Ezequiel 1

En el año treinta, el cuarto mes, y el quinto día del mes, ocurrió que yo estaba viviendo entre los cautivos cerca del Canal Quebar. Los cielos se abrieron, y yo vi visiones de Dios.

Y FUÉ que á los treinta años, en el mes cuarto, á cinco del mes, estando yo en medio de los trasportados junto al río de Chebar, los cielos se abrieron, y vi visiones de Dios.

Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.

la palabra del SEÑOR vino a Ezequiel hijo de Buzi el sacerdote, en la tierra de los caldeos cerca del Canal de Quebar, y la mano del SEÑOR estaba sobre él allí.

Fué palabra de Jehová á Ezequiel sacerdote, hijo de Buzi, en la tierra de los Caldeos, junto al río de Chebar; fué allí sobre él la mano de Jehová.

The word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him.

Entonces yo miré, y había una tormenta huracanada que venía del norte; una gran nube con fuego relampagueando dentro de ella y una brillantez rodeándola y dentro de ella, y dentro de la nube el fuego era de color ámbar.

Y miré, y he aquí un viento tempestuoso venía del aquilón, una gran nube, con un fuego envolvente, y en derredor suyo un resplandor, y en medio del fuego una cosa que parecía como de ámbar,

And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.

En el centro estaba el aspecto de cuatro seres vivientes. Esta era su apariencia: tenían la apariencia de un hombre,

Y en medio de ella, figura de cuatro animales. Y este era su parecer; había en ellos semejanza de hombre.

pero tenían cuatro rostros cada uno, y cada una de las criaturas tenían cuatro alas.

Sus piernas eran derechas, pero las plantas de sus pies eran como las pezuñas de un ternero que brillaba como bronce pulido.

Pero aun así ellas tenían manos humanas debajo de sus alas en todos los cuatro lados. Para todos los cuatro, sus rostros y alas eran así:

And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings.

El aspecto de sus rostros era como el rostro de un hombre. Los cuatro de ellos tenían el rostro de un león al lado derecho, y cuatro de ellos tenían el rostro de un buey en el lado izquierdo. Los cuatro también tenían el rostro de un águila.

Y la figura de sus rostros era rostro de hombre; y rostro de león á la parte derecha en los cuatro; y á la izquierda rostro de buey en los cuatro; asimismo había en los cuatro rostro de águila.

As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.

Sus rostros eran así, y sus alas estaban extendidas hacia arriba, así que cada criatura tenía un par de alas que tocaba el ala de otra criatura, y también un par de alas que cubrían sus cuerpos.

Thus were their faces: and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.

Cada uno iba hacia adelante, así que dondequiera que el Espíritu los dirigía ir, ellos iban sin volverse.

Y cada uno caminaba en derecho de su rostro: hacia donde el espíritu era que anduviesen, andaban; cuando andaban, no se volvían.

And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they went; and they turned not when they went.

En cuanto al aspecto de los seres vivientes, su apariencia era como brasas de fuego ardiendo, como la apariencia de antorchas; fuego brillante también se movía entre las criaturas, y había destellos de rayos.

Cuanto á la semejanza de los animales, su parecer era como de carbones de fuego encendidos, como parecer de hachones encendidos: discurría entre los animales; y el fuego resplandecía, y del fuego salían relámpagos.

As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.

¡Las criaturas vivientes se estaban moviendo suavemente hacia atrás y hacia adelante, y tenían la apariencia de rayos!

Y los animales corrían y tornaban á semejanza de relámpagos.

Entonces miré a las criaturas vivientes; había una rueda en el suelo al lado de las criaturas vivientes.

Y estando yo mirando los animales, he aquí una rueda en la tierra junto á los animales, á sus cuatro caras.

Esta era la apariencia y estructura de las ruedas: cada rueda era como el berilo, y las cuatro tenían el mismo aspecto; su apariencia y estructura era como una rueda dentro de otra rueda.

Y el parecer de las ruedas y su obra semejábase al color del topacio. Y las cuatro tenían una misma semejanza: su apariencia y su obra como rueda en medio de rueda.

The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.

Cuando las ruedas se movían, ellas iban sin girar en ninguna dirección que las criaturas iban.

