Y dijo el Señor a Moisés: Anda ve al faraón, y dile: Esto dice el Señor Dios de los hebreos: Deja salir a mi pueblo para que me ofrezca sacrificios.
ENTONCES Jehová dijo á Moisés: Entra á Faraón, y dile: Jehová, el Dios de los Hebreos, dice así: Deja ir á mi pueblo, para que me sirvan;
Then the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh, and tell him, ‘This is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says: “Let my people go, that they may serve me.
Porque si le resistes aún y le detienes,
Porque si no lo quieres dejar ir, y los detuvieres aún,
For if thou refuse to let them go, and wilt hold them still,
For if you refuse to let them go, and hold them still,
mira que mi mano descargará sobre tus campos; y enviaré sobre caballos, y asnos, y camellos, y bueyes y ovejas, una cruel peste.
He aquí la mano de Jehová será sobre tus ganados que están en el campo, caballos, asnos, camellos, vacas y ovejas, con pestilencia gravísima:
Behold, the hand of the LORD is upon thy cattle which is in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels, upon the oxen, and upon the sheep: there shall be a very grievous murrain.

Y hará el Señor esta distinción milagrosa entre los bienes de Israel y los bienes de los egipcios, que no perecerá nada de lo que pertenece a los hijos de Israel.
Y Jehová hará separación entre los ganados de Israel y los de Egipto, de modo que nada muera de todo lo de los hijos de Israel.
And the LORD shall sever between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt: and there shall nothing die of all that is the children’s of Israel.

Y el Señor fijó el plazo, diciendo: Mañana ejecutará el Señor en la tierra este prodigio.

And the LORD appointed a set time, saying, To morrow the LORD shall do this thing in the land.

Así lo hizo el Señor al día siguiente, y murieron todos los animales de los egipcios; pero de los animales de los israelitas, ni uno siquiera pereció.
Y el día siguiente Jehová hizo aquello, y murió todo el ganado de Egipto; mas del ganado de los hijos de Israel no murió uno.
And the LORD did that thing on the morrow, and all the cattle of Egypt died: but of the cattle of the children of Israel died not one.

Y envió el faraón a verlo; y se halló que nada había muerto de lo que poseía Israel. Mas el corazón del faraón se endureció, y no soltó al pueblo.

And Pharaoh sent, and, behold, there was not one of the cattle of the Israelites dead. And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he did not let the people go.

Dijo entonces el Señor a Moisés y a Aarón: Coged puñados de cenizas de un fogón, y espárzala Moisés hacia el cielo en presencia del faraón,
Y Jehová dijo á Moisés y á Aarón: Tomad puñados de ceniza de un horno, y espárzala Moisés hacia el cielo delante de Faraón:
And the LORD said unto Moses and unto Aaron, Take to you handfuls of ashes of the furnace, and let Moses sprinkle it toward the heaven in the sight of Pharaoh.

y extiéndase este polvo por todo Egipto; de que resultarán úlceras y tumores apostemados en hombres y animales por todo el país de Egipto.
Y vendrá á ser polvo sobre toda la tierra de Egipto, el cual originará sarpullido que cause tumores apostemados en los hombres y en las bestias, por todo el país de Egipto.
And it shall become small dust in all the land of Egypt, and shall be a boil breaking forth with blains upon man, and upon beast, throughout all the land of Egypt.

Cogieron, pues, ceniza de un fogón y se presentaron al faraón, y Moisés la esparció hacia el cielo; y luego sobrevinieron úlceras de tumores apostemados en hombres y animales.
Y tomaron la ceniza del horno, y pusiéronse delante de Faraón, y esparcióla Moisés hacia el cielo; y vino un sarpullido que causaba tumores apostemados así en los hombres como en las bestias.

Ni los hechiceros podían comparecer delante de Moisés, a causa de las úlceras que padecían, igual que todos los demás egipcios.

No obstante, dijo el Señor a Moisés: Levántate de mañana y preséntate al faraón y le dirás: Esto dice el Señor Dios de los hebreos: Dejad que vaya mi pueblo a ofrecerme sacrificios.

Porque esta vez he de enviar todas mis plagas sobre tu corazón, y sobre tus siervos y sobre tu pueblo; para que sepas que no hay semejante a mí en toda la tierra.
Porque yo enviaré esta vez todas mis plagas á tu corazón, sobre tus siervos, y sobre tu pueblo, para que entiendas que no hay otro como yo en toda la tierra.
For I will at this time send all my plagues upon thine heart, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people; that thou mayest know that there is none like me in all the earth.
For this time I will send all my plagues against your heart, against your officials, and against your people; that you may know that there is no one like me in all the earth.
Pues esta vez, extendiendo mi mano te castigaré a ti y a tu pueblo con mortal pestilencia, y serás exterminado de la tierra.
Porque ahora yo extenderé mi mano para herirte á ti y á tu pueblo de pestilencia, y serás quitado de la tierra.
For now I will stretch out my hand, that I may smite thee and thy people with pestilence; and thou shalt be cut off from the earth.

