Nova Bíblia Viva
1Depois disto, recebi outra mensagem do Senhor na qual ele me disse:
2“Filho do homem, cante este lamento pela cidade de Tiro:
3“Diga a Tiro, que fica junto à entrada para o mar, e que faz comércio com todos os povos que vivem no litoral: Assim diz o Soberano, o Senhor: “Você pensa consigo mesma, ó Tiro: “ ‘Sou a mais bela cidade do mundo!’
4“Você estendeu seu território pelo mar afora. Seus construtores fizeram de você uma cidade bonita.
5Você é como um belo navio, construído com boa madeira de cipreste da terra de Senir. Seus mastros foram construídos com madeira de cedro do Líbano.
6Fizeram seus remos com madeira de carvalho da terra de Basã. Os bancos e o interior da cabine foram feitos de marfim, vindo da ilha de Chipre.
7E as suas velas, que lindas! Eram feitas de linho fino e bordado, trazido do Egito. Além disso, havia coberturas para proteger do sol, feitas do melhor pano tingido com púrpura e azul, trazido das ilhas do mar Egeu.
8Os remadores desse barco foram homens de Sidom e Arvade. Os marinheiros foram os sábios mestres que viviam em Tiro.
9Antigos e sábios trabalhadores de Gebal taparam com muito cuidado todas as frestas, para o barco flutuar com segurança. Navios e marinheiros de todas as nações vinham até você para negociar as suas mercadorias.
10“Você contratou soldados de outras nações — homens da Pérsia, de Lídia e de Fute — para formar seu exército. Os escudos e capacetes desses soldados pendurados no alto dos muros foram o toque final de sua grande beleza.
11Andando sobre os muros, vigiando a cidade, estavam os soldados de Arvade e Heileque. Nas torres de guerra montavam guarda os soldados de Gamade. Como de costume, todos eles penduravam seus escudos no alto dos muros, o ponto alto de sua glória como cidade.
12“Trocando seus produtos com a colônia de Társis, você conseguia prata, ferro, estanho e chumbo.
13Comerciantes de Javã, Tubal e Meseque faziam negócios com você, dando escravos e objetos de bronze pelas suas mercadorias.
14“Com o povo de Togarma, você conseguia cavalos de guerra, cavalos de carga e mulas, dando em troca os seus produtos.
15“Da terra de Dedã vinham também comerciantes. As suas colônias espalhadas pelo mar eram obrigadas a negociar com você, pagando seus produtos com madeira de ébano e marfim.
16“A Síria também estava na lista dos que comerciavam com você. Pelos seus inúmeros produtos eles ofereciam esmeraldas, púrpura para tingir tecidos, belos bordados, linho fino, coral e pedras preciosas.
17Antes de serem destruídos, Israel e Judá também eram seus fregueses. Em troca de seus produtos, eles ofereciam trigo da melhor qualidade, nozes, mel, azeite e perfumes.
18Damasco também foi atraído pelo grande número de produtos que você apresentava para o comércio; em troca deles, oferecia vinho de Helbom, muito famoso e apreciado, e lã de Zaar.
19Na lista de seus fregueses também estavam Dã e Javã, que traziam de Uzal objetos de ferro, remédios à base de cálamo e também canela silvestre.
20Dedã negociou com você mantos para selas.
21“Os príncipes da Arábia também negociavam com você, oferecendo ovelhas, cabras e carneiros para seus mercados.
22Os mercadores de Sabá e Raamá faziam comércio com você; em troca de seus produtos, eles ofereciam os mais finos perfumes, pedras preciosas e ouro.
23“Além de todos esses, havia ainda negociantes de Harã, Cane, Éden, e os mercadores de Sabá, Assíria e Quilmade.
24Desses lugares você recebia toda espécie de tecidos, tingidos e bordados; recebia também tapetes e cordas bem resistentes e de nós firmes.
25Você formava suas caravanas marítimas com navios de Társis. Assim, você enriqueceu e ficou famosa em todo o mundo. Quanta carga pesada você tem no coração do mar.
26“Mas agora, os seus remadores levaram seu barco para dentro de uma terrível tempestade. Um vento leste muito forte arrebentou seu belo navio no meio do mar!
27As suas grandes riquezas, suas mercadorias, seus tesouros, seus marinheiros e homens do mar, os homens que constroem navios, os negociantes e soldados, todos, todos afundarão no mar, no dia do seu naufrágio.
28“As cidades do litoral tremerão ao ouvir os gritos desesperados dos marinheiros.
29Todos os homens do mar, os remadores, marinheiros e marujos, abandonarão seus navios e virão à praia para chorar.
30Vão chorar por você, Tiro, e gritar de dor e sofrimento. Por causa disso, jogarão poeira para o ar e rolarão nas cinzas.
