No se da paja a tus esclavos †siervos, sirvientes, y con todo nos dicen: Hagan el ladrillo. Y he aquí tus esclavos †siervos, sirvientes son azotados, y el pueblo tuyo es el culpable.

No se da paja á tus siervos, y con todo nos dicen: Haced el ladrillo. Y he aquí tus siervos son azotados, y tu pueblo cae en falta.

There is no straw given unto thy servants, and they say to us, Make brick: and, behold, thy servants are beaten; but the fault is in thine own people.

No straw is given to your servants, and they tell us, ‘Make brick!’ and behold, your servants are beaten; but the fault is in your own people.”
