Ma disse Mosè: Ciò non può farsi: perocché al Signor Dio nostro sacrificheremo quello che tra gli Egiziani è sacrilegio l'uccidere; e se noi immoleremo al cospetto degli Egiziani quelle cose, che essi adorano, ci lapideranno.
Y Moisés respondió: No conviene que hagamos así, porque sacrificaríamos á Jehová nuestro Dios la abominación de los Egipcios. He aquí, si sacrificáramos la abominación de los Egipcios delante de ellos, ¿no nos apedrearían?
And Moses said, It is not meet so to do; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to the LORD our God: lo, shall we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, and will they not stone us?
Moses said, “It isn’t appropriate to do so; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to the LORD our God. Behold, if we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, won’t they stone us?
