Entonces, vino a ser el año once, en el tercer mes, en el primer día del mes, que la palabra del SEÑOR vino a mi y dijo:
Y ACONTECIÓ en el año undécimo, en el mes tercero, al primero del mes, que fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

"Hijo de hombre, dile al faraón, rey de Egipto, y a sus sirvientes alrededor de él: 'En tu grandeza, ¿a quién te pareces?
Hijo del hombre, di á Faraón rey de Egipto, y á su pueblo: ¿A quién te comparaste en tu grandeza?
Son of man, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, and to his multitude; Whom art thou like in thy greatness?
“Son of man, tell Pharaoh king of Egypt and his multitude: ‘Whom are you like in your greatness?
¡Mira! Asiria era un cedro en el Líbano con ramas hermosas, un dosel arbolado, y en gran altura. Y el tope de los árboles era entre las nubes.
He aquí era el Asirio cedro en el Líbano, hermoso en ramas, y umbroso con sus ramos, y de grande altura, y su copa estaba entre densas ramas.
Behold, the Assyrian was a cedar in Lebanon with fair branches, and with a shadowing shroud, and of an high stature; and his top was among the thick boughs.

Muchas aguas lo hicieron alto; las aguas profundas lo hicieron enorme. Rios fluían por todo su lugar, pues los canales se habían estirado a todos los árboles en el campo.
Las aguas lo hicieron crecer, encumbrólo el abismo: sus ríos iban alrededor de su pie, y á todos los árboles del campo enviaba sus corrientes.
The waters made him great, the deep set him up on high with her rivers running round about his plants, and sent out her little rivers unto all the trees of the field.
The waters nourished it. The deep made it to grow. Its rivers ran all around its plantation. It sent out its channels to all the trees of the field.
Su gran altura era más que cualquiera de los otros árboles en el campo, y sus ramas se convirtieron en muchas; sus ramas crecieron largas por las muchas aguas mientras ellas crecían.
Por tanto, se encumbró su altura sobre todos los árboles del campo, y multiplicáronse sus ramos, y á causa de las muchas aguas se alargaron sus ramas que había echado.
Therefore his height was exalted above all the trees of the field, and his boughs were multiplied, and his branches became long because of the multitude of waters, when he shot forth.

Cada pájaro de los cielos anidó en sus ramas, mientras cada cosa viviente del campo daba a luz a sus crías bajo su frondosidad. Todas de las muchas naciones vivieron bajo su sombra.
En sus ramas hacían nido todas las aves del cielo, y debajo de su ramaje parían todas las bestias del campo, y á su sombra habitaban muchas gentes.
All the fowls of heaven made their nests in his boughs, and under his branches did all the beasts of the field bring forth their young, and under his shadow dwelt all great nations.
All the birds of the sky made their nests in its boughs. Under its branches, all the animals of the field gave birth to their young. All great nations lived under its shadow.
Pues, era hermoso en su grandeza y la longitud de sus ramas, pues, sus raíces estaban en muchas aguas.
Hízose, pues, hermoso en su grandeza con la extensión de sus ramas; porque su raíz estaba junto á muchas aguas.
Thus was he fair in his greatness, in the length of his branches: for his root was by great waters.

Los cedros en el jardín de Dios no podían igualarlo. Ninguno entre los árboles de cipreses igualaban sus ramas, y los árboles planos no podían igualar sus ramas. No había ningún otro árbol en el jardín de Dios que fuera como ese en su belleza.
Los cedros no lo cubrieron en el huerto de Dios: las hayas no fueron semejantes á sus ramas, ni los castaños fueron semejantes á sus ramos: ningún árbol en el huerto de Dios fué semejante á él en su hermosura.
The cedars in the garden of God could not hide him: the fir trees were not like his boughs, and the chesnut trees were not like his branches; nor any tree in the garden of God was like unto him in his beauty.

Yo lo hice hermoso con muchas ramas y todos los árboles del Edén que estaban en el jardín de Dios lo envidiaban.
Hícelo hermoso con la multitud de sus ramas; y todos los árboles de Edén, que estaban en el huerto de Dios, tuvieron de él envidia.

Por lo tanto, el SEÑOR Dios dice esto: Porque tú eras tan alto, y porque creció alto y ponía su tope entre las nubes,
Por tanto, así dijo el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto te encumbraste en altura, y puso su cumbre entre densas ramas, y su corazón se elevó con su altura,
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast lifted up thyself in height, and he hath shot up his top among the thick boughs, and his heart is lifted up in his height;
“Therefore thus said the Lord GOD: ‘Because he is exalted in stature, and he has set his top among the thick branches, and his heart is lifted up in his height,
Yo lo entregué a las manos de una nación poderosa, para que lo maneje de acuerdo a lo que su maldad merece. Yo lo he desechado.
Yo lo entregaré en mano del fuerte de las gentes, que de cierto le manejará: por su impiedad lo he arrojado.
I have therefore delivered him into the hand of the mighty one of the heathen; he shall surely deal with him: I have driven him out for his wickedness.

