Ezequiel 17

Imperocché quegli avea sprezzato il giuramento, e rotta l'alleanza, ed ecco dà mano ad un'altra; e dopo aver fatto tutto questo non iscamperà.

Pues menospreció el juramento, para invalidar el concierto cuando he aquí que había dado su mano, é hizo todas estas cosas, no escapará.

Seeing he despised the oath by breaking the covenant, when, lo, he had given his hand, and hath done all these things, he shall not escape.

For he has despised the oath by breaking the covenant; and behold, he had given his hand, and yet has done all these things. He won’t escape.
