1Du aber, Menschensohn, weissage über die Berge Israels und sprich: Ihr Berge Israels, höret das Wort des HERRN!
2So spricht Gott, der HERR: Weil der Feind über euch gesprochen hat: «Ha, die ewigen Höhen sind unser Erbe geworden!»
3so weissage nun und sprich: So spricht Gott, der HERR: Darum, ja, darum, weil man euch verwüstet und von allen Seiten nach euch geschnappt hat, so daß ihr den übrigen Völkern zum Erbteil geworden seid, und weil ihr ins Gerede der Zungen gekommen und zum Gespött geworden seid,
4darum, o ihr Berge Israels, höret das Wort Gottes, des HERRN! So spricht Gott, der HERR, zu den Bergen und Hügeln, zu den Gründen und Tälern, zu den öden Trümmern und verlassenen Städten, welche den umwohnenden übrigen Nationen zum Raub und zum Gespött geworden sind:
5Ja, darum spricht Gott, der HERR: Fürwahr, in meinem feurigen Eifer rede ich wider die übrigen Völker und wider ganz Edom, welche sich mein Land zum Besitztum gegeben und die sich von ganzem Herzen und mit übermütiger Verachtung gefreut haben, sie auszustoßen und zu berauben.
6Darum weissage über das Land Israel und sprich zu den Bergen und Hügeln, zu den Gründen und Tälern: So spricht Gott, der HERR: Seht, in meinem Eifer und in meinem grimmigen Zorn rede ich, weil ihr die Schmach der Heiden erlitten habt!
7Darum spricht Gott, der HERR, also: Ich hebe meine Hand auf und schwöre, daß die Nationen, welche um euch her liegen, ihre eigene Schmach tragen sollen!
8Ihr aber, Berge Israels, laßt euer Laub sprossen und traget eure Frucht für mein Volk Israel; denn bald sollen sie heimkehren!
9Denn seht, ich komme zu euch und wende mich wieder zu euch, daß ihr angebaut und besät werdet!
10Ich will viele Menschen auf euch wohnen lassen, das ganze Haus Israel, sie alle; die Städte sollen bewohnt und die Trümmer aufgebaut werden.
11Ich will Menschen und Vieh bei euch zahlreich machen, und sie werden sich mehren und fruchtbar sein; ich will euch bevölkern wie ehedem und euch mehr Gutes erweisen als je zuvor, und ihr sollt erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin!
12Und ich will Menschen auf euch wandeln lassen, nämlich mein Volk Israel; die sollen dich besitzen, und du sollst ihr Erbteil sein und sie nicht mehr der Kinder berauben!
13So spricht Gott, der HERR: Weil sie zu euch sagen: «Du warst eine Menschenfresserin und hast dein Volk der Kinder beraubt»,
14so sollst du hinfort keine Menschen mehr fressen und dein Volk nicht mehr der Kinder berauben, spricht Gott, der HERR.
15Ich will dich hinfort nicht mehr die Schmähungen der Heiden hören lassen, und den Hohn der Nationen sollst du nicht mehr tragen und dein Volk nicht mehr kinderlos machen, spricht Gott, der HERR.
16Und das Wort des HERRN erging an mich also:
17Menschensohn, als das Haus Israel in seinem Lande wohnte und sie dasselbe mit ihren Wegen und Taten verunreinigten, so daß ihr Wandel vor mir war wie die Unreinigkeit eines Weibes in ihrer Krankheit,
18da schüttete ich meinen Zorn über sie aus wegen des Blutes, das sie im Lande vergossen, und weil sie es durch ihre Götzen verunreinigt hatten.
19Ich zerstreute sie unter die Heiden, und sie wurden in die Länder versprengt; ich richtete sie nach ihren Wegen und nach ihren Taten.
20Als sie nun unter die Heiden kamen, wohin sie gezogen waren, entheiligten sie meinen heiligen Namen, so daß man von ihnen sagte: «Das ist das Volk des HERRN; die mußten aus seinem Lande ausziehen!»
21Aber mich reute mein heiliger Name, welchen das Haus Israel entheiligt hat unter den Heiden, zu denen es gekommen ist!
22Darum sage zu dem Hause Israel: So spricht Gott, der HERR: Nicht um euretwillen tue ich solches, Haus Israel, sondern wegen meines heiligen Namens, welchen ihr entheiligt habt unter den Heiden, zu welchen ihr gekommen seid.
23Darum will ich meinen großen Namen wieder heilig machen, der vor den Heiden entheiligt worden ist, welchen ihr unter ihnen entheiligt habt! Und die Heiden sollen erkennen, daß ich der HERR bin, spricht Gott, der HERR, wenn ich mich vor ihren Augen an euch heilig erweisen werde.
