"Hijo de hombre, profetiza y di, 'El SEÑOR dice: Giman, "Ay del día que viene."

Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Howl ye, Woe worth the day!
“Son of man, prophesy, and say, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Wail, ‘Alas for the day!’
El día está cerca. El día está cerca para el SEÑOR. Será un día de nubes, un tiempo de fatalidad para las naciones.
Porque cerca está el día, cerca está el día del Señor; día de nublado, día de las gentes será.
For the day is near, even the day of the LORD is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen.
For the day is near, even the LORD’s day is near. It will be a day of clouds, a time of the nations.
Entonces una espada vendrá en contra de Egipto, y habrá angustia en Etiopía cuando la gente caiga muerta en Egipto, cuando tomen sus riquezas, y cuando sus fundamentos sean arruinados.
Y vendrá espada á Egipto, y habrá miedo en Etiopía, cuando caerán heridos en Egipto; y tomarán su multitud, y serán destruídos sus fundamentos.
And the sword shall come upon Egypt, and great pain shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down.
A sword will come on Egypt, and anguish will be in Ethiopia, when the slain fall in Egypt. They take away her multitude, and her foundations are broken down.
Etiopía, Put y Lud, y todos los extranjeros, junto con el pueblo perteneciente al pacto, todos ellos caerán por la espada.
Etiopía, y Libia, y Lidia, y todo el conjunto de pueblo, y Chûb, y los hijos de la tierra de la liga, caerán con ellos á cuchillo.
Ethiopia, and Libya, and Lydia, and all the mingled people, and Chub, and the men of the land that is in league, shall fall with them by the sword.
“‘“Ethiopia, Put, Lud, all the mixed people, Cub, and the children of the land that is allied with them, will fall with them by the sword.”
El SEÑOR dice: Así que los que apoyan a Egipto caerán, y el orgullo de su fuerza bajará. Desde Migdol hasta Sevene sus soldados caerán por la espada, esta es la declaración del SEÑOR.
Así ha dicho Jehová: También caerán los que sostienen á Egipto, y la altivez de su fortaleza caerá: desde Migdol hasta Seveneh caerán en él á cuchillo, dice el Señor Jehová.
Thus saith the LORD; They also that uphold Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Syene shall they fall in it by the sword, saith the Lord GOD.
“‘The LORD says: “They also who uphold Egypt will fall. The pride of her power will come down. They will fall by the sword in it from the tower of Seveneh,” says the Lord GOD.
Ellos estarán horrorizados en medio de las tierras abandonadas, y sus ciudades estarán en medio de todas la ciudades arruinadas.
Y serán asolados entre las tierras asoladas, y sus ciudades serán entre las ciudades desiertas.
And they shall be desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities shall be in the midst of the cities that are wasted.

Entonces ellos sabrán que Yo Soy el SEÑOR, cuando prenda fuego en Egipto, y cuando todos sus ayudantes estén destruidos.
Y sabrán que yo soy Jehová, cuando pusiere fuego á Egipto, y fueren quebrantados todos sus ayudadores.
And they shall know that I am the LORD, when I have set a fire in Egypt, and when all her helpers shall be destroyed.

En ese día mensajeros saldrán de delante de Mí en naves para aterrorizar una Etiopía segura, y habrá angustia entre ellos en el día de la fatalidad de Egipto. Pues, ¡Miren! El día vendrá.
En aquel tiempo saldrán mensajeros de delante de mí en navíos, á espantar á Etiopía la confiada, y tendrán espanto como en el día de Egipto: porque he aquí viene.
In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians afraid, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh.

El SEÑOR Dios dice: Yo traeré un final da las multitudes de Egipto por la mano de Nabucodonosor, el rey de Babilonia.
Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Haré cesar la multitud de Egipto por mano de Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia.
Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also make the multitude of Egypt to cease by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon.
“‘The Lord GOD says: “I will also make the multitude of Egypt to cease, by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon.
Él y su ejército, el terror de naciones, serán traídos para destruir la tierra; ellos sacarán sus espadas en contra de Egipto y llenarán la tierra con gente muerta.
El, y con él su pueblo, los más fuertes de las gentes, serán traídos á destruir la tierra: y desenvainarán sus espadas sobre Egipto, y henchirán la tierra de muertos.

