dios.
23Y sabrán las gentes que la casa de Israel fué llevada cautiva por su pecado; por cuanto se rebelaron contra mí, y yo escondí de ellos mi rostro, y entreguélos en mano de sus enemigos, y cayeron todos á cuchillo.
24Conforme á su inmundicia y conforme á sus rebeliones hice con ellos: y de ellos escondí mi rostro.
25Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Ahora volveré la cautividad de Jacob, y tendré misericordia de toda la casa de Israel, y celaré por mi santo nombre.
26Y ellos sentirán su vergüenza, y toda su rebelión con que prevaricaron contra mí, cuando habitaren en su tierra seguramente, y no habrá quien los espante;
27Cuando los volveré de los pueblos, y los juntaré de las tierras de sus enemigos, y fuere santificado en ellos en ojos de muchas gentes.
28Y sabrán que yo soy Jehová su Dios, cuando después de haberlos hecho pasar á las gentes, los juntaré sobre su tierra, sin dejar más allá ninguno de ellos.
29Ni esconderé más de ellos mi rostro; porque habré derramado de mi espíritu sobre la casa de Israel, dice el Señor Jehová.

1Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
2And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:
3And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.
4Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.
5Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
6And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
7So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
8Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this is the day whereof I have spoken.
9And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:
10So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD.
11And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of Hamon-gog.
12And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land.
13Yea, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord GOD.
14And they shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through the land to bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search.
15And the passengers that pass through the land, when any seeth a man’s bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamon-gog.
16And also the name of the city shall be Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land.
17And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.
18Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan.
19And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.
20Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD.
21And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.
22So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward.
23And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.
24According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them.
25Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;
26After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.
27When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;
28Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.
29Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.

1“You, son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Behold, I am against you, Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal.
2I will turn you around, will lead you on, and will cause you to come up from the uttermost parts of the north; and I will bring you onto the mountains of Israel.
3I will strike your bow out of your left hand, and will cause your arrows to fall out of your right hand.
4You will fall on the mountains of Israel, you, and all your hordes, and the peoples who are with you. I will give you to the ravenous birds of every sort and to the animals of the field to be devoured.
5You will fall on the open field, for I have spoken it,” says the Lord GOD.
6“I will send a fire on Magog and on those who dwell securely in the islands. Then they will know that I am the LORD.
7“‘“I will make my holy name known among my people Israel. I won’t allow my holy name to be profaned any more. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
8Behold, it comes, and it will be done,” says the Lord GOD. “This is the day about which I have spoken.
9“‘“Those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out and will make fires of the weapons and burn them, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the war clubs and the spears, and they will make fires with them for seven years;

12“‘“The house of Israel will be burying them for seven months, that they may cleanse the land.
13Yes, all the people of the land will bury them; and they will become famous in the day that I will be glorified,” says the Lord GOD.
14“‘“They will set apart men of continual employment who will pass through the land. Those who pass through will go with those who bury those who remain on the surface of the land, to cleanse it. After the end of seven months they will search.
15Those who search through the land will pass through; and when anyone sees a man’s bone, then he will set up a sign by it, until the undertakers have buried it in the valley of Hamon Gog.
16Hamonah will also be the name of a city. Thus they will cleanse the land.”’
17“You, son of man, the Lord GOD says: ‘Speak to the birds of every sort, and to every animal of the field, “Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice on the mountains of Israel, that you may eat meat and drink blood.
18You shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bulls, all of them fatlings of Bashan.
19You shall eat fat until you are full, and drink blood until you are drunk, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.

24I did to them according to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions. I hid my face from them.
25“Therefore the Lord GOD says: ‘Now I will reverse the captivity of Jacob and have mercy on the whole house of Israel. I will be jealous for my holy name.
26They will forget their shame and all their trespasses by which they have trespassed against me, when they dwell securely in their land. No one will make them afraid
27when I have brought them back from the peoples, gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and am shown holy among them in the sight of many nations.
28They will know that I am the LORD their God, in that I caused them to go into captivity among the nations, and have gathered them to their own land. Then I will leave none of them captive any more.
29I won’t hide my face from them any more, for I have poured out my Spirit on the house of Israel,’ says the Lord GOD.”
