1Dijo todavía el Señor a Moisés: Preséntate al faraón y le dirás: Esto dice el Señor: Deja ir a mi pueblo para que me ofrezca sacrificios.
2Que si no quieres dejarle ir, mira que voy a castigar todas tus provincias con ranas.
3Y criará el río tanta rana, que subirán y se meterán por tu casa, y entrarán en el aposento donde duermes y en tu misma cama, como también en las casas de tus servidores, y en las de todo tu pueblo, y hasta en tus hornos y en los repuestos de tus viandas.
4Y serás atormentado de las ranas tú, y tu pueblo y todos tus servidores.
5Dijo, pues, el Señor a Moisés: Dile a Aarón: Extiende tu mano sobre los ríos y sobre los arroyos y las lagunas, y haz salir ranas sobre la tierra de Egipto.
6Extendió Aarón su mano sobre las aguas de Egipto, y salieron fuera las ranas, y cubrieron el territorio de Egipto.
7Hicieron también los magos una cosa semejante con sus encantamientos, e hicieron salir ranas sobre la tierra de Egipto.
8Pero el faraón llamó a Moisés y a Aarón y les dijo: Rogad al Señor que aparte las ranas de mí y del pueblo mío, que yo dejaré ir a vuestro pueblo, para que ofrezca sacrificios al Señor.
9Dijo entonces Moisés al faraón: Determina tú el tiempo en que yo he de interceder por ti, por tus siervos y por tu pueblo, para que las ranas sean echadas lejos de ti y de tu palacio, y de tus criados y de tu pueblo, y queden solamente en el río.
10Respondió el faraón: Mañana. Bien está, dijo Moisés, lo haré según pides, para que sepas que nadie hay como el Señor Dios nuestro.
11Y se retirarán las ranas de ti, y de tu palacio, y de tus siervos y de tu pueblo, y solamente quedarán en el río.
12Dicho esto se despidieron del faraón Moisés y Aarón; y Moisés clamó al Señor por el cumplimiento de la promesa que él había hecho al faraón tocante a las ranas.
13Y cumplió el Señor la palabra de Moisés, y así murieron todas las ranas de las casas, y de las granjas y de los campos,
14y las juntaron en inmensos montones: con lo que quedó la tierra llena de hediondez o mal olor.
15Mas el faraón, viéndose libre del mal, endureció su corazón, y no dio oídos a Moisés y Aarón, como el Señor lo había dispuesto o predicho.
16Dijo, pues, el Señor a Moisés: Di a Aarón que extienda su vara y hiera el polvo de la tierra, para que nazcan mosquitos en todo el territorio de Egipto.
17Lo hicieron así, y extendió Aarón la vara que tenía en la mano, e hirió el polvo de la tierra, y hombres y bestias quedaron infestados de mosquitos, y todo el polvo de la tierra se convirtió en mosquitos por todo el país de Egipto.
18Procuraron también los encantadores con sus hechizos producir mosquitos, y no pudieron. Entretanto los mosquitos infestaban así a los hombres como a las bestias.
19Y dijeron los hechiceros al faraón: Es el dedo de Dios el que aquí obra. Pero se endureció el corazón del faraón y no escuchó a Moisés ni a Aarón, como el Señor había dispuesto o predicho.
20Dijo todavía el Señor a Moisés: Levántate de madrugada y preséntate al faraón, porque ha de salir a las aguas o al río, y le dirás: Esto dice el Señor: Deja ir a mi pueblo para que me ofrezca sacrificios.
21Porque si no lo dejas ir, mira que yo enviaré contra ti, contra tus siervos y contra tu pueblo y contra tus casas, todo género de moscas; y las habitaciones de los egipcios, y todos los parajes donde moraren, se llenarán de moscas de diferentes especies.
22Y en el mismo día haré que la tierra de Gesén, donde habita mi pueblo, sea maravillosa, no habiendo en ella ninguna de esas moscas; a fin de que entiendas que yo el Señor habito en medio de aquellas tierras.
23Yo haré distinción entre mi pueblo y el tuyo: mañana se verá este prodigio.
24Y así lo hizo el Señor. Enjambres de moscas molestísimas y dañinas vinieron a las casas del faraón y de sus criados, y a toda la tierra de Egipto, y quedó el país infestado de tales moscas.
