Ezequiel 24

1Im neunten Jahr, im zehnten Monat, am zehnten Tage des Monats, erging das Wort des HERRN an mich also:
2Menschensohn, schreibe dir den Namen dieses Tages auf, ja, eben dieses heutigen Tages; denn der König von Babel hat sich an eben diesem Tage auf Jerusalem geworfen!
3Und du sollst dem widerspenstigen Hause ein Gleichnis vortragen und zu ihnen sagen: So spricht Gott, der HERR: Stelle den Topf aufs Feuer, stelle ihn hin und gieße auch Wasser drein!
4Sammle die Fleischstücke dafür, alle guten Stücke, die Hüften und die Schultern, und fülle ihn mit den besten Knochen;
5nimm das Beste von der Herde und schichte auch Holzscheite darunter auf; laß es wohl sieden, damit auch seine Knochen darin wohl kochen!
6Darum spricht Gott, der HERR, also: Wehe der blutbefleckten Stadt, dem Topfe, an dem noch der Rost hängt und von dem der Rost nicht abgefegt ist! Stück um Stück hat man herausgenommen, ohne das Los darüber zu werfen!
7Denn ihr Blut ist noch mitten in ihr. Sie hat es auf einen nackten Felsen gegossen und nicht auf die Erde geschüttet, daß man es mit Staub hätte zudecken können.
8Um meinen Zorn auflodern zu lassen und Rache zu nehmen, habe ich ihr Blut auf einen nackten Felsen gießen lassen, daß man es nicht zudecken kann.
9Darum spricht Gott, der HERR, also: Wehe der blutdürstigen Stadt! Ich will eine große Belagerung veranstalten!
10Trage viel Holz zusammen, zünde das Feuer an, koche das Fleisch gar, bereite einen guten Brei, laß die Knochen anbrennen!
11Stelle darnach den leeren Topf auf die Glut, daß sein Erz heiß und glühend werde, damit seine Unreinigkeit in ihm schmelze und sein Rost verzehrt werde.
12Es ist vergebliche Mühe! Der viele Rost geht doch nicht weg, sein Rost bleibt auch im Feuer, und du begehst wieder Unzucht in deiner Unreinigkeit!
13Weil ich dich denn reinigen wollte und du dich nicht reinigen ließest, so sollst du von deiner Unreinigkeit nicht mehr gereinigt werden, bis ich meinen Zorn an dir gestillt habe!
14Ich, der HERR, habe es gesagt! Es kommt dazu, und ich werde es tun! Ich lasse nicht nach, ich schone nicht, und es soll mich auch nicht reuen. Man wird dich richten nach deinem Wandel und nach deinen Taten, spricht Gott, der HERR.
15Und das Wort des HERRN erging also an mich:
16Menschensohn, siehe, ich will die Lust deiner Augen durch eine Plage von dir wegnehmen; aber du sollst weder klagen noch weinen und keine Tränen darüber vergießen.
17Seufze still, aber veranstalte keine Totenklage! Binde deinen Kopfbund um und lege deine Schuhe an deine Füße; verhülle den Bart nicht und iß kein Trauerbrot!
18Als ich nun am Morgen früh zum Volke geredet hatte, starb mir am Abend mein Weib. Da tat ich am andern Morgen, wie mir befohlen war.
19Da sprach das Volk zu mir: Willst du uns nicht kundtun, was das für uns bedeuten soll, was du da tust?
20Ich antwortete ihnen: Das Wort des HERRN ist also an mich ergangen: Sage zu dem Hause Israel:
21So spricht Gott, der HERR: Seht, ich will mein Heiligtum, euren höchsten Stolz, die Lust eurer Augen und das Verlangen eures Herzens entheiligen; und eure Söhne und eure Töchter, die ihr zurückgelassen habt, sollen durchs Schwert fallen.
22Da werdet ihr tun, wie ich getan habe; ihr werdet den Bart nicht verhüllen und kein Trauerbrot essen.
23Ihr werdet euren Turban auf dem Kopf und eure Schuhe an euren Füßen haben; ihr werdet weder klagen noch weinen, sondern werdet über eure Missetaten trauern und miteinander seufzen.
24Und so wird euch Ezechiel zum Zeichen sein; ihr werdet durchaus tun, wie er getan hat, wenn es eintreffen wird, und so werdet ihr erfahren, daß ich Gott, der HERR, bin!
25Du aber, Menschensohn, siehe, an dem Tage, da ich ihnen ihren Ruhm, den Gegenstand ihrer Freude, die Lust ihrer Augen, das Verlangen ihrer Seelen, ihre Söhne und ihre Töchter hinwegnehme,
26an demselben Tage wird ein Flüchtling zu dir kommen, daß du es mit eigenen Ohren hören kannst.
