1Tu feras l'autel de l'encens en bois incorruptible.
2Tu lui donneras une coudée de long sur une coudée de large ; il sera quadrangulaire et haut de deux coudées ; il aura les cornes en saillie.
3Tu revêtiras d'or pur sa grille et ses panneaux tout autour, et ses cornes, et tu lui feras tout autour une couronne d'or en torsade.
4Et sous sa couronne en torsade tu feras deux anneaux d'or pur, un de chaque côté ; ils serviront d'anses aux leviers pour l'enlever.
5Ceux-ci seront de bois incorruptible, et tu les revêtiras d'airain.
6Tu placeras l’autel devant le voile qui couvre l'arche du témoignage, où je me manifesterai à toi.
7Et tous les matins, sur cet autel, Aaron fera brûler le parfum composé et précieux ; pendant qu'il nettoiera les lampes, il brûlera de l’encens sur l'autel.
8Le soir aussi, lorsque Aaron allumera les lampes, il brûlera de l’encens sur l'autel ; l'encens fumera toujours, toujours devant le Seigneur jusqu'à vos dernières générations.
9Tu n'apporteras point d'autre parfum sur l’autel, tu n'y déposeras ni fruit, ni offrande ; tu répandras pas de libations.
10Une fois par an Aaron priera sur l’autel et les cornes de l'autel pour apaiser Dieu ; il purifiera l’autel avec le sang de la purification, jusqu’à vos dernières générations ; car il est très saint pour le Seigneur.
11Le Seigneur parla encore à Moïse, et il dit :
12Si tu fais le dénombrement des fils d'Israël, en les inspectant, chacun donnera au Seigneur la rançon de sa vie, et il n'y aura point chez eux de désastre pendant qu'ils seront inspectés.
13Et voici ce qu'ils donneront, à mesure qu'ils se présenteront devant toi pour être visites, une drachme conforme à la double drachme consacrée ayant vingt oboles ; cette drachme offerte par eux sera pour le Seigneur.
14Quiconque passera à la visite, âgé de vingt-trois ans et au-dessus, fera cette offrande au Seigneur.
15Le riche n'ajoutera rien, le pauvre ne retranchera rien à cette drachme donnée en offrande au Seigneur pour le rendre propice à vos âmes.
16Tu prendras l'argent de l'offrande des fils d'Israël et tu l’emploieras à l'œuvre du tabernacle du témoignage, afin que le Seigneur, se souvienne d'eux et soit propice aux âmes des fils d'Israël.
17Le Seigneur continua de parler à Moïse, et il dit :
18Fais un réservoir d'airain à base d'airain, pour qu'on s'y lave ; tu le placeras entre le tabernacle du témoignage et l'autel, à l'entrée du tabernacle du témoignage, et tu y verseras de l’eau.
19Et Aaron et ses fils avec cette eau se laveront les pieds et les mains.
20Ils se laveront avec de l’eau, ayant d'entrer dans le tabernacle du témoignage, afin de ne point mourir lorsqu'ils s'approcheront de l'autel, pour exercer le sacerdoce et offrir les holocaustes au Seigneur.
21Ils se laveront avec de l'eau les pieds et les mains, avant d'entrer dans le tabernacle du témoignage ; ils se laveront avec de l'eau, afin qu'ils ne meurent pas : loi perpétuelle pour Aaron et ses générations après lui.
22Le Seigneur parla encore à Moïse, et il dit :
23Prends des parfums, de la fleur de myrrhe choisie, prends-en cinq cents sicles ; prends deux cent cinquante sicles de cinnamome, odoriférant ; prends autant de canne aromatique,
24Avec cinq cents sicles d'iris, au poids du sicle consacré, et un hin d'huile d'olive,
25Et fais-en de l’huile parfumée, un chrême saint, le baume par excellence, produit de l'art du parfumeur ; ce sera une huile sainte pour les onctions.
26Et tu en oindras le tabernacle du témoignage, l'arche du tabernacle du témoignage,
27Avec tout son ameublement, et le chandelier, et tous ses ustensiles, et l'autel de l'encens ;
28L'autel des holocaustes, la table avec tous ses ustensiles et le lavoir ;
29Tu les sanctifieras, et ces choses seront saintes quiconque les touchera sera sanctifié.
30Tu oindras aussi Aaron et ses fils, et tu les sanctifieras, pour qu'ils exercent mon sacerdoce.