24Denn ich will euch aus den Nationen herausholen und aus allen Ländern sammeln und euch wieder in euer Land bringen.
25Ich will reines Wasser über euch sprengen, daß ihr rein werdet; von aller eurer Unreinigkeit und von allen euren Götzen will ich euch reinigen.
26Und ich will euch ein neues Herz geben und einen neuen Geist in euch legen; ich will das steinerne Herz aus eurem Fleisch wegnehmen und euch ein fleischernes Herz geben;
27ich will meinen Geist in euch geben und will solche Leute aus euch machen, die in meinen Satzungen wandeln und meine Rechte beobachten und tun.
28Und ihr sollt in dem Lande wohnen, das ich euren Vätern gegeben habe, und ihr sollt mein Volk sein, und ich will euer Gott sein.
29Und ich will euch von allen euren Unreinigkeiten befreien, und ich will dem Korn rufen und desselben viel machen und euch keine Hungersnot mehr schicken.
30Ich will auch die Früchte der Bäume und den Ertrag des Feldes vermehren, daß ihr hinfort die Schmach des Hungers unter den Heiden nicht mehr tragen müßt.
31Alsdann werdet ihr an eure bösen Wege gedenken und an eure Taten, welche nicht gut waren, und werdet vor euch selbst Abscheu empfinden wegen eurer Sünden und wegen eurer Greuel.
32Nicht euretwegen werde ich solches tun, spricht Gott, der HERR, das sei euch kund! Schämt euch und errötet über euren Wandel, Haus Israel!
33So spricht Gott, der HERR: Zu jener Zeit, da ich euch von allen euren Missetaten reinigen werde, will ich die Städte wieder bewohnen lassen, und die Trümmer sollen wieder aufgebaut werden.
34Das verwüstete Land soll wieder bearbeitet werden, nachdem es zuvor wüste lag vor allen, die vorübergingen.
35Alsdann wird man sagen: «Dieses verwüstete Land ist wie ein Garten Eden geworden, und die zertrümmerten Städte, welche zertrümmert und zerstört waren, sind wohlbefestigt und bewohnt!
36Und die Nationen, welche übriggeblieben sind rings um euch her, werden erfahren, daß ich, der HERR, es bin, welcher das Abgebrochene baut und das Verwüstete bepflanzt. Ich, der HERR, habe es gesagt und werde es auch tun.
37Ferner spricht Gott, der HERR, also: Auch dafür will ich mich von dem Hause Israel noch erbitten lassen, daß ich es für sie tue: Ich will sie mehren wie eine Menschenherde;
38wie die Herden im Heiligtum, wie die Herden zu Jerusalem an ihren Festen, so sollen auch die verlassenen Städte voll Menschenherden werden, und man soll erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin!

1Y TÚ, hijo del hombre, profetiza sobre los montes de Israel, y di: Montes de Israel, oid palabra de Jehová:
2Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto el enemigo dijo sobre vosotros: ¡Ea! también las alturas perpetuas nos han sido por heredad;
3Profetiza por tanto, y di: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Pues por cuanto asolándoos y tragándoos de todas partes, para que fueseis heredad á las otras gentes, se os ha hecho andar en boca de lenguas, y ser el oprobio de los pueblos,
4Por tanto, montes de Israel, oid palabra del Señor Jehová: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová á los montes y á los collados, á los arroyos y á los valles, á las ruinas y asolamientos, y á las ciudades desamparadas, que fueron puestas á saco y en escarnio á las otras gentes alrededor;
5Por eso, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He hablado por cierto en el fuego de mi celo contra las demás gentes, y contra toda Idumea, que se disputaron mi tierra por heredad con alegría de todo corazón, con enconamiento de ánimo, para que sus expelidos fuesen presa.
6Por tanto, profetiza sobre la tierra de Israel, y di á los montes y á los collados, y á los arroyos y á los valles: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí, en mi celo y en mi furor he hablado, por cuanto habéis llevado el oprobio de las gentes.
7Por lo cual así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Yo he alzado mi mano, que las gentes que os están alrededor han de llevar su afrenta.
8Mas vosotros, oh montes de Israel, daréis vuestros ramos, y llevaréis vuestro fruto á mi pueblo Israel; porque cerca están para venir.
9Porque heme aquí á vosotros, y á vosotros me volveré, y seréis labrados y sembrados.
10Y haré multiplicar sobre vosotros hombres, á toda la casa de Israel, toda ella; y las ciudades han de ser habitadas, y serán edificadas las ruinas.