31Rasparão as cabeças em sinal de dor, vestirão pedaços de pano grosseiro. Chorarão com a mais profunda tristeza, lamentando por você com o coração cheio de amargura.
32E a triste cantiga com que eles lamentarão a sua destruição é a seguinte: ‘Onde, em todo o mundo, existiu uma cidade tão bela e importante quanto Tiro, que agora está em silêncio cercada pelo mar?’
33Exportando seus produtos em navios, ela satisfez os desejos de muitas nações. Seu comércio era tão fabuloso que deixou ricos os reis de várias nações da terra.
34Agora você foi destruída pelo mar; todas as suas riquezas, todas as suas mercadorias valiosas, todo o seu povo, tudo isso afundou e desapareceu completamente com você.
35Todos os povos que vivem junto ao mar estão olhando espantados; os reis tremem de medo e preocupação ao ver o que aconteceu com você.
36Os mercadores e negociantes em todo o mundo balançam a cabeça, desanimados com a sua destruição. E, para todo o sempre, você servirá de exemplo, triste exemplo, para outros povos. E você nunca mais será reconstruída”.

1Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
2Y tú, hijo del hombre, levanta endechas sobre Tiro.
3Y dirás á Tiro, que está asentada á las entradas de la mar, mercadera de los pueblos de muchas islas: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Tiro, tú has dicho: Yo soy de perfecta hermosura.
4En el corazón de las mares están tus términos: los que te edificaron completaron tu belleza.
5De hayas del monte Senir te fabricaron todas las tillas: tomaron cedros del Líbano para hacerte el mástil.
6De castaños de Basán hicieron tus remos: compañía de Asirios hicieron tus bancos de marfil de las islas de Chittim.
7De fino lino bordado de Egipto fué tu cortina, para que te sirviese de vela; de cárdeno y grana de las islas de Elisah fué tu pabellón.
8Los moradores de Sidón y de Arvad fueron tus remeros: tus sabios, oh Tiro, estaban en ti; ellos fueron tus pilotos.
9Los ancianos de Gebal y sus sabios repararon tus hendiduras: todas las galeras de la mar y los remeros de ellas fueron en ti para negociar tus negocios.
10Persas y Lidios, y los de Phut, fueron en tu ejército tus hombres de guerra: escudos y capacetes colgaron en ti; ellos te dieron tu honra.
11Y los hijos de Arvad con tu ejército estuvieron sobre tus muros alrededor, y los Gammadeos en tus torres: sus escudos colgaron sobre tus muros alrededor; ellos completaron tu hermosura.
12Tarsis tu mercadera á causa de la multitud de todas riquezas en plata, hierro, estaño, y plomo, dió en tus ferias.
13Grecia, Tubal, y Mesec, tus mercaderes, con hombres y con vasos de metal, dieron en tus ferias.
14De la casa de Togarma, caballos y caballeros y mulos, dieron en tu mercado.
15Los hijos de Dedán eran tus negociantes: muchas islas tomaban mercadería de tu mano; cuernos de marfil y pavos te dieron en presente.
16Siria fué tu mercadera por la multitud de tus labores: con perlas, y púrpura, y vestidos bordados, y linos finos, y corales, y rubíes, dió en tus ferias.
17Judá, y la tierra de Israel, eran tus mercaderes: con trigos de Minith, y pannah, y miel, y aceite, y resina, dieron en tu mercado.
18Damasco, tu mercadera por la multitud de tus labores, por la abundancia de todas riquezas, con vino de Helbón, y lana blanca.
19Asimismo Dan y el errante Javán dieron en tus ferias, para negociar en tu mercado de hierro labrado, mirra destilada, y caña aromática.
20Dedán fué tu mercadera con paños preciosos para carros.
21Arabia y todos los príncipes de Cedar, mercaderes de tu mano en corderos, y carneros, y machos cabríos: en estas cosas fueron tus mercaderes.
22Los mercaderes de Seba y de Raama fueron tus mercaderes: con lo principal de toda especiería, y toda piedra preciosa, y oro, dieron en tus ferias.
23Harán, y Canneh, y Edén, los mercaderes de Seba, de Asiria, y Chilmad, contigo contrataban.
24Estos tus mercaderes negociaban contigo en varias cosas: en mantos de jacinto, y bordados, y en cajas de ropas preciosas, enlazadas con cordones, y en madera de cedro.
25Las naves de Tarsis, tus cuadrillas, fueron en tu negociación: y fuiste llena, y fuiste multiplicada en gran manera en medio de los mares.
26En muchas aguas te engolfaron tus remeros: viento solano te quebrantó en medio de los mares.
