Disse ancora a Mosè il Signore: Va' a trovar Faraone, e gli dirai: Queste cose dice il Signore: Lascia andare il mio popolo ad offerirmi sacrifizio.
ENTONCES Jehová dijo á Moisés: Entra á Faraón, y dile: Jehová ha dicho así: Deja ir á mi pueblo, para que me sirvan.

E il fiume ne darà un bulicame: ed entreranno nella tua casa, e nella camera, dove dormi, e nel tuo letto, e nelle case de' servi tuoi, e tra 'l tuo popolo, e ne' tuoi forni, e tra gli avanzi de' tuoi cibi:
Y el río criará ranas, las cuales subirán, y entrarán en tu casa, y en la cámara de tu cama, y sobre tu cama, y en las casas de tus siervos, y en tu pueblo, y en tus hornos, y en tus artesas:
And the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into thine house, and into thy bedchamber, and upon thy bed, and into the house of thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thine ovens, and into thy kneadingtroughs:
The river will swarm with frogs, which will go up and come into your house, and into your bedroom, and on your bed, and into the house of your servants, and on your people, and into your ovens, and into your kneading troughs.
E in casa tua, e nelle case del popol tuo, e in casa di tutti i tuoi servi entreranno le ranocchie.
Y las ranas subirán sobre ti, y sobre tu pueblo, y sobre todos tus siervos.

E disse il Signore a Mosè: Tu dirai ad Aronne, che stenda la sua mano sopra i fiumi, e sopra i rivi, e le paludi, e ne faccia uscir fuora le rane nella terra d'Egitto.
Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Di á Aarón: Extiende tu mano con tu vara sobre los ríos, arroyos, y estanques, para que haga venir ranas sobre la tierra de Egipto.

E disse Mosè a Faraone: Determina tu a me il tempo, in cui debba pregar per te, e pe' tuoi servi, e pel tuo popolo, affinché sien discacciate le ranocchie lungi da te, e dalla tua casa, e da' tuoi servi, e dal tuo popolo: e restino solo nel fiume.
Y dijo Moisés á Faraón: Gloríate sobre mí: ¿cuándo oraré por ti, y por tus siervos, y por tu pueblo, para que las ranas sean quitadas de ti, y de tus casas, y que solamente se queden en el río?
And Moses said unto Pharaoh, Glory over me: when shall I intreat for thee, and for thy servants, and for thy people, to destroy the frogs from thee and thy houses, that they may remain in the river only?
Moses said to Pharaoh, “I give you the honor of setting the time that I should pray for you, and for your servants, and for your people, that the frogs be destroyed from you and your houses, and remain in the river only.”
Rispose egli: Domane. E quegli disse: Farò, come tu domandi, affinché tu conosca, che non havvi chi sia come il Signor Dio nostro.
Y él dijo: Mañana. Y Moisés respondió: Se hará conforme á tu palabra, para que conozcas que no hay como Jehová nuestro Dios:

E Mosè, e Aronne si partiron da Faraone: e Mosè alzò le grida al Signore per la promessa fatta a Faraone intorno alle ranocchie.
Entonces salieron Moisés y Aarón de con Faraón, y clamó Moisés á Jehová sobre el negocio de las ranas que había puesto á Faraón.

E fecer così. E Aronne stese la mano, e colla verga percosse la polvere della terra, e ne nacquer mosconi infesti agli uomini, e ai giumenti: tutta la polvere della terra si cambiò in mosconi per tutta la terra d'Egitto.

E il Signore disse ancora a Mosè: Alzati di buon mattino, e presentati a Faraone: perocché egli andrà alle acque e dirai a lui: Queste cose dice il Signore: Lascia andare il mio popolo, affinché mi offerisca sacrificio.

Che se tu nol lascerai andare, ecco che io manderò contro di te, e contro i tuoi servi, e contro il tuo popolo, e contro le tue case ogni specie di mosche: e le case degli Egiziani, e tutti i luoghi, dov'ei faranno dimora, si riempiranno di mosche di vario genere.

E farò distinzione tra il popol mio, e il popol tuo: domane avverrà questo prodigio.

Ma disse Mosè: Ciò non può farsi: perocché al Signor Dio nostro sacrificheremo quello che tra gli Egiziani è sacrilegio l'uccidere; e se noi immoleremo al cospetto degli Egiziani quelle cose, che essi adorano, ci lapideranno.
Y Moisés respondió: No conviene que hagamos así, porque sacrificaríamos á Jehová nuestro Dios la abominación de los Egipcios. He aquí, si sacrificáramos la abominación de los Egipcios delante de ellos, ¿no nos apedrearían?
And Moses said, It is not meet so to do; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to the LORD our God: lo, shall we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, and will they not stone us?

E Mosè disse: Partito che sarò da te, io pregherò il Signore: e domane se n'anderanno lungi da Faraone, e dai suoi servi, e dal suo popolo le mosche: ma non voler più ingannare rattenendo il popolo dall'andare a far sacrifizio al Signore.
Y respondió Moisés: He aquí, en saliendo yo de contigo, rogaré á Jehová que las diversas suertes de moscas se vayan de Faraón, y de sus siervos, y de su pueblo mañana; con tal que Faraón no falte más, no dejando ir al pueblo á sacrificar á Jehová.

E partitosi da Faraone Mosè pregò il Signore.

E s'indurò il cuore di Faraone in guisa, che neppur questa volta lasciò, che il popolo partisse. Quinta piaga la peste ne' giumenti: tetta le ulcere: settima le grandini, i tuoni, e fulmini: perchè questa cessi, Faraone promette di lasciar libero il popolo; ma non mantien la parola, e nuovamente s'indura. Nissuno de’ figlioli d'Israele patisce danno veruno in tali sciagure.