25Llamó entonces el faraón a Moisés y Aarón, y les dijo: Id, y sacrificad a vuestro Dios, sin salir de esta tierra.
26No puede ser eso, respondió Moisés, por cuanto hemos de sacrificar al Señor Dios nuestro, animales, que entre los egipcios es un sacrilegio el matarlos. Pues si delante de sus ojos matáramos aquellos animales que ellos adoran, nos apedrearían como sacrílegos.
27Andaremos camino de tres días al desierto, y allí ofreceremos sacrificios al Señor Dios nuestro, como nos lo tiene ordenado.
28A lo que dijo el faraón: Yo os dejaré ir a ofrecer sacrificios en el desierto al Señor Dios vuestro, con tal que no vayáis más lejos; rogad por mí.
29Y dijo Moisés: Saliendo de tu presencia oraré al Señor, y mañana las moscas se alejarán del faraón, de sus siervos y de su pueblo; pero no quieras engañame ya más, impidiendo que el pueblo vaya a ofrecer sacrificios al Señor.
30Despedido Moisés del faraón, oró al Señor,
31el cual cumplió la promesa de Moisés, y arrojó las moscas lejos del faraón, de sus siervos y de su pueblo, sin que quedase una siquiera.
32Mas se endureció también el corazón del faraón, de suerte que tampoco esta vez dejó salir al pueblo.

1ENTONCES Jehová dijo á Moisés: Entra á Faraón, y dile: Jehová ha dicho así: Deja ir á mi pueblo, para que me sirvan.
2Y si no lo quisieres dejar ir, he aquí yo heriré con ranas todos tus términos:
3Y el río criará ranas, las cuales subirán, y entrarán en tu casa, y en la cámara de tu cama, y sobre tu cama, y en las casas de tus siervos, y en tu pueblo, y en tus hornos, y en tus artesas:
4Y las ranas subirán sobre ti, y sobre tu pueblo, y sobre todos tus siervos.
5Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Di á Aarón: Extiende tu mano con tu vara sobre los ríos, arroyos, y estanques, para que haga venir ranas sobre la tierra de Egipto.
6Entonces Aarón extendió su mano sobre las aguas de Egipto, y subieron ranas que cubrieron la tierra de Egipto.
7Y los encantadores hicieron lo mismo con sus encantamientos, é hicieron venir ranas sobre la tierra de Egipto.
8Entonces Faraón llamó á Moisés y á Aarón, y díjoles: Orad á Jehová que quite las ranas de mí y de mi pueblo; y dejaré ir al pueblo, para que sacrifique á Jehová.
9Y dijo Moisés á Faraón: Gloríate sobre mí: ¿cuándo oraré por ti, y por tus siervos, y por tu pueblo, para que las ranas sean quitadas de ti, y de tus casas, y que solamente se queden en el río?
10Y él dijo: Mañana. Y Moisés respondió: Se hará conforme á tu palabra, para que conozcas que no hay como Jehová nuestro Dios:
11Y las ranas se irán de ti, y de tus casas, y de tus siervos, y de tu pueblo, y solamente se quedarán en el río.
12Entonces salieron Moisés y Aarón de con Faraón, y clamó Moisés á Jehová sobre el negocio de las ranas que había puesto á Faraón.
13E hizo Jehová conforme á la palabra de Moisés, y murieron las ranas de las casas, de los cortijos, y de los campos.
14Y las juntaron en montones, y apestaban la tierra.
15Y viendo Faraón que le habían dado reposo, agravó su corazón, y no los escuchó; como Jehová lo había dicho.
16Entonces Jehová dijo á Moisés: Di á Aarón: Extiende tu vara, y hiere el polvo de la tierra, para que se vuelva piojos por todo el país de Egipto.
17Y ellos lo hicieron así; y Aarón extendió su mano con su vara, é hirió el polvo de la tierra, el cual se volvió piojos, así en los hombres como en las bestias: todo el polvo de la tierra se volvió piojos en todo el país de Egipto.
18Y los encantadores hicieron así también, para sacar piojos con sus encantamientos; mas no pudieron. Y había piojos así en los hombres como en las bestias.