27An demselben Tage wird dein Mund zugleich mit dem des Flüchtlings aufgetan werden, daß du reden und nicht mehr stumm sein wirst; und du wirst ihnen zum Zeichen sein, und sie sollen erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin.

1Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová en el noveno año, en el mes décimo, á los diez del mes, diciendo:
2Hijo del hombre, escríbete el nombre de este día: el rey de Babilonia se puso sobre Jerusalem este mismo día.
3Y habla á la casa de rebelión por parábola, y diles: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Pon una olla, ponla, y echa también en ella agua:
4Junta sus piezas en ella; todas buenas piezas, pierna y espalda; hínchela de huesos escogidos.
5Toma una oveja escogida; y también enciende los huesos debajo de ella; haz que hierva bien; coced también sus huesos dentro de ella.
6Pues así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: ¡Ay de la ciudad de sangres, de la olla no espumada, y cuya espuma no salió de ella! Por sus piezas, por sus piezas sácala; no caiga sobre ella suerte.
7Porque su sangre fué en medio de ella: sobre una piedra alisada la puso; no la derramó sobre la tierra para que fuese cubierta con polvo.
8Habiendo, pues, hecho subir la ira para hacer venganza, yo pondré su sangre sobre la dura piedra, para que no sea cubierta.
9Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: ¡Ay de la ciudad de sangres! Pues también haré yo gran hoguera,
10Multiplicando la leña, encendiendo el fuego, para consumir la carne, y hacer la salsa; y los huesos serán quemados:
11Asentando después la olla vacía sobre sus brasas, para que se caldee, y se queme su fondo, y se funda en ella su suciedad, y se consuma su espuma.
12En fraude se cansó, y no salió de ella su mucha espuma. En fuego será su espuma consumida.
13En tu suciedad perversa padecerás: porque te limpié, y tú no te limpiaste de tu suciedad: nunca más te limpiarás, hasta que yo haga reposar mi ira sobre ti.
14Yo Jehová he hablado; vendrá, y harélo. No me tornaré atrás, ni tendré misericordia, ni me arrepentiré: según tus caminos y tus obras te juzgarán, dice el Señor Jehová.
15Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
16Hijo del hombre, he aquí que yo te quito de golpe el deseo de tus ojos: no endeches, ni llores, ni corran tus lágrimas.
17Reprime el suspirar, no hagas luto de mortuorios: ata tu bonete sobre ti, y pon tus zapatos en tus pies, y no te cubras con rebozo, ni comas pan de hombres.
18Y hablé al pueblo por la mañana, y á la tarde murió mi mujer: y á la mañana hice como me fué mandado.
19Y díjome el pueblo: ¿No nos enseñarás qué nos significan estas cosas que tú haces?
20Y yo les dije: Palabra de Jehová fué á mí, diciendo:
21Di á la casa de Israel: Así ha dicho el Señor Dios: He aquí yo profano mi santuario, la gloria de vuestra fortaleza, el deseo de vuestros ojos, y el regalo de vuestra alma: vuestros hijos y vuestras hijas que dejasteis, caerán á cuchillo.
22Y haréis de la manera que yo hice: no os cubriréis con rebozo, ni comeréis pan de hombres;
23Y vuestros bonetes estarán sobre vuestras cabezas, y vuestros zapatos en vuestros pies: no endecharéis ni lloraréis, sino que os consumiréis á causa de vuestras maldades, y gemiréis unos con otros.
24Ezequiel pues os será por señal; según todas las cosas que él hizo, haréis: en viniendo esto, entonces sabréis que yo soy el Señor Jehová.
25Y tú, hijo del hombre, el día que yo quitaré de ellos su fortaleza, el gozo de su gloria, el deseo de sus ojos, y el cuidado de sus almas, sus hijos y sus hijas,
26Este día vendrá á ti un escapado para traer las nuevas.
27En aquel día se abrirá tu boca para hablar con el escapado, y hablarás, y no estarás más mudo; y les serás por señal, y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.

1Again in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2Son of man, write thee the name of the day, even of this same day: the king of Babylon set himself against Jerusalem this same day.
3And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Set on a pot, set it on, and also pour water into it:
4Gather the pieces thereof into it, even every good piece, the thigh, and the shoulder; fill it with the choice bones.
5Take the choice of the flock, and burn also the bones under it, and make it boil well, and let them seethe the bones of it therein.
6Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose scum is therein, and whose scum is not gone out of it! bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall upon it.
7For her blood is in the midst of her; she set it upon the top of a rock; she poured it not upon the ground, to cover it with dust;
8That it might cause fury to come up to take vengeance; I have set her blood upon the top of a rock, that it should not be covered.
9Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city! I will even make the pile for fire great.
10Heap on wood, kindle the fire, consume the flesh, and spice it well, and let the bones be burned.
