Ezequiel 25
La Sainte Bible (Ostervald)
1La parole de l'Éternel me fut adressée, en ces termes:
2Fils de l'homme, tourne ta face vers les enfants d'Ammon, et prophétise contre eux.
3Dis aux enfants d'Ammon: Écoutez la parole du Seigneur, l'Éternel. Ainsi a dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Parce que tu as dit: ah! ah! à propos de mon sanctuaire, quand il fut profané, et du pays d'Israël, quand il fut dévasté, et de la maison de Juda, lorsqu'elle se rendit en captivité,
4Voici, je te livre aux enfants de l'Orient. Ils établiront au milieu de toi leurs parcs, et ils y placeront leurs demeures; ils mangeront tes fruits, et ils boiront ton lait.
5De Rabba, je ferai un pâturage pour les chameaux, et du pays des enfants d'Ammon, un bercail pour les moutons, et vous saurez que je suis l'Éternel.
6Car ainsi a dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Parce que tu as battu des mains et frappé du pied, que tu t'es réjoui avec dédain en ton âme, au sujet du pays d'Israël,
7Voici, j'étends ma main sur toi et je te livre en proie aux nations; je te retranche d'entre les peuples, je te fais disparaître d'entre les pays, je t'extermine, et tu sauras que je suis l'Éternel.
8Ainsi a dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Parce que Moab et Séïr ont dit: voici, il en est de la maison de Juda comme de toutes les nations;
9A cause de cela, voici, j'ouvre le flanc de Moab, du côté de ses villes, ses villes frontières, l'ornement du pays, Beth-Jéshimoth, Baal-Méon et Kirjathaïm;
10Je l'ouvre aux enfants de l'Orient, qui marchent contre les enfants d'Ammon, et je le leur donne en possession, afin que les enfants d'Ammon ne soient plus rangés au nombre des nations.
11J'exercerai mes jugements contre Moab et ils sauront que je suis l'Éternel.
12Ainsi a dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Parce qu'Édom s'est livré à la vengeance à l'égard de la maison de Juda, et s'est rendu coupable en se vengeant d'elle,
13Ainsi a dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel: J'étends ma main sur Édom; j'en extermine hommes et bêtes; je le réduis en désert; de Théman à Dédan ils tomberont par l'épée.
14J'exercerai ma vengeance sur Édom par la main de mon peuple d'Israël, et ils traiteront Édom selon ma colère et selon ma fureur; ils sauront ce qu'est ma vengeance, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel.
15Ainsi a dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Parce que les Philistins ont agi par vengeance, et qu'ils se sont vengés inhumainement, avec mépris, et selon leur désir, jusqu'à tout détruire dans une haine éternelle,
16A cause de cela, ainsi a dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Voici, j'étends ma main sur les Philistins, et j'extermine les Kéréthiens, et je fais périr ce qui reste sur la côte de la mer.
17J'exercerai sur eux de grandes vengeances par des châtiments pleins de fureur, et ils sauront que je suis l'Éternel, quand j'exécuterai contre eux ma vengeance.

1Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
2Hijo del hombre, pon tu rostro hacia los hijos de Ammón, y profetiza sobre ellos.
3Y dirás á los hijos de Ammón: Oid palabra del Señor Jehová. Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto dijiste ¡Ea! acerca de mi santuario que fué profanado, y sobre la tierra de Israel que fué asolada, y sobre la casa de Judá, porque fueron en cautiverio;
4Por tanto, he aquí, yo te entrego á los Orientales por heredad, y pondrán en ti sus apriscos, y colocarán en ti sus tiendas: ellos comerán tus sementeras, y beberán tu leche.
5Y pondré á Rabba por habitación de camellos, y á los hijos de Ammón por majada de ovejas; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.
6Porque así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto tú batiste tus manos, y pateaste, y te gozaste del alma en todo tu menosprecio sobre la tierra de Israel;
7Por tanto, he aquí yo extenderé mi mano sobre ti, y te entregaré á las gentes para ser saqueada; y yo te cortaré de entre los pueblos, y te destruiré de entre las tierras: te raeré; y sabrás que yo soy Jehová.
8Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto dijo Moab y Seir: He aquí la casa de Judá es como todas las gentes;
9Por tanto, he aquí yo abro el lado de Moab desde las ciudades, desde sus ciudades que están en su confín, las tierras deseables de Beth-jesimoth, y Baal-meón, y Chîriathaim,
10A los hijos del oriente contra los hijos de Ammón; y entregaréla por heredad para que no haya más memoria de los hijos de Ammón entre las gentes.
11También en Moab haré juicios; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.
12Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por lo que hizo Edom tomando venganza de la casa de Judá, pues delinquieron en extremo, y se vengaron de ellos;
13Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Yo también extenderé mi mano sobre Edom, y talaré de ella hombres y bestias, y la asolaré: desde Temán y Dedán caerán á cuchillo.
14Y pondré mi venganza en Edom por la mano de mi pueblo Israel; y harán en Edom según mi enojo y según mi ira: y conocerán mi venganza, dice el Señor Jehová.
15Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por lo que hicieron los Palestinos con venganza, cuando se vengaron con despecho de ánimo, destruyendo por antiguas enemistades;
16Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí yo extiendo mi mano sobre los Palestinos, y talaré los Ceretheos, y destruiré el resto de la ribera de la mar.
17Y haré en ellos grandes venganzas con reprensiones de ira; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová, cuando diere mi venganza en ellos.

1The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
2Son of man, set thy face against the Ammonites, and prophesy against them;
3And say unto the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity;
4Behold, therefore I will deliver thee to the men of the east for a possession, and they shall set their palaces in thee, and make their dwellings in thee: they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk.
5And I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the Ammonites a couchingplace for flocks: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
6For thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast clapped thine hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced in heart with all thy despite against the land of Israel;
7Behold, therefore I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the heathen; and I will cut thee off from the people, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries: I will destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.
8Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the heathen;
9Therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kiriathaim,
10Unto the men of the east with the Ammonites, and will give them in possession, that the Ammonites may not be remembered among the nations.
11And I will execute judgments upon Moab; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
12Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because that Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them;
13Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword.
14And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel: and they shall do in Edom according to mine anger and according to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord GOD.
15Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy it for the old hatred;
16Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.
17And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.

1The LORD’s word came to me, saying,
2“Son of man, set your face toward the children of Ammon, and prophesy against them.
3Tell the children of Ammon, ‘Hear the word of the Lord GOD! The Lord GOD says, “Because you said, ‘Aha!’ against my sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into captivity,
4therefore, behold, I will deliver you to the children of the east for a possession. They will set their encampments in you and make their dwellings in you. They will eat your fruit and they will drink your milk.
5I will make Rabbah a stable for camels and the children of Ammon a resting place for flocks. Then you will know that I am the LORD.”
6For the Lord GOD says: “Because you have clapped your hands, stamped with the feet, and rejoiced with all the contempt of your soul against the land of Israel,
7therefore, behold, I have stretched out my hand on you, and will deliver you for a plunder to the nations. I will cut you off from the peoples, and I will cause you to perish out of the countries. I will destroy you. Then you will know that I am the LORD.”
8“‘The Lord GOD says: “Because Moab and Seir say, ‘Behold, the house of Judah is like all the nations,’
9therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on its frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and Kiriathaim,
10to the children of the east, to go against the children of Ammon; and I will give them for a possession, that the children of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations.
11I will execute judgments on Moab. Then they will know that I am the LORD.”
12“‘The Lord GOD says: “Because Edom has dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended, and taken revenge on them,”
13therefore the Lord GOD says, “I will stretch out my hand on Edom, and will cut off man and animal from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman. They will fall by the sword even to Dedan.
14I will lay my vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel. They will do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath. Then they will know my vengeance,” says the Lord GOD.
15“‘The Lord GOD says: “Because the Philistines have taken revenge, and have taken vengeance with contempt of soul to destroy with perpetual hostility,”
16therefore the Lord GOD says, “Behold, I will stretch out my hand on the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.
17I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful rebukes. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I lay my vengeance on them.”’”