19Entonces los magos dijeron á Faraón: Dedo de Dios es este. Mas el corazón de Faraón se endureció, y no los escuchó; como Jehová lo había dicho.
20Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Levántate de mañana y ponte delante de Faraón, he aquí él sale á las aguas; y dile: Jehová ha dicho así: Deja ir á mi pueblo, para que me sirva.
21Porque si no dejares ir á mi pueblo, he aquí yo enviaré sobre ti, y sobre tus siervos, y sobre tu pueblo, y sobre tus casas toda suerte de moscas; y las casas de los Egipcios se henchirán de toda suerte de moscas, y asimismo la tierra donde ellos estuvieren.
22Y aquel día yo apartaré la tierra de Gosén, en la cual mi pueblo habita, para que ninguna suerte de moscas haya en ella; á fin de que sepas que yo soy Jehová en medio de la tierra.
23Y yo pondré redención entre mi pueblo y el tuyo. Mañana será esta señal.
24Y Jehová lo hizo así: que vino toda suerte de moscas molestísimas sobre la casa de Faraón, y sobre las casas de sus siervos, y sobre todo el país de Egipto; y la tierra fué corrompida á causa de ellas.
25Entonces Faraón llamó á Moisés y á Aarón, y díjoles: Andad, sacrificad á vuestro Dios en la tierra.
26Y Moisés respondió: No conviene que hagamos así, porque sacrificaríamos á Jehová nuestro Dios la abominación de los Egipcios. He aquí, si sacrificáramos la abominación de los Egipcios delante de ellos, ¿no nos apedrearían?
27Camino de tres días iremos por el desierto, y sacrificaremos á Jehová nuestro Dios, como él nos dirá.
28Y dijo Faraón: Yo os dejaré ir para que sacrifiquéis á Jehová vuestro Dios en el desierto, con tal que no vayáis más lejos: orad por mí.
29Y respondió Moisés: He aquí, en saliendo yo de contigo, rogaré á Jehová que las diversas suertes de moscas se vayan de Faraón, y de sus siervos, y de su pueblo mañana; con tal que Faraón no falte más, no dejando ir al pueblo á sacrificar á Jehová.
30Entonces Moisés salió de con Faraón, y oró á Jehová.
31Y Jehová hizo conforme á la palabra de Moisés; y quitó todas aquellas moscas de Faraón, y de sus siervos, y de su pueblo, sin que quedara una.
32Mas Faraón agravó aún esta vez su corazón, y no dejó ir al pueblo.

1And the LORD spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
2And if thou refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all thy borders with frogs:
3And the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into thine house, and into thy bedchamber, and upon thy bed, and into the house of thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thine ovens, and into thy kneadingtroughs:
4And the frogs shall come up both on thee, and upon thy people, and upon all thy servants.
5And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch forth thine hand with thy rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt.
6And Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt; and the frogs came up, and covered the land of Egypt.
7And the magicians did so with their enchantments, and brought up frogs upon the land of Egypt.
8Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Intreat the LORD, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may do sacrifice unto the LORD.
9And Moses said unto Pharaoh, Glory over me: when shall I intreat for thee, and for thy servants, and for thy people, to destroy the frogs from thee and thy houses, that they may remain in the river only?
10And he said, To morrow. And he said, Be it according to thy word: that thou mayest know that there is none like unto the LORD our God.
11And the frogs shall depart from thee, and from thy houses, and from thy servants, and from thy people; they shall remain in the river only.
12And Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh: and Moses cried unto the LORD because of the frogs which he had brought against Pharaoh.
13And the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and the frogs died out of the houses, out of the villages, and out of the fields.
14And they gathered them together upon heaps: and the land stank.
15But when Pharaoh saw that there was respite, he hardened his heart, and hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.
16And the LORD said unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch out thy rod, and smite the dust of the land, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt.
17And they did so; for Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and smote the dust of the earth, and it became lice in man, and in beast; all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.
18And the magicians did so with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not: so there were lice upon man, and upon beast.
19Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God: and Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.
20And the LORD said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh; lo, he cometh forth to the water; and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
21Else, if thou wilt not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies upon thee, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thy houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground whereon they are.
22And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth.
