6Que si la sentinelle voit venir l’épée, et qu’elle ne sonne point du cor, en sorte que le peuple ne se tienne point sur ses gardes, et qu’ensuite l’épée survienne, et ôte la vie à quelqu’un d’entre eux ; celui-ci aura bien été surpris dans son iniquité, mais je redemanderai son sang de la main de la sentinelle.

6Pero si el atalaya viere venir la espada, y no tocare la corneta, y el pueblo no se apercibiere, y viniendo la espada, tomare de él alguno; él por causa de su pecado fué tomado, mas demandaré su sangre de mano del atalaya.

6But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.

6But if the watchman sees the sword come and doesn’t blow the trumpet, and the people aren’t warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.’