Yo convertiré los ríos en tierra seca, y venderé la tierra en la mano de hombres malvados. Yo haré la tierra y su llenura desolada por la mano de extranjeros, Yo, el SEÑOR, he hablado.

El SEÑOR Dios dice: Yo destruiré ídolos, y pondré fin a los ídolos sin valor de Menfis. Ya no habrá más príncipe en la tierra de Egipto, y Yo pondré terror sobre la tierra de Egipto.
Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Destruiré también las imágenes, y haré cesar los ídolos de Memphis; y no habrá más príncipe de la tierra de Egipto, y en la tierra de Egipto pondré temor.
Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause their images to cease out of Noph; and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt: and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt.

Pues Yo derramaré mi furia sobre Sin, la fortaleza de Egipto, y cortaré la multitud de Tebas.

And I will pour my fury upon Sin, the strength of Egypt; and I will cut off the multitude of No.

Entonces Yo prenderé fuego en Egipto; Sin estará en agonía severa, Tebas será rota, y Menfis enfrentará enemigos todos los días.
Y pondré fuego á Egipto; Sin tendrá gran dolor, y No será destrozada, y Memphis tendrá continuas angustias.
And I will set fire in Egypt: Sin shall have great pain, and No shall be rent asunder, and Noph shall have distresses daily.

Los hombres jóvenes en On y Pi Besset caerán por la espada, y sus ciudades irán a cautiverio.

En Tafnes, el día retendrá su luz cuando Yo rompa el yugo de Egipto ahí, y el orgullo de su fuerza se acabará. Habrá una nube cubriéndola, y sus hijas caminarán hacia el cautiverio.
Y en Tehaphnes será cerrado el día, cuando quebrantaré yo allí las barras de Egipto, y cesará en ella la soberbia de su fortaleza: nublado la cubrirá, y los moradores de sus aldeas irán en cautiverio.
At Tehaphnehes also the day shall be darkened, when I shall break there the yokes of Egypt: and the pomp of her strength shall cease in her: as for her, a cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall go into captivity.

Thus will I execute judgments in Egypt: and they shall know that I am the LORD.

Entonces sucedió en el año once, en el primer mes, en el séptimo día del mes, que la palabra del SEÑOR vino a mí, diciendo,
Y aconteció en el año undécimo, en el mes primero, á los siete del mes, que fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first month, in the seventh day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

"Hijo de hombre, Yo he roto el brazo del Faraón, el rey de Egipto. ¡Mira! No ha sido vendado, o fijado para sanar con un vendaje, de manera que se pondrá suficientemente fuerte para agarrar una espada.
Hijo del hombre, quebrantado he el brazo de Faraón rey de Egipto; y he aquí que no ha sido vendado poniéndole medicinas, poniéndole faja para ligarlo, á fin de vigorizarle para que pueda tener espada.
Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed, to put a roller to bind it, to make it strong to hold the sword.
“Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Behold, it has not been bound up, to apply medicines, to put a bandage to bind it, that it may become strong to hold the sword.
Por lo tanto el SEÑOR dice, 'Miren, Yo estoy en contra de Faraón, el rey de Egipto. Pues yo romperé su brazo, tanto el fuerte como el roto, y Yo haré la espada caer de su mano.
Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Heme aquí contra Faraón rey de Egipto, y quebraré sus brazos, el fuerte y el fracturado, y haré que la espada se le caiga de la mano.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong, and that which was broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.

But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt.
I will hold up the arms of the king of Babylon, but the arms of Pharaoh will fall down. Then they will know that I am the LORD when I put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he stretches it out on the land of Egypt.