27Tus riquezas, y tus mercaderías, y tu negociación, tus remeros, y tus pilotos, los reparadores de tus hendiduras, y los agentes de tus negocios, y todos tus hombres de guerra que hay en ti, con toda tu compañía que en medio de ti se halla, caerán en medio de los mares el día de tu caída.
28Al estrépito de las voces de tus marineros temblarán los arrabales.
29Y descenderán de sus naves todos los que toman remo; remeros, y todos los pilotos de la mar se pararán en tierra:
30Y harán oir su voz sobre ti, y gritarán amargamente, y echarán polvo sobre sus cabezas, y se revolcarán en la ceniza.
31Y haránse por ti calva, y se ceñirán de sacos, y endecharán por ti endechas amargas, con amargura de alma.
32Y levantarán sobre ti endechas en sus lamentaciones, y endecharán sobre ti diciendo: ¿Quién como Tiro, como la destruída en medio de la mar?
33Cuando tus mercaderías salían de las naves, hartabas muchos pueblos: los reyes de la tierra enriqueciste con la multitud de tus riquezas y de tus contrataciones.
34En el tiempo que serás quebrantada de los mares en los profundos de las aguas, tu comercio y toda tu compañía caerán en medio de ti.
35Todos los moradores de las islas se maravillarán sobre ti, y sus reyes temblarán de espanto: inmutaránse en sus rostros.
36Los mercaderes en los pueblos silbarán sobre ti: vendrás á ser espanto, y dejarás de ser para siempre.

1The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
2Now, thou son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyrus;
3And say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of perfect beauty.
4Thy borders are in the midst of the seas, thy builders have perfected thy beauty.
5They have made all thy ship boards of fir trees of Senir: they have taken cedars from Lebanon to make masts for thee.
6Of the oaks of Bashan have they made thine oars; the company of the Ashurites have made thy benches of ivory, brought out of the isles of Chittim.
7Fine linen with broidered work from Egypt was that which thou spreadest forth to be thy sail; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was that which covered thee.
8The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were thy mariners: thy wise men, O Tyrus, that were in thee, were thy pilots.
9The ancients of Gebal and the wise men thereof were in thee thy calkers: all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in thee to occupy thy merchandise.
10They of Persia and of Lud and of Phut were in thine army, thy men of war: they hanged the shield and helmet in thee; they set forth thy comeliness.
11The men of Arvad with thine army were upon thy walls round about, and the Gammadims were in thy towers: they hanged their shields upon thy walls round about; they have made thy beauty perfect.
12Tarshish was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of all kind of riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded in thy fairs.
13Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they were thy merchants: they traded the persons of men and vessels of brass in thy market.
14They of the house of Togarmah traded in thy fairs with horses and horsemen and mules.
15The men of Dedan were thy merchants; many isles were the merchandise of thine hand: they brought thee for a present horns of ivory and ebony.
16Syria was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of the wares of thy making: they occupied in thy fairs with emeralds, purple, and broidered work, and fine linen, and coral, and agate.
17Judah, and the land of Israel, they were thy merchants: they traded in thy market wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honey, and oil, and balm.
18Damascus was thy merchant in the multitude of the wares of thy making, for the multitude of all riches; in the wine of Helbon, and white wool.
19Dan also and Javan going to and fro occupied in thy fairs: bright iron, cassia, and calamus, were in thy market.
20Dedan was thy merchant in precious clothes for chariots.
21Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar, they occupied with thee in lambs, and rams, and goats: in these were they thy merchants.
22The merchants of Sheba and Raamah, they were thy merchants: they occupied in thy fairs with chief of all spices, and with all precious stones, and gold.
23Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, the merchants of Sheba, Asshur, and Chilmad, were thy merchants.
24These were thy merchants in all sorts of things, in blue clothes, and broidered work, and in chests of rich apparel, bound with cords, and made of cedar, among thy merchandise.
25The ships of Tarshish did sing of thee in thy market: and thou wast replenished, and made very glorious in the midst of the seas.
26Thy rowers have brought thee into great waters: the east wind hath broken thee in the midst of the seas.
27Thy riches, and thy fairs, thy merchandise, thy mariners, and thy pilots, thy calkers, and the occupiers of thy merchandise, and all thy men of war, that are in thee, and in all thy company which is in the midst of thee, shall fall into the midst of the seas in the day of thy ruin.
28The suburbs shall shake at the sound of the cry of thy pilots.
29And all that handle the oar, the mariners, and all the pilots of the sea, shall come down from their ships, they shall stand upon the land;
30And shall cause their voice to be heard against thee, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast up dust upon their heads, they shall wallow themselves in the ashes:
31And they shall make themselves utterly bald for thee, and gird them with sackcloth, and they shall weep for thee with bitterness of heart and bitter wailing.
