Moisés estava cuidando do rebanho do seu sogro Jetro, sacerdote de Midiã. Ele levou o rebanho para o lado leste do deserto e chegou perto de Horebe, o monte de Deus.

Y APACENTANDO Moisés las ovejas de Jethro su suegro, sacerdote de Madián, llevó las ovejas detrás del desierto, y vino á Horeb, monte de Dios.

Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.
