8Wenn ich zu dem Gottlosen sage: ›Gottloser, du mußt des Todes sterben!‹, du aber nichts sagst, um den Gottlosen vor seinem bösen Wandel zu warnen, so wird er, der Gottlose, zwar sein Leben um seiner Verschuldung willen verlieren, aber für den Verlust seines Lebens werde ich dich verantwortlich machen.

8When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

8When I tell the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you will surely die,’ and you don’t speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man will die in his iniquity, but I will require his blood at your hand.
