1ALS aber das Volk sah, dass Mose so lange nicht vom Berge herabkam, sammelte es sich um Aaron und sprach zu ihm: Auf, mache uns einen Gott, der vor uns her ziehe; denn wir wissen nicht, was dem da zugestossen ist, dem Mose, dem Mann, der uns aus dem Lande Ägypten heraufgeführt hat.

1MAS viendo el pueblo que Moisés tardaba en descender del monte, allegóse entonces á Aarón, y dijéronle: Levántate, haznos dioses que vayan delante de nosotros; porque á este Moisés, aquel varón que nos sacó de la tierra de Egipto, no sabemos qué le haya acontecido.

1And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

1When the people saw that Moses delayed coming down from the mountain, the people gathered themselves together to Aaron, and said to him, “Come, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we don’t know what has become of him.”
