1Hierauf erging das Wort des HERRN an mich folgendermaßen:
2»Menschensohn, richte deine Blicke gegen die Ammoniter und weissage gegen sie!
3Sprich zu den Ammonitern: ›Hört das Wort Gottes, des HERRN! So hat Gott der HERR gesprochen: Weil du Haha! gerufen hast über mein Heiligtum, weil es entweiht wurde, und über das Land Israel, weil es verwüstet wurde, und über das Haus Juda, weil sie in die Verbannung wandern mußten:
4darum, fürwahr, will ich dich den Söhnen des Ostens zum Besitztum geben, daß sie ihre Zeltlager in dir aufschlagen und ihre Wohnungen in dich verlegen; sie werden deine Früchte essen und sie deine Milch trinken.
5Und ich will Rabba zu einer Weide für Kamele machen und die Ortschaften der Ammoniter zu einem Lagerplatz für Kleinvieh, damit ihr erkennt, daß ich der HERR bin.
6Denn so hat Gott der HERR gesprochen: »Weil du in die Hände geklatscht und mit dem Fuß gestampft und dich gefühllos von ganzem Herzen über das Land Israel gefreut hast:
7darum will ich nunmehr meine Hand gegen dich ausstrecken und dich den Völkern zur Plünderung preisgeben, ich will dich aus den Völkerschaften ausrotten und dich endgültig aus der Zahl der Länder verschwinden lassen, damit du erkennst, daß ich der HERR bin!« –
8So hat Gott der HERR gesprochen: »Weil Moab und Seir sagen: ›Nunmehr ergeht es dem Hause Juda wie allen anderen Völkern!‹,
9darum will ich jetzt die Abhänge Moabs entblößen, so daß es der Städte verlustig geht, seiner Städte verlustig ohne alle Ausnahme, der Zierde des Landes: Beth-Jesimoth, Baal-Meon und Kirjathaim.
10Den Söhnen des Ostens will ich es samt dem Lande der Ammoniter zum Eigentum geben, damit der Ammoniter nicht mehr gedacht wird unter den Völkern.
11An den Moabitern aber will ich (so) das Strafgericht vollstrecken, damit sie erkennen, daß ich der HERR bin!« –
12So hat Gott der HERR gesprochen: »Weil Edom mit Rachgier am Hause Juda gehandelt und sich durch Vollziehung der Rache an ihnen schwer verschuldet hat,
13darum hat Gott der HERR so gesprochen: ›Ich will meine Hand gegen Edom ausstrecken und Menschen samt Vieh in ihm ausrotten und will es zur Einöde machen; von Theman an, bis nach Dedan hin sollen sie durchs Schwert fallen!
14Ich will aber die Vollstreckung meiner Rache an Edom in die Hand meines Volkes Israel legen, daß sie mit den Edomitern so verfahren, wie es meinem Zorn und meinem Grimm entspricht, und jene meine Rache fühlen!‹« – so lautet der Ausspruch Gottes des HERRN. –
15So hat Gott der HERR gesprochen: »Weil die Philister mit Rachgier gehandelt und mit gefühllosem Herzen in nie endender Feindschaft Rache geübt haben, um Verderben anzurichten:
16darum hat Gott der HERR so gesprochen: ›Nunmehr will ich meine Hand gegen die Philister ausstrecken und die Kreter ausrotten und, was von ihnen an der Meeresküste noch übrig ist, vertilgen.
17Ja, ich will schwere Rachetaten an ihnen vollziehen durch schonungslose Züchtigungen, damit sie erkennen, daß ich der HERR bin, wenn ich sie meine Rache fühlen lasse!‹«

1Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
2Hijo del hombre, pon tu rostro hacia los hijos de Ammón, y profetiza sobre ellos.
3Y dirás á los hijos de Ammón: Oid palabra del Señor Jehová. Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto dijiste ¡Ea! acerca de mi santuario que fué profanado, y sobre la tierra de Israel que fué asolada, y sobre la casa de Judá, porque fueron en cautiverio;
4Por tanto, he aquí, yo te entrego á los Orientales por heredad, y pondrán en ti sus apriscos, y colocarán en ti sus tiendas: ellos comerán tus sementeras, y beberán tu leche.
5Y pondré á Rabba por habitación de camellos, y á los hijos de Ammón por majada de ovejas; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.
6Porque así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto tú batiste tus manos, y pateaste, y te gozaste del alma en todo tu menosprecio sobre la tierra de Israel;
7Por tanto, he aquí yo extenderé mi mano sobre ti, y te entregaré á las gentes para ser saqueada; y yo te cortaré de entre los pueblos, y te destruiré de entre las tierras: te raeré; y sabrás que yo soy Jehová.
8Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto dijo Moab y Seir: He aquí la casa de Judá es como todas las gentes;
9Por tanto, he aquí yo abro el lado de Moab desde las ciudades, desde sus ciudades que están en su confín, las tierras deseables de Beth-jesimoth, y Baal-meón, y Chîriathaim,
10A los hijos del oriente contra los hijos de Ammón; y entregaréla por heredad para que no haya más memoria de los hijos de Ammón entre las gentes.
11También en Moab haré juicios; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.
12Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por lo que hizo Edom tomando venganza de la casa de Judá, pues delinquieron en extremo, y se vengaron de ellos;
13Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Yo también extenderé mi mano sobre Edom, y talaré de ella hombres y bestias, y la asolaré: desde Temán y Dedán caerán á cuchillo.
14Y pondré mi venganza en Edom por la mano de mi pueblo Israel; y harán en Edom según mi enojo y según mi ira: y conocerán mi venganza, dice el Señor Jehová.
15Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por lo que hicieron los Palestinos con venganza, cuando se vengaron con despecho de ánimo, destruyendo por antiguas enemistades;
16Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí yo extiendo mi mano sobre los Palestinos, y talaré los Ceretheos, y destruiré el resto de la ribera de la mar.
17Y haré en ellos grandes venganzas con reprensiones de ira; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová, cuando diere mi venganza en ellos.

1The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
2Son of man, set thy face against the Ammonites, and prophesy against them;
3And say unto the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity;
4Behold, therefore I will deliver thee to the men of the east for a possession, and they shall set their palaces in thee, and make their dwellings in thee: they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk.
5And I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the Ammonites a couchingplace for flocks: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
6For thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast clapped thine hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced in heart with all thy despite against the land of Israel;
7Behold, therefore I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the heathen; and I will cut thee off from the people, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries: I will destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.
8Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the heathen;
9Therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kiriathaim,
10Unto the men of the east with the Ammonites, and will give them in possession, that the Ammonites may not be remembered among the nations.
11And I will execute judgments upon Moab; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
12Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because that Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them;
13Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword.
14And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel: and they shall do in Edom according to mine anger and according to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord GOD.
15Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy it for the old hatred;
16Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.
17And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.

1The LORD’s word came to me, saying,
2“Son of man, set your face toward the children of Ammon, and prophesy against them.
3Tell the children of Ammon, ‘Hear the word of the Lord GOD! The Lord GOD says, “Because you said, ‘Aha!’ against my sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into captivity,
4therefore, behold, I will deliver you to the children of the east for a possession. They will set their encampments in you and make their dwellings in you. They will eat your fruit and they will drink your milk.
5I will make Rabbah a stable for camels and the children of Ammon a resting place for flocks. Then you will know that I am the LORD.”
6For the Lord GOD says: “Because you have clapped your hands, stamped with the feet, and rejoiced with all the contempt of your soul against the land of Israel,
7therefore, behold, I have stretched out my hand on you, and will deliver you for a plunder to the nations. I will cut you off from the peoples, and I will cause you to perish out of the countries. I will destroy you. Then you will know that I am the LORD.”
8“‘The Lord GOD says: “Because Moab and Seir say, ‘Behold, the house of Judah is like all the nations,’
9therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on its frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and Kiriathaim,
10to the children of the east, to go against the children of Ammon; and I will give them for a possession, that the children of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations.
11I will execute judgments on Moab. Then they will know that I am the LORD.”
12“‘The Lord GOD says: “Because Edom has dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended, and taken revenge on them,”
13therefore the Lord GOD says, “I will stretch out my hand on Edom, and will cut off man and animal from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman. They will fall by the sword even to Dedan.
14I will lay my vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel. They will do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath. Then they will know my vengeance,” says the Lord GOD.
15“‘The Lord GOD says: “Because the Philistines have taken revenge, and have taken vengeance with contempt of soul to destroy with perpetual hostility,”
16therefore the Lord GOD says, “Behold, I will stretch out my hand on the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.
17I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful rebukes. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I lay my vengeance on them.”’”