23And I will put a division between my people and thy people: to morrow shall this sign be.
24And the LORD did so; and there came a grievous swarm of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants’ houses, and into all the land of Egypt: the land was corrupted by reason of the swarm of flies.
25And Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron, and said, Go ye, sacrifice to your God in the land.
26And Moses said, It is not meet so to do; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to the LORD our God: lo, shall we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, and will they not stone us?
27We will go three days’ journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to the LORD our God, as he shall command us.
28And Pharaoh said, I will let you go, that ye may sacrifice to the LORD your God in the wilderness; only ye shall not go very far away: intreat for me.
29And Moses said, Behold, I go out from thee, and I will intreat the LORD that the swarms of flies may depart from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people, to morrow: but let not Pharaoh deal deceitfully any more in not letting the people go to sacrifice to the LORD.
30And Moses went out from Pharaoh, and intreated the LORD.
31And the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and he removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people; there remained not one.
32And Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also, neither would he let the people go.

1The LORD spoke to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh, and tell him, ‘This is what the LORD says, “Let my people go, that they may serve me.
2If you refuse to let them go, behold, I will plague all your borders with frogs.
3The river will swarm with frogs, which will go up and come into your house, and into your bedroom, and on your bed, and into the house of your servants, and on your people, and into your ovens, and into your kneading troughs.
4The frogs shall come up both on you, and on your people, and on all your servants.”’”
5The LORD said to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Stretch out your hand with your rod over the rivers, over the streams, and over the pools, and cause frogs to come up on the land of Egypt.’”
6Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt; and the frogs came up, and covered the land of Egypt.
7The magicians did the same thing with their enchantments, and brought up frogs on the land of Egypt.
8Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, “Entreat the LORD, that he take away the frogs from me and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may sacrifice to the LORD.”
9Moses said to Pharaoh, “I give you the honor of setting the time that I should pray for you, and for your servants, and for your people, that the frogs be destroyed from you and your houses, and remain in the river only.”
10Pharaoh said, “Tomorrow.” Moses said, “Let it be according to your word, that you may know that there is no one like the LORD our God.
11The frogs shall depart from you, and from your houses, and from your servants, and from your people. They shall remain in the river only.”
12Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh, and Moses cried to the LORD concerning the frogs which he had brought on Pharaoh.
13The LORD did according to the word of Moses, and the frogs died out of the houses, out of the courts, and out of the fields.
14They gathered them together in heaps, and the land stank.
15But when Pharaoh saw that there was a respite, he hardened his heart, and didn’t listen to them, as the LORD had spoken.
16The LORD said to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Stretch out your rod, and strike the dust of the earth, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt.’”

18The magicians tried with their enchantments to produce lice, but they couldn’t. There were lice on man, and on animal.
19Then the magicians said to Pharaoh, “This is God’s finger;” but Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he didn’t listen to them, as the LORD had spoken.
20The LORD said to Moses, “Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh; behold, he comes out to the water; and tell him, ‘This is what the LORD says, “Let my people go, that they may serve me.
21Else, if you will not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies on you, and on your servants, and on your people, and into your houses. The houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground they are on.
22I will set apart in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there, to the end you may know that I am the LORD on the earth.
23I will put a division between my people and your people. This sign shall happen by tomorrow.”’”
24The LORD did so; and there came grievous swarms of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants’ houses. In all the land of Egypt the land was corrupted by reason of the swarms of flies.
25Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron, and said, “Go, sacrifice to your God in the land!”
26Moses said, “It isn’t appropriate to do so; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to the LORD our God. Behold, if we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, won’t they stone us?
27We will go three days’ journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to the LORD our God, as he shall command us.”
28Pharaoh said, “I will let you go, that you may sacrifice to the LORD your God in the wilderness, only you shall not go very far away. Pray for me.”
29Moses said, “Behold, I am going out from you. I will pray to the LORD that the swarms of flies may depart from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people, tomorrow; only don’t let Pharaoh deal deceitfully any more in not letting the people go to sacrifice to the LORD.”
30Moses went out from Pharaoh, and prayed to the LORD.
31The LORD did according to the word of Moses, and he removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people. There remained not one.
32Pharaoh hardened his heart this time also, and he didn’t let the people go.
