Ezequiel 13

Perchè eglino han gabbato il mio popolo, dicendo: Pace, e la pace non è: e quegli fabbricava un muro, e quelli lo intonacavano con loto, senza mistura di paglia.

Por tanto, y por cuanto engañaron á mi pueblo, diciendo, Paz, no habiendo paz; y el uno edificaba la pared, y he aquí que los otros la encostraban con lodo suelto;

Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter:

“‘Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, “Peace;” and there is no peace. When one builds up a wall, behold, they plaster it with whitewash.
