Ihr sollt nicht mehr wie früher dem Volk Stroh geben, um Ziegel zu streichen; sie sollen selbst hingehen und sich Stroh sammeln.

De aquí adelante no daréis paja al pueblo para hacer ladrillo, como ayer y antes de ayer; vayan ellos y recojan por sí mismos la paja:

Ye shall no more give the people straw to make brick, as heretofore: let them go and gather straw for themselves.
