1DU aber lass nun aus der Mitte der Israeliten deinen Bruder Aaron und mit ihm seine Söhne zu dir herantreten, dass er mein Priester sei, nämlich Aaron samt seinen Söhnen Nadab und Abihu, Eleasar und Ithamar.
2Und du sollst für deinen Bruder Aaron heilige Kleider machen zur Ehre und zur Zierde.
3Rede du mit allen, die kunstverständig sind, die ich mit dem Geist der Kunstfertigkeit erfüllt habe, dass sie die Kleider Aarons machen, damit man ihn weihe und er mein Priester sei.
4Dies aber sind die Kleider, die sie machen sollen: Brusttasche, Ephod, Obergewand, Leibrock aus gewürfeltem Zeug, Kopfbund und Gürtel. So sollen sie für deinen Bruder Aaron und seine Söhne heilige Kleider machen, damit er mein Priester sei.
5Und dazu sollen sie das Gold, die Zeuge von blauem und rotem Purpur, das Karmesin und den Byssus verwenden.
6Das Ephod sollen sie aus Gold, blauem und rotem Purpur, Karmesin und gezwirntem Byssus machen, in Kunstweberarbeit.
7Zwei (mit ihm) verbundene Schulterstücke soll es haben, an seinen beiden Enden soll es (mit ihnen) verbunden werden.
8Die Binde an ihm aber, die dazu dient, es anzulegen, soll von der gleichen Arbeit und aus einem Stück mit ihm sein, aus Gold, blauem und rotem Purpur, Karmesin und gezwirntem Byssus.
9Dann sollst du die beiden Sohamsteine nehmen und die Namen der Söhne Israels darauf eingraben,
10sechs Namen auf dem einen Stein und die sechs übrigen Namen auf dem andern Stein, nach der Reihenfolge ihrer Geburt.
11In Steinschneiderarbeit, nach Art des Siegelstechers, sollst du auf den beiden Steinen die Namen der Söhne Israels eingraben; mit einem Geflecht von Gold sollst du sie einfassen.
12Und die beiden Steine sollst du auf die Schulterstücke des Ephod heften, als Steine, (die dazu dienen,) dass der Israeliten gedacht werde; Aaron soll ihre Namen auf seinen beiden Schultern tragen vor dem Herrn, damit der Herr ihrer gedenke.
13Ferner sollst du Geflechte von Gold
14und zwei Ketten von reinem Gold machen; als Schnüre sollst du sie herstellen, wie man Stricke flicht, und sollst die geflochtenen Ketten an den Geflechten befestigen.
15Dann sollst du eine Brusttasche für den Rechtsspruch machen, in Kunstweberarbeit; wie das Ephod gemacht ist, sollst du sie machen: aus Gold, blauem und rotem Purpur, Karmesin und gezwirntem Byssus sollst du sie machen.
16Viereckig soll sie sein, doppelt gelegt, eine Spanne lang und eine Spanne breit.
17Und du sollst sie mit einem Besatz von Edelsteinen besetzen in vier Reihen von Steinen: in der ersten Reihe stehen nebeneinander ein Karneol, ein Topas und ein Smaragd;
18in der zweiten Reihe ein Rubin, ein Saphir und ein Jaspis;
19in der dritten Reihe ein Hyazinth, ein Achat und ein Amethyst;
20in der vierten Reihe ein Chrysolith, ein Soham und ein Onyx. In ein Geflecht von Gold gefasst sollen sie den Besatz bilden.
21Und der Steine sollen nach den Namen der Söhne Israels zwölf sein, nach ihren Namen; in Siegelstecherarbeit soll auf jedem der Name eines der zwölf Stämme stehen.
22Dann sollst du an der Brusttasche schnurartig geflochtene Ketten aus reinem Gold anbringen,
23und sollst an der Brusttasche zwei goldene Ringe anbringen; und zwar sollst du die zwei Ringe an die beiden Enden der Brusttasche setzen.
24Darnach befestige die beiden goldenen Schnüre an den beiden Ringen an den Enden der Brusttasche.
25Die beiden andern Enden der zwei Schnüre aber befestige an den zwei Geflechten und hefte diese auf die Schulterstücke des Ephod auf dessen Vorderseite.
26Ferner sollst du (noch) zwei goldene Ringe machen und sie an den zwei Enden der Brusttasche auf ihrem innern, dem Ephod zugekehrten Rande befestigen.
27Dann sollst du (noch) zwei goldene Ringe machen und sie unten an den beiden Schulterstücken des Ephod auf seiner Vorderseite anbringen, da wo es (mit ihnen) zusammengefügt ist, oberhalb der Binde des Ephod.
28Und man soll die Brusttasche mit ihren Ringen durch eine Schnur von blauem Purpur an die Ringe des Ephod festbinden, sodass sie an der Binde des Ephod anliegt, so kann die Brusttasche sich über dem Ephod nicht verschieben.
29Also soll Aaron, wenn er ins Heiligtum hineingeht, die Namen der Söhne Israels in der Brusttasche für den Rechtsspruch immer auf der Brust tragen, damit der Herr (ihrer) gedenke.
30In die Brusttasche für den Rechtsspruch aber sollst du die Urim und Thummim legen, damit sie auf der Brust Aarons liegen, wenn er hineingeht vor den Herrn; und so soll Aaron den Rechtsspruch für die Israeliten allezeit vor dem Herrn auf seiner Brust tragen. (a) 3Mo 8:8; 4Mo 27:21; 5Mo 33:8
31Und das Obergewand zum Ephod sollst du ganz aus blauem Purpur machen,
32und in der Mitte soll die Öffnung für den Kopf sein. Rings um die Öffnung soll ein Saum laufen, in Weberarbeit; eine Öffnung wie die eines Panzers soll es haben, damit es nicht zerreisst.
