Er hauste übel in den Wohnstätten, machte öde die Städte; es entsetzte sich das Land und was darin war, vor seinem lauten Gebrüll.

Y conoció sus viudas, y asoló sus ciudades; y la tierra fué asolada, y su abundancia, á la voz de su bramido.

And he knew their desolate palaces, and he laid waste their cities; and the land was desolate, and the fulness thereof, by the noise of his roaring.