11Y multiplicaré sobre vosotros hombres y bestias, y serán multiplicados y crecerán: y os haré morar como solíais antiguamente, y os haré más bien que en vuestros principios; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.
12Y haré andar hombres sobre vosotros, á mi pueblo Israel; y te poseerán, y les serás por heredad, y nunca más les matarás los hijos.
13Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto dicen de vosotros: Comedora de hombres, y matadora de los hijos de tus gentes has sido:
14Por tanto, no devorarás más hombres, y nunca más matarás los hijos á tus gentes, dice el Señor Jehová.
15Y nunca más te haré oir injuria de gentes, ni más llevarás denuestos de pueblos, ni harás más morir los hijos á tus gentes, dice el Señor Jehová.
16Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
17Hijo del hombre, morando en su tierra la casa de Israel, la contaminaron con sus caminos y con sus obras: como inmundicia de menstruosa fué su camino delante de mí.
18Y derramé mi ira sobre ellos por las sangres que derramaron sobre la tierra; porque con sus ídolos la contaminaron.
19Y esparcílos por las gentes, y fueron aventados por las tierras: conforme á sus caminos y conforme á sus obras los juzgué.
20Y entrados á las gentes á donde fueron, profanaron mi santo nombre, diciéndose de ellos: Estos son pueblo de Jehová, y de su tierra de él han salido.
21Y he tenido lástima en atención á mi santo nombre, el cual profanó la casa de Israel entre las gentes á donde fueron.
22Por tanto, di á la casa de Israel: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: No lo hago por vosotros, oh casa de Israel, sino por causa de mi santo nombre, el cual profanasteis vosotros entre las gentes á donde habéis llegado.
23Y santificaré mi grande nombre profanado entre las gentes, el cual profanasteis vosotros en medio de ellas; y sabrán las gentes que yo soy Jehová, dice el Señor Jehová, cuando fuere santificado en vosotros delante de sus ojos.
24Y yo os tomaré de las gentes, y os juntaré de todas las tierras, y os traeré á vuestro país.
25Y esparciré sobre vosotros agua limpia, y seréis limpiados de todas vuestras inmundicias; y de todos vuestros ídolos os limpiaré.
26Y os daré corazón nuevo, y pondré espíritu nuevo dentro de vosotros; y quitaré de vuestra carne el corazón de piedra, y os daré corazón de carne.
27Y pondré dentro de vosotros mi espíritu, y haré que andéis en mis mandamientos, y guardéis mis derechos, y los pongáis por obra.
28Y habitaréis en la tierra que dí á vuestros padres; y vosotros me seréis por pueblo, y yo seré á vosotros por Dios.
29Y os guardaré de todas vuestras inmundicias; y llamaré al trigo, y lo multiplicaré, y no os daré hambre.
30Multiplicaré asimismo el fruto de los árboles, y el fruto de los campos, porque nunca más recibáis oprobio de hambre entre las gentes.
31Y os acordaréis de vuestros malos caminos, y de vuestras obras que no fueron buenas; y os avergonzaréis de vosotros mismos por vuestras iniquidades, y por vuestras abominaciones.
32No lo hago por vosotros, dice el Señor Jehová, séaos notorio: avergonzaos y confundíos de vuestras iniquidades, casa de Israel.
33Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: El día que os limpiaré de todas vuestras iniquidades, haré también habitar las ciudades, y las asoladas serán edificadas.
34Y la tierra asolada será labrada, en lugar de haber sido asolada en ojos de todos los que pasaron;
35Los cuales dijeron: Esta tierra asolada fué como huerto de Edén; y estas ciudades desiertas y asoladas y arruinadas, fortalecidas estuvieron.
36Y las gentes que fueron dejadas en vuestros alrededores, sabrán que yo edifiqué las derribadas, y planté las asoladas: yo Jehová he hablado, y harélo.
37Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Aun seré solicitado de la casa de Israel, para hacerles esto: multiplicarélos de hombres á modo de rebaños.
38Como las ovejas santas, como las ovejas de Jerusalem en sus solemnidades, así las ciudades desiertas serán llenas de rebaños de hombres; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.

1Also, thou son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD:
2Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession:
3Therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people:
4Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that are round about;
5Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey.
6Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the shame of the heathen:
7Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I have lifted up mine hand, Surely the heathen that are about you, they shall bear their shame.
8But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come.
9For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and sown:
10And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the wastes shall be builded:
11And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
12Yea, I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance, and thou shalt no more henceforth bereave them of men.
13Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they say unto you, Thou land devourest up men, and hast bereaved thy nations;
14Therefore thou shalt devour men no more, neither bereave thy nations any more, saith the Lord GOD.