Que a este fin te he conservado o sufrido para mostrar en ti mi poderío, por donde mi nombre sea celebrado en todo el mundo.
Y á la verdad yo te he puesto para declarar en ti mi potencia, y que mi Nombre sea contado en toda la tierra.
And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew in thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.
but indeed for this cause I have made you stand: to show you my power, and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth,
¿Y aún retienes tú a mi pueblo, y no quieres dejarle ir?
¿Todavía te ensalzas tú contra mi pueblo, para no dejarlos ir?
As yet exaltest thou thyself against my people, that thou wilt not let them go?
because you still exalt yourself against my people, that you won’t let them go.
Pues mira, mañana a esta misma hora, haré llover un horrible pedrisco, tal cual nunca se ha visto en Egipto desde que comenzó a ser habitado, hasta el presente.
He aquí que mañana á estas horas yo haré llover granizo muy grave, cual nunca fué en Egipto, desde el día que se fundó hasta ahora.
Behold, to morrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as hath not been in Egypt since the foundation thereof even until now.

Por eso desde ahora envía y recoge tus bestias, y todo cuanto tienes en el campo; porque hombres y bestias, y todo lo que se hallare al descubierto y no se hubiere retirado de los campos, cayendo sobre ellos el pedrisco, todo perecerá.
Envía, pues, á recoger tu ganado, y todo lo que tienes en el campo; porque todo hombre ó animal que se hallare en el campo, y no fuere recogido á casa, el granizo descenderá sobre él, y morirá.
Send therefore now, and gather thy cattle, and all that thou hast in the field; for upon every man and beast which shall be found in the field, and shall not be brought home, the hail shall come down upon them, and they shall die.
Now therefore command that all of your livestock and all that you have in the field be brought into shelter. The hail will come down on every man and animal that is found in the field, and isn’t brought home, and they will die.”’”
Aquel que entre los siervos del faraón temió la palabra del Señor, hizo retirar a casa sus criados y bestias.
De los siervos de Faraón el que temió la palabra de Jehová, hizo huir sus criados y su ganado á casa:
He that feared the word of the LORD among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses:
Those who feared the LORD’s word among the servants of Pharaoh made their servants and their livestock flee into the houses.
El que no hizo caso de lo que dijo el Señor, dejó a sus criados y bestias en el campo.
Mas el que no puso en su corazón la palabra de Jehová, dejó sus criados y sus ganados en el campo.
And he that regarded not the word of the LORD left his servants and his cattle in the field.
Whoever didn’t respect the LORD’s word left his servants and his livestock in the field.
Dijo, pues, el Señor a Moisés: Extiende tu mano hacia el cielo, para que caiga un pedrisco en toda la tierra de Egipto sobre hombres y sobre bestias, y sobre toda hierba del campo en Egipto.
Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Extiende tu mano hacia el cielo, para que venga granizo en toda la tierra de Egipto sobre los hombres, y sobre las bestias, y sobre toda la hierba del campo en el país de Egipto.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch forth thine hand toward heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man, and upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt.
The LORD said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward the sky, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, on man, and on animal, and on every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt.”
Extendió luego Moisés la vara hacia el cielo, y el Señor despidió truenos, y granizo, y centellas que discurrían sobre la tierra. E hizo llover el Señor piedra sobre el país de Egipto.
Y Moisés extendió su vara hacia el cielo, y Jehová hizo tronar y granizar, y el fuego discurría por la tierra; y llovió Jehová granizo sobre la tierra de Egipto.
And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt.

Y la piedra y el fuego caían mezclados entre sí: y fue la piedra de tal tamaño, cual no se vio jamás antes en toda la tierra de Egipto, desde el establecimiento de aquella nación.
Hubo pues granizo, y fuego mezclado con el granizo, tan grande, cual nunca hubo en toda la tierra de Egipto desde que fué habitada.
So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.

Rogad al Señor que cesen esos terribles truenos y pedrisco, para que yo os deje ir, y de ninguna manera os detengáis aquí más tiempo.
Orad á Jehová: y cesen los truenos de Dios y el granizo; y yo os dejaré ir, y no os detendréis más.
Intreat the LORD (for it is enough) that there be no more mighty thunderings and hail; and I will let you go, and ye shall stay no longer.

Respondió Moisés: Saliendo de la ciudad, alzaré mis manos al Señor, y cesarán los truenos, y no caerá más piedra; para que sepas que la tierra es del Señor.
Y respondióle Moisés: En saliendo yo de la ciudad extenderé mis manos á Jehová, y los truenos cesarán, y no habrá más granizo; para que sepas que de Jehová es la tierra.
And Moses said unto him, As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands unto the LORD; and the thunder shall cease, neither shall there be any more hail; that thou mayest know how that the earth is the LORD’s.
Moses said to him, “As soon as I have gone out of the city, I will spread out my hands to the LORD. The thunders shall cease, and there will not be any more hail; that you may know that the earth is the LORD’s.
Pero yo conozco que ni tú, ni tus siervos teméis al Señor Dios.

Es de notar que el lino y la cebada se perdieron; por cuanto la cebada estaba espigada y el lino granaba ya.
El lino, pues, y la cebada fueron heridos; porque la cebada estaba ya espigada, y el lino en caña.
And the flax and the barley was smitten: for the barley was in the ear, and the flax was bolled.
The flax and the barley were struck, for the barley had ripened and the flax was blooming.
Pero el trigo y la espelta no padecieron, por ser tardíos.

Despedido Moisés del faraón, así que salió de la ciudad alzó las manos hacia el Señor, y cesaron los truenos y el pedrisco; ni cayó más gota de agua sobre la tierra.
Y salido Moisés de con Faraón de la ciudad, extendió sus manos á Jehová, y cesaron los truenos y el granizo; y la lluvia no cayó más sobre la tierra.