En cuanto a sus llantas, eran altas y temibles, porque las llantas estaban llenas de ojos alrededdor.

Y sus cercos eran altos y espantosos, y llenos de ojos alrededor en las cuatro.

As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four.

Dondequiera que las criaturas vivientes se movían, las ruedas se movían al lado de ellas. Cuando las criaturas vivientes se alzaban de la tierra, las ruedas también se alzaban.

Y cuando los animales andaban, las ruedas andaban junto á ellos: y cuando los animales se levantaban de la tierra, las ruedas se levantaban.

And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.

Dondequiera que el Espíritu se movía, ellas iban, y las ruedas se alzaban al lado de ellas, por cuanto el espíritu de las criaturas vivientes estaba en las ruedas.

Hacia donde el espíritu era que anduviesen, andaban; hacia donde era el espíritu que anduviesen, las ruedas también se levantaban tras ellos; porque el espíritu de los animales estaba en las ruedas.

Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

Sobre las cabezas de los criaturas vivientes estaba el aspecto de una extensa cúpula; parecía como un cristal impresionante que se extendía sobre sus cabezas.

Y sobre las cabezas de cada animal aparecía expansión á manera de cristal maravilloso, extendido encima sobre sus cabezas.

And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.

Over the head of the living creature there was the likeness of an expanse, like an awesome crystal to look at, stretched out over their heads above.

Debajo de la cúplula, cada una de las alas de las criaturas se extendían derechas y tocaban el ala de otra criatura. Cada una de las criaturas vivientes también tenían un par de alas para cubrirse ellas mismas; cada una tenía un par de alas para cubrir su propio cuerpo.

Y debajo de la expansión estaban las alas de ellos derechas la una á la otra; á cada uno dos, y otras dos con que se cubrían sus cuerpos.

And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one toward the other: every one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side, their bodies.

Entonces escuché el sonido de sus alas. Como el ruido de muchas aguas. Como la voz del Todopoderoso dondequiera que ellos se movían. Como el sonido de vientos huracanados. Como el sonido de un ejército. Dondequiera que se detenían, ellos bajaban sus alas.

Y oí el sonido de sus alas cuando andaban, como sonido de muchas aguas, como la voz del Omnipotente, como ruido de muchedumbre, como la voz de un ejército. Cuando se paraban, aflojaban sus alas.

And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of an host: when they stood, they let down their wings.

Una voz venía desde lo alto de la cúpula sobre sus cabezas, dondequiera que se detenían y bajaban sus alas.

Y cuando se paraban y aflojaban sus alas, oíase voz de arriba de la expansión que había sobre sus cabezas.

And there was a voice from the firmament that was over their heads, when they stood, and had let down their wings.

Por encima de la cúpula sobre sus cabezas estaba el aspecto de un trono que era como la apariencia de una piedra de zafiro, y en el aspecto del trono estaba el aspecto como la apariencia de un hombre.

Y sobre la expansión que había sobre sus cabezas, veíase la figura de un trono que parecía de piedra de zafiro; y sobre la figura del trono había una semejanza que parecía de hombre sentado sobre él.

And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.

Yo vi una figura con la apariencia de metal brillante, con fuego desde la apariencia de sus caderas; yo vi de la apariencia de sus caderas hacia abajo la apariencia de fuego y brillantez alrededor.

Y vi apariencia como de ámbar, como apariencia de fuego dentro de ella en contorno, por el aspecto de sus lomos para arriba; y desde sus lomos para abajo, vi que parecía como fuego, y que tenía resplandor alrededor.

And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about.

Como la apariencia de un arcoiris en las nubes en un día lluvioso, estaba la apariencia de una luz brillante rodeándola. Era la apariencia del aspecto de la gloria del SEÑOR. Cuando yo la vi, me caí sobre mi rostro, y escuché una voz hablando.

Cual parece el arco del cielo que está en las nubes el día que llueve, así era el parecer del resplandor alrededor. Esta fué la visión de la semejanza de la gloria de Jehová. Y luego que yo la hube visto, caí sobre mi rostro, y oí voz de uno que hablaba.

As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.

As the appearance of the rainbow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness all around. This was the appearance of the likeness of the LORD’s glory. When I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke.