Extranjeros quienes eran el terror de todas las naciones lo cortaron y lo dejaron para morir. Sus ramas cayeron en las montañas y todos los valles, y todas sus ramas permanecieron rotas en todos los barrancos de la tierra. Luego, todas las naciones de la Tierra van a salir de abajo de su sombra y se alejarán de ella.
Y le cortarán extraños, los fuertes de las gentes, y lo abandonarán: sus ramas caerán sobre los montes y por todos los valles, y por todas las arroyadas de la tierra serán quebrados sus ramos; é iránse de su sombra todos los pueblos de la tierra, y lo dejarán.
And strangers, the terrible of the nations, have cut him off, and have left him: upon the mountains and in all the valleys his branches are fallen, and his boughs are broken by all the rivers of the land; and all the people of the earth are gone down from his shadow, and have left him.
Foreigners, the tyrants of the nations, have cut him off and have left him. His branches have fallen on the mountains and in all the valleys, and his boughs are broken by all the watercourses of the land. All the peoples of the earth have gone down from his shadow and have left him.
Todos los pájaros de los cielos han descansado en su tronco y todas las bestias del campo se sentaban en sus ramas.
Sobre su ruina habitarán todas las aves del cielo, y sobre su ramas estarán todas las bestias del campo:
Upon his ruin shall all the fowls of the heaven remain, and all the beasts of the field shall be upon his branches:
All the birds of the sky will dwell on his ruin, and all the animals of the field will be on his branches,
Esto pasaba para que así ninguno de los otros árboles regados con agua pudiesen crecer a esa altura, para que ellos no pudieran levantarse hasta el tope de los árboles encima de su frondosidad, pues, ningún otro árbol que haya bebido agua crecerá otra vez así de alto. Pues, ellos fueron todos entregados a la muerte abajo, a los lugares más bajos de la tierra, en medio de los pueblos de la humanidad quienes bajan al fozo.
Para que no se eleven en su altura los árboles todos de las aguas, ni levanten su cumbre entre las espesuras, ni en sus ramas se paren por su altura todos los que beben aguas: porque todos serán entregados á muerte, á la tierra baja, en medio de los hijos de los hombres, con los que descienden á la huesa.
To the end that none of all the trees by the waters exalt themselves for their height, neither shoot up their top among the thick boughs, neither their trees stand up in their height, all that drink water: for they are all delivered unto death, to the nether parts of the earth, in the midst of the children of men, with them that go down to the pit.

El SEÑOR Dios dice esto: En el día cuando el cedro bajó al Seol Yo traje el llanto a la tierra. Yo cubrí las aguas profundas sobre él, y detuve las aguas del océano. Mantuve atrás las aguas grandiosas, y Yo traje un gemido al Libano por él. Por lo tanto, todos los árboles del campo gimieron por cause de él.
Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: El día que descendió á la sepultura, hice hacer luto, hice cubrir por él el abismo, y detuve sus ríos, y las muchas aguas fueron detenidas: y al Líbano cubrí de tinieblas por él, y todos los árboles del campo se desmayaron.
Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when he went down to the grave I caused a mourning: I covered the deep for him, and I restrained the floods thereof, and the great waters were stayed: and I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him.
“The Lord GOD says: ‘In the day when he went down to Sheol, I caused a mourning. I covered the deep for him, and I restrained its rivers. The great waters were stopped. I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him.
Yo traje un temblor a las naciones al sonido de su caída, cuando lo derrumbé hacia el Seol con aquellos que se cayeron al fozo. Y Yo consolé a todos los árboles del Edén en las partes más profundas de la tierra. Estos habían sido los seleccionados y los mejores árboles del Líbano, los árboles que bebían las aguas.
Del estruendo de su caída hice temblar las gentes, cuando les hice descender á la fosa con todos los que descienden á la sepultura; y todos los árboles de Edén escogidos, y los mejores del Líbano, todos los que beben aguas, tomaron consolación en la tierra baja.
I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to hell with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be comforted in the nether parts of the earth.

Pues ellos también se fueron abajo con él al Seol, a aquellos quienes fueron muertos a espada. Estos fueron sus brazos fuertes, aquellas naciones que han vivido a su sombra.
También ellos descendieron con él á la fosa, con los muertos á cuchillo, los que fueron su brazo, los que estuvieron á su sombra en medio de las gentes.
They also went down into hell with him unto them that be slain with the sword; and they that were his arm, that dwelt under his shadow in the midst of the heathen.
They also went down into Sheol with him to those who are slain by the sword; yes, those who were his arm, who lived under his shadow in the middle of the nations.
¿Cuál de los árboles del Edén era semejante a tu gloria y grandeza? Pues tú seras derrumbado con los árboles del Edén a las partes más profundas de la tierra junto a los incircuncisos; vivirás con aquellos quienes fueron asesinados a espada.' Este es el faraón y todos sus sirvientes, esta es la declaración del SEÑOR Dios."
¿A quién te has comparado así en gloria y en grandeza entre los árboles de Edén? Pues derribado serás con los árboles de Edén en la tierra baja: entre los incircuncisos yacerás, con los muertos á cuchillo. Este es Faraón y todo su pueblo, dice el Señor Jehová.
To whom art thou thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? yet shalt thou be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts of the earth: thou shalt lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword. This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.
“‘To whom are you thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? Yet you will be brought down with the trees of Eden to the lower parts of the earth. You will lie in the middle of the uncircumcised, with those who are slain by the sword. “‘This is Pharaoh and all his multitude,’ says the Lord GOD.”