31Tu parleras ensuite aux fils d'Israël, et tu leur diras : Cette huile parfumée, chrême de l'onction, sera sainte pour vous et pour vos générations.
32Nulle chair n'en sera ointe ; on n'en fera point de pareille ; c'est chose sainte, elle sera sacrée pour vous.
33Celui qui en fera de pareille, celui qui en donnera à un étranger, sera exterminé parmi le peuple.
34Et le Seigneur, dit à Moïse : Prends en égale quantité de l’huile de myrrhe, de, l'onyx, du galbanum odoriférant, et de l'encens diaphane.
35Et l'on en composent un encens odoriférant, produit de l'art du parfumeur, œuvre pure et sainte.
36Tu le couperas en petites parcelles, et tu en brûleras devant les témoignages, dans le tabernacle du témoignage, d’où je me manifesterai à toi ; cet encens sera pour vous très saint.
37Et vous n’en ferez point de pareil pour vous-mêmes ; il sera par vous consacré au Seigneur.
38Celui qui en fera de pareil pour jouir de son parfum, périra parmi le peuple.

1HARÁS asimismo un altar de sahumerio de perfume: de madera de Sittim lo harás.
2Su longitud será de un codo, y su anchura de un codo: será cuadrado: y su altura de dos codos: y sus cuernos serán de lo mismo.
3Y cubrirlo has de oro puro, su techado, y sus paredes en derredor, y sus cuernos: y le harás en derredor una corona de oro.
4Le harás también dos anillos de oro debajo de su corona á sus dos esquinas en ambos lados suyos, para meter los varales con que será llevado.
5Y harás los varales de madera de Sittim, y los cubrirás de oro.
6Y lo pondrás delante del velo que está junto al arca del testimonio, delante de la cubierta que está sobre el testimonio, donde yo te testificaré de mí.
7Y quemará sobre él Aarón sahumerio de aroma cada mañana: cuando aderezare las lámparas lo quemará.
8Y cuando Aarón encenderá las lámparas al anochecer, quemará el sahumerio: rito perpetuo delante de Jehová por vuestras edades.
9No ofreceréis sobre él sahumerio extraño, ni holocausto, ni presente; ni tampoco derramaréis sobre él libación.
10Y sobre sus cuernos hará Aarón expiación una vez en el año con la sangre de la expiación para las reconciliaciones: una vez en el año hará expiación sobre él en vuestras edades: será muy santo á Jehová.
11Y habló Jehová á Moisés, diciendo:
12Cuando tomares el número de los hijos de Israel conforme á la cuenta de ellos, cada uno dará á Jehová el rescate de su persona, cuando los contares, y no habrá en ellos mortandad por haberlos contado.
13Esto dará cualquiera que pasare por la cuenta, medio siclo conforme al siclo del santuario. El siclo es de veinte óbolos: la mitad de un siclo será la ofrenda á Jehová.
14Cualquiera que pasare por la cuenta, de veinte años arriba, dará la ofrenda á Jehová.
15Ni el rico aumentará, ni el pobre disminuirá de medio siclo, cuando dieren la ofrenda á Jehová para hacer expiación por vuestras personas.
16Y tomarás de los hijos de Israel el dinero de las expiaciones, y lo darás para la obra del tabernáculo del testimonio: y será por memoria á los hijos de Israel delante de Jehová, para expiar vuestras personas.
17Habló más Jehová á Moisés, diciendo:
18Harás también una fuente de metal, con su basa de metal, para lavar; y la has de poner entre el tabernáculo del testimonio y el altar; y pondrás en ella agua.
19Y de ella se lavarán Aarón y sus hijos sus manos y sus pies:
20Cuando entraren en el tabernáculo del testimonio, se han de lavar con agua, y no morirán: y cuando se llegaren al altar para ministrar, para encender á Jehová la ofrenda que se ha de consumir al fuego,
21También se lavarán las manos y los pies, y no morirán. Y lo tendrán por estatuto perpetuo él y su simiente por sus generaciones.
22Habló más Jehová á Moisés, diciendo:
23Y tú has de tomar de las principales drogas; de mirra excelente quinientos siclos, y de canela aromática la mitad, esto es, doscientos y cincuenta, y de cálamo aromático doscientos y cincuenta,
24Y de casia quinientos, al peso del santuario, y de aceite de olivas un hin:
25Y harás de ello el aceite de la santa unción, superior ungüento, obra de perfumador, el cual será el aceite de la unción sagrada.
