28Nachdem ich sie nämlich in das Land gebracht hatte, dessen Verleihung ich ihnen zugeschworen hatte, da schlachteten sie, wo immer sie einen hohen Hügel und einen dichtbelaubten Baum erblickt hatten, daselbst ihre Opfertiere, brachten dort ihre Gaben zu meiner Kränkung dar, ließen daselbst ihre lieblichen Weihrauchdüfte aufsteigen und gossen dort ihre Trankopfer aus.
