Pourquoi les Egyptiens diraient-ils : C'est pour leur malheur qu'il les a fait sortir, c'est pour les faire périr dans les montagnes et pour les anéantir de dessus la terre ? Revenez de l'ardeur de votre colère, et repentez-vous du mal que vous voulez faire à votre peuple.
¿Por qué han de hablar los Egipcios, diciendo: Para mal los sacó, para matarlos en los montes, y para raerlos de sobre la haz de la tierra? Vuélvete del furor de tu ira, y arrepiéntete del mal de tu pueblo.
Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people.
Why should the Egyptians talk, saying, ‘He brought them out for evil, to kill them in the mountains, and to consume them from the surface of the earth’? Turn from your fierce wrath, and turn away from this evil against your people.