26Con él ungirás el tabernáculo del testimonio, y el arca del testimonio,
27Y la mesa, y todos sus vasos, y el candelero, y todos sus vasos, y el altar del perfume,
28Y el altar del holocausto, todos sus vasos, y la fuente y su basa.
29Así los consagrarás, y serán cosas santísimas: todo lo que tocare en ellos, será santificado.
30Ungirás también á Aarón y á sus hijos, y los consagrarás para que sean mis sacerdotes.
31Y hablarás á los hijos de Israel, diciendo: Este será mi aceite de la santa unción por vuestras edades.
32Sobre carne de hombre no será untado, ni haréis otro semejante, conforme á su composición: santo es; por santo habéis de tenerlo vosotros.
33Cualquiera que compusiere ungüento semejante, y que pusiere de él sobre extraño, será cortado de sus pueblos.
34Dijo aún Jehová á Moisés: Tómate aromas, estacte y uña olorosa y gálbano aromático é incienso limpio; de todo en igual peso:
35Y harás de ello una confección aromática de obra de perfumador, bien mezclada, pura y santa:
36Y molerás alguna de ella pulverizándola, y la pondrás delante del testimonio en el tabernáculo del testimonio, donde yo te testificaré de mí. Os será cosa santísima.
37Como la confección que harás, no os haréis otra según su composición: te será cosa sagrada para Jehová.
38Cualquiera que hiciere otra como ella para olerla, será cortado de sus pueblos.

1And thou shalt make an altar to burn incense upon: of shittim wood shalt thou make it.
2A cubit shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof; foursquare shall it be: and two cubits shall be the height thereof: the horns thereof shall be of the same.
3And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, the top thereof, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns thereof; and thou shalt make unto it a crown of gold round about.
4And two golden rings shalt thou make to it under the crown of it, by the two corners thereof, upon the two sides of it shalt thou make it; and they shall be for places for the staves to bear it withal.
5And thou shalt make the staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold.
6And thou shalt put it before the vail that is by the ark of the testimony, before the mercy seat that is over the testimony, where I will meet with thee.
7And Aaron shall burn thereon sweet incense every morning: when he dresseth the lamps, he shall burn incense upon it.
8And when Aaron lighteth the lamps at even, he shall burn incense upon it, a perpetual incense before the LORD throughout your generations.
9Ye shall offer no strange incense thereon, nor burnt sacrifice, nor meat offering; neither shall ye pour drink offering thereon.
10And Aaron shall make an atonement upon the horns of it once in a year with the blood of the sin offering of atonements: once in the year shall he make atonement upon it throughout your generations: it is most holy unto the LORD.
11And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
12When thou takest the sum of the children of Israel after their number, then shall they give every man a ransom for his soul unto the LORD, when thou numberest them; that there be no plague among them, when thou numberest them.
13This they shall give, every one that passeth among them that are numbered, half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary: (a shekel is twenty gerahs:) an half shekel shall be the offering of the LORD.
14Every one that passeth among them that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering unto the LORD.
15The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when they give an offering unto the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls.
16And thou shalt take the atonement money of the children of Israel, and shalt appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; that it may be a memorial unto the children of Israel before the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls.
17And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
18Thou shalt also make a laver of brass, and his foot also of brass, to wash withal: and thou shalt put it between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, and thou shalt put water therein.
19For Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet thereat:
20When they go into the tabernacle of the congregation, they shall wash with water, that they die not; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn offering made by fire unto the LORD:
21So they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they die not: and it shall be a statute for ever to them, even to him and to his seed throughout their generations.
22Moreover the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
23Take thou also unto thee principal spices, of pure myrrh five hundred shekels, and of sweet cinnamon half so much, even two hundred and fifty shekels, and of sweet calamus two hundred and fifty shekels,
24And of cassia five hundred shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, and of oil olive an hin:
25And thou shalt make it an oil of holy ointment, an ointment compound after the art of the apothecary: it shall be an holy anointing oil.
26And thou shalt anoint the tabernacle of the congregation therewith, and the ark of the testimony,
27And the table and all his vessels, and the candlestick and his vessels, and the altar of incense,
28And the altar of burnt offering with all his vessels, and the laver and his foot.
29And thou shalt sanctify them, that they may be most holy: whatsoever toucheth them shall be holy.
30And thou shalt anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office.
31And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, This shall be an holy anointing oil unto me throughout your generations.
32Upon man’s flesh shall it not be poured, neither shall ye make any other like it, after the composition of it: it is holy, and it shall be holy unto you.
