E le fece passare per gli anelli, che spuntavano da' lati dell'altare. L'altare poi non era massiccio, ma scavato, e voto di dentro, e fatto di tavole.

Y metió las varas por los anillos á los lados del altar, para llevarlo con ellas: hueco lo hizo, de tablas.

And he put the staves into the rings on the sides of the altar, to bear it withal; he made the altar hollow with boards.

He put the poles into the rings on the sides of the altar, with which to carry it. He made it hollow with planks.
