Ezequiel 16

That thou couldst have built thy brothel at the head of every road, And thy height, couldst have made in every broadway,- Yet becamest not as a harlot to lay claim to a harlot’s hire.

Edificando tus altares en cabeza de todo camino, y haciendo tus altares en todas las plazas! Y no fuiste semejante á ramera, menospreciando el salario,

In that thou buildest thine eminent place in the head of every way, and makest thine high place in every street; and hast not been as an harlot, in that thou scornest hire;

in that you build your vaulted place at the head of every way, and make your lofty place in every street, and have not been as a prostitute, in that you scorn pay.