11Then set it empty upon the coals thereof, that the brass of it may be hot, and may burn, and that the filthiness of it may be molten in it, that the scum of it may be consumed.
12She hath wearied herself with lies, and her great scum went not forth out of her: her scum shall be in the fire.
13In thy filthiness is lewdness: because I have purged thee, and thou wast not purged, thou shalt not be purged from thy filthiness any more, till I have caused my fury to rest upon thee.
14I the LORD have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord GOD.
15Also the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
16Son of man, behold, I take away from thee the desire of thine eyes with a stroke: yet neither shalt thou mourn nor weep, neither shall thy tears run down.
17Forbear to cry, make no mourning for the dead, bind the tire of thine head upon thee, and put on thy shoes upon thy feet, and cover not thy lips, and eat not the bread of men.
18So I spake unto the people in the morning: and at even my wife died; and I did in the morning as I was commanded.
19And the people said unto me, Wilt thou not tell us what these things are to us, that thou doest so?
20Then I answered them, The word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
21Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellency of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pitieth; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left shall fall by the sword.
22And ye shall do as I have done: ye shall not cover your lips, nor eat the bread of men.
23And your tires shall be upon your heads, and your shoes upon your feet: ye shall not mourn nor weep; but ye shall pine away for your iniquities, and mourn one toward another.
24Thus Ezekiel is unto you a sign: according to all that he hath done shall ye do: and when this cometh, ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
25Also, thou son of man, shall it not be in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that whereupon they set their minds, their sons and their daughters,
26That he that escapeth in that day shall come unto thee, to cause thee to hear it with thine ears?
27In that day shall thy mouth be opened to him which is escaped, and thou shalt speak, and be no more dumb: and thou shalt be a sign unto them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

1Again, in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, the LORD’s word came to me, saying,
2“Son of man, write the name of the day, this same day. The king of Babylon drew close to Jerusalem this same day.
3Utter a parable to the rebellious house, and tell them, ‘The Lord GOD says, “Put the cauldron on the fire. Put it on, and also pour water into it.
4Gather its pieces into it, even every good piece: the thigh and the shoulder. Fill it with the choice bones.
5Take the choice of the flock, and also a pile of wood for the bones under the cauldron. Make it boil well. Yes, let its bones be boiled within it.”
6“‘Therefore the Lord GOD says: “Woe to the bloody city, to the cauldron whose rust is in it, and whose rust hasn’t gone out of it! Take out of it piece after piece without casting lots for it.
7“‘“For the blood she shed is in the middle of her. She set it on the bare rock. She didn’t pour it on the ground, to cover it with dust.
8That it may cause wrath to come up to take vengeance, I have set her blood on the bare rock, that it should not be covered.”
9“‘Therefore the Lord GOD says: “Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.
10Heap on the wood. Make the fire hot. Boil the meat well. Make the broth thick, and let the bones be burned.
11Then set it empty on its coals, that it may be hot, and its bronze may burn, and that its filthiness may be molten in it, that its rust may be consumed.
12She is weary with toil; yet her great rust, rust by fire, doesn’t leave her.
13“‘“In your filthiness is lewdness. Because I have cleansed you and you weren’t cleansed, you won’t be cleansed from your filthiness any more, until I have caused my wrath toward you to rest.
14“‘“I, the LORD, have spoken it. It will happen, and I will do it. I won’t go back. I won’t spare. I won’t repent. According to your ways and according to your doings, they will judge you,” says the Lord GOD.’”
15Also the LORD’s word came to me, saying,
16“Son of man, behold, I will take away from you the desire of your eyes with one stroke; yet you shall neither mourn nor weep, neither shall your tears run down.
17Sigh, but not aloud. Make no mourning for the dead. Bind your headdress on you, and put your sandals on your feet. Don’t cover your lips, and don’t eat mourner’s bread.”
18So I spoke to the people in the morning, and at evening my wife died. So I did in the morning as I was commanded.
19The people asked me, “Won’t you tell us what these things mean to us, that you act like this?”
20Then I said to them, “The LORD’s word came to me, saying,
21‘Speak to the house of Israel, “The Lord GOD says: ‘Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the pride of your power, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pities; and your sons and your daughters whom you have left behind will fall by the sword.
22You will do as I have done. You won’t cover your lips or eat mourner’s bread.
23Your turbans will be on your heads, and your sandals on your feet. You won’t mourn or weep; but you will pine away in your iniquities, and moan one toward another.
24Thus Ezekiel will be a sign to you; according to all that he has done, you will do. When this comes, then you will know that I am the Lord GOD.’”’”
25“You, son of man, shouldn’t it be in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that whereupon they set their heart—their sons and their daughters—
26that in that day he who escapes will come to you, to cause you to hear it with your ears?
27In that day your mouth will be opened to him who has escaped, and you will speak and be no more mute. So you will be a sign to them. Then they will know that I am the LORD.”
