Menschensohn, siehe, ich will dir die Lust deiner Augen wegnehmen durch jähen Tod; aber du sollst nicht klagen und weinen und keine Tränen darüber vergiessen.

Hijo del hombre, he aquí que yo te quito de golpe el deseo de tus ojos: no endeches, ni llores, ni corran tus lágrimas.

Son of man, behold, I take away from thee the desire of thine eyes with a stroke: yet neither shalt thou mourn nor weep, neither shall thy tears run down.
