»Cuídate de hacer alianza con el pueblo que habita la tierra a donde vas, porque si lo haces, pronto andarás en sus malos caminos.

Guárdate que no hagas alianza con los moradores de la tierra donde has de entrar, porque no sean por tropezadero en medio de tí:

Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee:

Be careful, lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land where you are going, lest it be for a snare among you;
