Y dirás: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Una grande águila, de grandes alas y de largos miembros, llena de plumas de diversos colores, vino al Líbano, y tomó el cogollo del cedro:
And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; A great eagle with great wings, longwinged, full of feathers, which had divers colours, came unto Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar:
and say, ‘The Lord GOD says: “A great eagle with great wings and long feathers, full of feathers which had various colors, came to Lebanon and took the top of the cedar.
und brach den obersten ihrer Zweige ab; er brachte ihn in das Krämerland und setzte ihn in eine Händlerstadt.

Sprich: So spricht Gott der Herr: Wird er gedeihen? Wird jener nicht seine Wurzeln ausreissen und seine Früchte abschneiden, dass alle seine sprossenden Blätter verdorren? Und nicht wird ihm Hilfe werden durch starken Arm und durch viel Volk an dem Tage, da man ihn aus seinen Wurzeln hebt.
Di: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: ¿Será prosperada? ¿No arrancará sus raíces, y destruirá su fruto, y secaráse? Todas las hojas de su lozanía secará, y no con gran brazo, ni con mucha gente, arrancándola de sus raíces.
Say thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Shall it prosper? shall he not pull up the roots thereof, and cut off the fruit thereof, that it wither? it shall wither in all the leaves of her spring, even without great power or many people to pluck it up by the roots thereof.
“Say, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Will it prosper? Won’t he pull up its roots and cut off its fruit, that it may wither, that all its fresh springing leaves may wither? It can’t be raised from its roots by a strong arm or many people.
Siehe, wohl ist er gepflanzt - wird er aber gedeihen? Wird er nicht, sobald ihn der Ostwind berührt, verdorren? verdorren auf den Beeten, darinnen er aufsprosste?

Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Sprich doch zu dem widerspenstigen Geschlechte: Versteht ihr nicht, was dies bedeutet? Sprich: Siehe, es kam der König von Babel nach Jerusalem, nahm seinen König und seine Fürsten und brachte sie zu sich nach Babel.
Di ahora á la casa rebelde: ¿No habéis entendido qué significan estas cosas? Diles: He aquí que el rey de Babilonia vino á Jerusalem, y tomó tu rey y sus príncipes, y llevólos consigo á Babilonia.
Say now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these things mean? tell them, Behold, the king of Babylon is come to Jerusalem, and hath taken the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and led them with him to Babylon;

Und er nahm einen Sprössling des Königshauses und schloss einen Vertrag mit ihm; er liess sich von ihm einen Eid schwören, und die Grossen des Landes nahm er mit fort,

And hath taken of the king’s seed, and made a covenant with him, and hath taken an oath of him: he hath also taken the mighty of the land:

damit das Königtum niedrig bleibe und sich nicht wieder erhebe, damit es den Vertrag mit ihm halte, um bestehen zu bleiben.
Para que el reino fuese abatido y no se levantase, sino que guardase su alianza y estuviese en ella.

Vivo yo, dice el Señor Jehová, que morirá en medio de Babilonia, en el lugar del rey que le hizo reinar, cuyo juramento menospreció, y cuya alianza con él hecha rompió.
As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely in the place where the king dwelleth that made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he brake, even with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die.
“‘As I live,’ says the Lord GOD, ‘surely in the place where the king dwells who made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he broke, even with him in the middle of Babylon he will die.

Er hat ja den Eid missachtet und den Vertrag gebrochen. Wahrlich, er hat seine Hand gegeben und doch dies alles getan - er wird nicht davonkommen.
Pues menospreció el juramento, para invalidar el concierto cuando he aquí que había dado su mano, é hizo todas estas cosas, no escapará.
Seeing he despised the oath by breaking the covenant, when, lo, he had given his hand, and hath done all these things, he shall not escape.

So spricht Gott der Herr: Dann will ich selbst nach dem hohen Wipfel der Zeder greifen, ein zartes Reis will ich brechen von dem obersten ihrer Zweige, und ich selbst will es pflanzen auf einem hohen, ragenden Berg, (a) Jes 11:1; Jer 23:5
Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Y tomaré yo del cogollo de aquel alto cedro, y pondrélo; del principal de sus renuevos cortaré un tallo, y plantarlo he yo sobre el monte alto y sublime;
Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also take of the highest branch of the high cedar, and will set it; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and will plant it upon an high mountain and eminent:
“The Lord GOD says: ‘I will also take some of the lofty top of the cedar, and will plant it. I will crop off from the topmost of its young twigs a tender one, and I will plant it on a high and lofty mountain.
auf dem hohen Berge Israels will ich es pflanzen. Und es wird Zweige treiben und Frucht tragen und zu einer herrlichen Zeder werden. Allerlei Getier wird unter ihr lagern, und allerlei Vögel werden im Schatten ihrer Zweige wohnen.
En el monte alto de Israel lo plantaré, y alzará ramos, y llevará fruto, y haráse magnífico cedro; y habitarán debajo de él todas las aves, toda cosa que vuela habitará á la sombra de sus ramos.
In the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it: and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all fowl of every wing; in the shadow of the branches thereof shall they dwell.
I will plant it in the mountain of the height of Israel; and it will produce boughs, and bear fruit, and be a good cedar. Birds of every kind will dwell in the shade of its branches.
