Garde-toi de faire alliance avec les habitants du pays où tu dois entrer, de peur qu’ils ne soient un piège pour toi.

Guárdate que no hagas alianza con los moradores de la tierra donde has de entrar, porque no sean por tropezadero en medio de tí:

Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee:

Be careful, lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land where you are going, lest it be for a snare among you;
