16So wahr ich lebe!‹ – so lautet der Ausspruch Gottes des HERRN –, ›an dem Wohnsitz des Königs, der ihn zum Herrscher gemacht, dem er den Eid nicht gehalten hat und gegen den er vertragsbrüchig geworden ist, bei diesem soll er sterben mitten in Babylon!

16As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely in the place where the king dwelleth that made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he brake, even with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die.