32And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and lament over thee, saying, What city is like Tyrus, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea?
33When thy wares went forth out of the seas, thou filledst many people; thou didst enrich the kings of the earth with the multitude of thy riches and of thy merchandise.
34In the time when thou shalt be broken by the seas in the depths of the waters thy merchandise and all thy company in the midst of thee shall fall.
35All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore afraid, they shall be troubled in their countenance.
36The merchants among the people shall hiss at thee; thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt be any more.

1The LORD’s word came again to me, saying,
2“You, son of man, take up a lamentation over Tyre;
3and tell Tyre, ‘You who dwell at the entry of the sea, who are the merchant of the peoples to many islands, the Lord GOD says: “You, Tyre, have said, ‘I am perfect in beauty.’
4Your borders are in the heart of the seas. Your builders have perfected your beauty.
5They have made all your planks of cypress trees from Senir. They have taken a cedar from Lebanon to make a mast for you.
6They have made your oars of the oaks of Bashan. They have made your benches of ivory inlaid in cypress wood from the islands of Kittim.
7Your sail was of fine linen with embroidered work from Egypt, that it might be to you for a banner. Blue and purple from the islands of Elishah was your awning.
8The inhabitants of Sidon and Arvad were your rowers. Your wise men, Tyre, were in you. They were your pilots.
9The old men of Gebal and its wise men were your repairers of ship seams in you. All the ships of the sea with their mariners were in you to deal in your merchandise.
10“‘“Persia, Lud, and Put were in your army, your men of war. They hung the shield and helmet in you. They showed your beauty.
11The men of Arvad with your army were on your walls all around, and valiant men were in your towers. They hung their shields on your walls all around. They have perfected your beauty.
12“‘“Tarshish was your merchant by reason of the multitude of all kinds of riches. They traded for your wares with silver, iron, tin, and lead.
13“‘“Javan, Tubal, and Meshech were your traders. They traded the persons of men and vessels of bronze for your merchandise.
14“‘“They of the house of Togarmah traded for your wares with horses, war horses, and mules.
15“‘“The men of Dedan traded with you. Many islands were the market of your hand. They brought you horns of ivory and ebony in exchange.
16“‘“Syria was your merchant by reason of the multitude of your handiworks. They traded for your wares with emeralds, purple, embroidered work, fine linen, coral, and rubies.
17“‘“Judah and the land of Israel were your traders. They traded wheat of Minnith, confections, honey, oil, and balm for your merchandise.
18“‘“Damascus was your merchant for the multitude of your handiworks by reason of the multitude of all kinds of riches, with the wine of Helbon, and white wool.
19“‘“Vedan and Javan traded with yarn for your wares; wrought iron, cassia, and calamus were among your merchandise.
20“‘“Dedan was your merchant in precious saddle blankets for riding.
21“‘“Arabia and all the princes of Kedar were your favorite dealers in lambs, rams, and goats. In these, they were your merchants.
22“‘“The traders of Sheba and Raamah were your traders. They traded for your wares with the best of all spices, all precious stones, and gold.
23“‘“Haran, Canneh, Eden, the traders of Sheba, Asshur and Chilmad, were your traders.
24These were your traders in choice wares, in wrappings of blue and embroidered work, and in cedar chests of rich clothing bound with cords, among your merchandise.
25“‘“The ships of Tarshish were your caravans for your merchandise. You were replenished and made very glorious in the heart of the seas.
26Your rowers have brought you into great waters. The east wind has broken you in the heart of the seas.
27Your riches, your wares, your merchandise, your mariners, your pilots, your repairers of ship seams, the dealers in your merchandise, and all your men of war who are in you, with all your company which is among you, will fall into the heart of the seas in the day of your ruin.
28At the sound of the cry of your pilots, the pasture lands will shake.
29All who handle the oars, the mariners and all the pilots of the sea, will come down from their ships. They will stand on the land,
30and will cause their voice to be heard over you, and will cry bitterly. They will cast up dust on their heads. They will wallow in the ashes.
31They will make themselves bald for you, and clothe themselves with sackcloth. They will weep for you in bitterness of soul, with bitter mourning.
32In their wailing they will take up a lamentation for you, and lament over you, saying, ‘Who is there like Tyre, like her who is brought to silence in the middle of the sea?’
33When your wares came from the seas, you filled many peoples. You enriched the kings of the earth with the multitude of your riches and of your merchandise.
34In the time that you were broken by the seas, in the depths of the waters, your merchandise and all your company fell within you.
35All the inhabitants of the islands are astonished at you, and their kings are horribly afraid. They are troubled in their face.
36The merchants among the peoples hiss at you. You have come to a terrible end, and you will be no more.”’”
