Ma la casa d'Israele mi provocò ad ira nel deserto, non camminarono ne' miei comandamenti, e rigettarono le mie leggi, nelle quali ha vita chi le osserva, e violarono grandemente i miei sabati. Determinai perciò di spandere il furor mio sopra di loro nel deserto, e di consumarli.
Mas rebeláronse contra mí la casa de Israel en el desierto; no anduvieron en mis ordenanzas, y desecharon mis derechos, los cuales el hombre que los hiciere, vivirá en ellos; y mis sábados profanaron en gran manera; dije, por tanto, que había de derramar sobre ellos mi ira en el desierto para consumirlos.
But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they walked not in my statutes, and they despised my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; and my sabbaths they greatly polluted: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them.