33Whosoever compoundeth any like it, or whosoever putteth any of it upon a stranger, shall even be cut off from his people.
34And the LORD said unto Moses, Take unto thee sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum; these sweet spices with pure frankincense: of each shall there be a like weight:
35And thou shalt make it a perfume, a confection after the art of the apothecary, tempered together, pure and holy:
36And thou shalt beat some of it very small, and put of it before the testimony in the tabernacle of the congregation, where I will meet with thee: it shall be unto you most holy.
37And as for the perfume which thou shalt make, ye shall not make to yourselves according to the composition thereof: it shall be unto thee holy for the LORD.
38Whosoever shall make like unto that, to smell thereto, shall even be cut off from his people.

1“You shall make an altar to burn incense on. You shall make it of acacia wood.
2Its length shall be a cubit, and its width a cubit. It shall be square, and its height shall be two cubits. Its horns shall be of one piece with it.
3You shall overlay it with pure gold, its top, its sides around it, and its horns; and you shall make a gold molding around it.
4You shall make two golden rings for it under its molding; on its two ribs, on its two sides you shall make them; and they shall be for places for poles with which to bear it.
5You shall make the poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold.
6You shall put it before the veil that is by the ark of the covenant, before the mercy seat that is over the covenant, where I will meet with you.
7Aaron shall burn incense of sweet spices on it every morning. When he tends the lamps, he shall burn it.
8When Aaron lights the lamps at evening, he shall burn it, a perpetual incense before the LORD throughout your generations.
9You shall offer no strange incense on it, nor burnt offering, nor meal offering; and you shall pour no drink offering on it.
10Aaron shall make atonement on its horns once in the year; with the blood of the sin offering of atonement once in the year he shall make atonement for it throughout your generations. It is most holy to the LORD.”

12“When you take a census of the children of Israel, according to those who are counted among them, then each man shall give a ransom for his soul to the LORD when you count them, that there be no plague among them when you count them.
13They shall give this, everyone who passes over to those who are counted, half a shekel according to the shekel of the sanctuary (the shekel is twenty gerahs); half a shekel for an offering to the LORD.
14Everyone who passes over to those who are counted, from twenty years old and upward, shall give the offering to the LORD.
15The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less, than the half shekel, when they give the offering of the LORD, to make atonement for your souls.
16You shall take the atonement money from the children of Israel, and shall appoint it for the service of the Tent of Meeting; that it may be a memorial for the children of Israel before the LORD, to make atonement for your souls.”
17The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
18“You shall also make a basin of bronze, and its base of bronze, in which to wash. You shall put it between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and you shall put water in it.
19Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet in it.
20When they go into the Tent of Meeting, they shall wash with water, that they don’t die; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn an offering made by fire to the LORD.
21So they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they not die. This shall be a statute forever to them, even to him and to his descendants throughout their generations.”
22Moreover the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
23“Also take fine spices: of liquid myrrh, five hundred shekels; and of fragrant cinnamon half as much, even two hundred and fifty; and of fragrant cane, two hundred and fifty;
24and of cassia five hundred, according to the shekel of the sanctuary; and a hin of olive oil.
25You shall make it into a holy anointing oil, a perfume compounded after the art of the perfumer: it shall be a holy anointing oil.
26You shall use it to anoint the Tent of Meeting, the ark of the covenant,
27the table and all its articles, the lamp stand and its accessories, the altar of incense,
28the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils, and the basin with its base.
29You shall sanctify them, that they may be most holy. Whatever touches them shall be holy.
30You shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and sanctify them, that they may minister to me in the priest’s office.
31You shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘This shall be a holy anointing oil to me throughout your generations.
32It shall not be poured on man’s flesh, and do not make any like it, according to its composition. It is holy. It shall be holy to you.
33Whoever compounds any like it, or whoever puts any of it on a stranger, he shall be cut off from his people.’”
34The LORD said to Moses, “Take to yourself sweet spices, gum resin, onycha, and galbanum: sweet spices with pure frankincense. There shall be an equal weight of each.
35You shall make incense of it, a perfume after the art of the perfumer, seasoned with salt, pure and holy.
36You shall beat some of it very small, and put some of it before the covenant in the Tent of Meeting, where I will meet with you. It shall be to you most holy.
37You shall not make this incense, according to its composition, for yourselves: it shall be to you holy for the LORD.
38Whoever shall make any like that, to smell of it, he shall be cut off from his people.”