15Neither will I cause men to hear in thee the shame of the heathen any more, neither shalt thou bear the reproach of the people any more, neither shalt thou cause thy nations to fall any more, saith the Lord GOD.
16Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
17Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own way and by their doings: their way was before me as the uncleanness of a removed woman.
18Wherefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land, and for their idols wherewith they had polluted it:
19And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.
20And when they entered unto the heathen, whither they went, they profaned my holy name, when they said to them, These are the people of the LORD, and are gone forth out of his land.
21But I had pity for mine holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the heathen, whither they went.
22Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name’s sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.
23And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
24For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.
25Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
26A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
27And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
28And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
29I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.
30And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.
31Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.
32Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.
33Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded.
34And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by.
35And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.
36Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.
37Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.
38As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the LORD.

1You, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say, “You mountains of Israel, hear the LORD’s word.
2The Lord GOD says: ‘Because the enemy has said against you, “Aha!” and, “The ancient high places are ours in possession!”’
3therefore prophesy, and say, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Because, even because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that you might be a possession to the residue of the nations, and you are taken up in the lips of talkers, and the evil report of the people;”
4therefore, you mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD: The Lord GOD says to the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes and to the cities that are forsaken, which have become a prey and derision to the residue of the nations that are all around;
5therefore the Lord GOD says: “Surely in the fire of my jealousy I have spoken against the residue of the nations, and against all Edom, that have appointed my land to themselves for a possession with the joy of all their heart, with despite of soul, to cast it out for a prey.”’
6Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and tell the mountains, the hills, the watercourses and the valleys, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my wrath, because you have borne the shame of the nations.”
7Therefore the Lord GOD says: “I have sworn, ‘Surely the nations that are around you will bear their shame.’
8“‘“But you, mountains of Israel, you shall shoot out your branches and yield your fruit to my people Israel; for they are at hand to come.
9For, behold, I am for you, and I will come to you, and you will be tilled and sown.
10I will multiply men on you, all the house of Israel, even all of it. The cities will be inhabited and the waste places will be built.
11I will multiply man and animal on you. They will increase and be fruitful. I will cause you to be inhabited as you were before, and you will do better than at your beginnings. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
12Yes, I will cause men to walk on you, even my people Israel. They will possess you, and you will be their inheritance, and you will never again bereave them of their children.”
13“‘The Lord GOD says: “Because they say to you, ‘You are a devourer of men, and have been a bereaver of your nation;’
14therefore you shall devour men no more, and not bereave your nation any more,” says the Lord GOD.
15“I won’t let you hear the shame of the nations any more. You won’t bear the reproach of the peoples any more, and you won’t cause your nation to stumble any more,” says the Lord GOD.’”
16Moreover the LORD’s word came to me, saying,
17“Son of man, when the house of Israel lived in their own land, they defiled it by their ways and by their deeds. Their way before me was as the uncleanness of a woman in her impurity.
18Therefore I poured out my wrath on them for the blood which they had poured out on the land, and because they had defiled it with their idols.
19I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries. I judged them according to their way and according to their deeds.
20When they came to the nations where they went, they profaned my holy name, in that men said of them, ‘These are the LORD’s people, and have left his land.’
21But I had respect for my holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations where they went.
22“Therefore tell the house of Israel, ‘The Lord GOD says: “I don’t do this for your sake, house of Israel, but for my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you went.
23I will sanctify my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD,” says the Lord GOD, “when I am proven holy in you before their eyes.
24“‘“For I will take you from among the nations and gather you out of all the countries, and will bring you into your own land.
25I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.
26I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.
27I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes. You will keep my ordinances and do them.
28You will dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers. You will be my people, and I will be your God.
29I will save you from all your uncleanness. I will call for the grain and will multiply it, and lay no famine on you.
30I will multiply the fruit of the tree and the increase of the field, that you may receive no more the reproach of famine among the nations.
31“‘“Then you will remember your evil ways, and your deeds that were not good; and you will loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.
32I don’t do this for your sake,” says the Lord GOD. “Let it be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your ways, house of Israel.”
33“‘The Lord GOD says: “In the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited and the waste places will be built.
34The land that was desolate will be tilled instead of being a desolation in the sight of all who passed by.
35They will say, ‘This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden. The waste, desolate, and ruined cities are fortified and inhabited.’
36Then the nations that are left around you will know that I, the LORD, have built the ruined places and planted that which was desolate. I, the LORD, have spoken it, and I will do it.”
37“‘The Lord GOD says: “For this, moreover, I will be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them: I will increase them with men like a flock.
38As the flock for sacrifice, as the flock of Jerusalem in her appointed feasts, so the waste cities will be filled with flocks of men. Then they will know that I am the LORD.’”