33Und an seinem Saum sollst du Granatäpfel aus blauem und rotem Purpur und aus Karmesin anbringen, ringsum an seinem Saum; und zwischen denselben goldene Schellen, ringsum,
34sodass ringsum am Saum des Obergewandes je eine goldene Schelle und ein Granatapfel miteinander abwechseln.
35Und Aaron soll es tragen beim heiligen Dienst, und man soll es klingen hören, wenn er im Heiligtum vor dem Herrn aus und ein geht, damit er nicht sterbe.
36Du sollst auch ein Stirnblatt von reinem Gold machen und darauf nach Art des Siegelstechers eingraben: Dem Herrn geweiht!
37Und du sollst es mit einer Schnur von blauem Purpur am Kopfbund befestigen; vorn am Kopfbund soll es sein.
38Und es soll auf der Stirne Aarons liegen, damit Aaron alles trage, womit sich die Israeliten verfehlen an den heiligen Dingen, die sie darbringen, an allen ihren heiligen Gaben. Es soll allezeit auf seiner Stirne liegen, damit es sie vor dem Herrn wohlgefällig mache.
39Ferner sollst du den Leibrock machen, ein Gewebe aus Byssus in gewürfeltem Muster, und sollst einen Kopfbund aus Byssus anfertigen, und einen Gürtel sollst du machen in Buntweberarbeit.
40Und für die Söhne Aarons sollst du Leibröcke machen und sollst Gürtel für sie machen, und hohe Mützen sollst du für sie machen zur Ehre und zur Zierde.
41Und du sollst deinen Bruder Aaron und seine Söhne damit bekleiden und sollst sie salben und ihnen die Hand füllen und sie dadurch weihen, damit sie mir als Priester dienen. (1) Sinnbild der Einsetzung in die Priesterrechte. (a) 2Mo 29:9 24
42Und du sollst ihnen linnene Beinkleider machen, die Blösse zu bedecken; von den Hüften bis zu den Schenkeln sollen sie reichen.
43Und Aaron und seine Söhne sollen sie tragen, wenn sie ins heilige Zelt hineingehen oder an den Altar treten, um den Dienst im Heiligtum zu tun, damit sie nicht Schuld auf sich laden und sterben müssen. Das ist für ihn und seine Nachkommen eine immerwährende Verpflichtung.

8Y el artificio de su cinto que está sobre él, será de su misma obra, de lo mismo; de oro, cárdeno, y púrpura, y carmesí, y lino torcido.
9Y tomarás dos piedras oniquinas, y grabarás en ellas los nombres de los hijos de Israel:
10Los seis de sus nombres en la una piedra, y los otros seis nombres en la otra piedra, conforme al nacimiento de ellos.
11De obra de escultor en piedra á modo de grabaduras de sello, harás grabar aquellas dos piedras con los nombres de los hijos de Israel; harásles alrededor engastes de oro.
12Y pondrás aquellas dos piedras sobre los hombros del ephod, para piedras de memoria á los hijos de Israel; y Aarón llevará los nombres de ellos delante de Jehová en sus dos hombros por memoria.
13Harás pues, engastes de oro,
14Y dos cadenillas de oro fino; las cuales harás de hechura de trenza; y fijarás las cadenas de hechura de trenza en los engastes.
15Harás asimismo el racional del juicio de primorosa obra, le has de hacer conforme á la obra del ephod, de oro, y cárdeno, y púrpura, y carmesí, y lino torcido.
16Será cuadrado y doble, de un palmo de largo y un palmo de ancho:
17Y lo llenarás de pedrería con cuatro órdenes de piedras: un orden de una piedra sárdica, un topacio, y un carbunclo; será el primer orden;
18El segundo orden, una esmeralda, un zafiro, y un diamante;
19El tercer orden, un rubí, un ágata, y una amatista;
20Y el cuarto orden, un berilo, un onix, y un jaspe: estarán engastadas en oro en sus encajes.
21Y serán aquellas piedras según los nombres de los hijos de Israel, doce según sus nombres; como grabaduras de sello cada una con su nombre, vendrán á ser según las doce tribus.
22Harás también en el racional cadenetas de hechura de trenzas de oro fino.
23Y harás en el racional dos anillos de oro, los cuales dos anillos pondrás á las dos puntas del racional.
24Y pondrás las dos trenzas de oro en los dos anillos á las dos puntas del racional:
25Y los dos cabos de las dos trenzas sobre los dos engastes, y las pondrás á los lados del ephod en la parte delantera.
26Harás también dos anillos de oro, los cuales pondrás á las dos puntas del racional, en su orilla que está al lado del ephod de la parte de dentro.
27Harás asimismo dos anillos de oro, los cuales pondrás á los dos lados del ephod abajo en la parte delantera, delante de su juntura sobre el cinto del ephod.
28Y juntarán el racional con sus anillos á los anillos del ephod con un cordón de jacinto, para que esté sobre el cinto del ephod, y no se aparte el racional del ephod.
29Y llevará Aarón los nombres de los hijos de Israel en el racional del juicio sobre su corazón, cuando entrare en el santuario, para memoria delante de Jehová continuamente.
30Y pondrás en el racional del juicio Urim y Thummim, para que estén sobre el corazón de Aarón cuando entrare delante de Jehová: y llevará siempre Aarón el juicio de los hijos de Israel sobre su corazón delante de Jehová.
31Harás el manto del ephod todo de jacinto:
32Y en medio de él por arriba habrá una abertura, la cual tendrá un borde alrededor de obra de tejedor, como el cuello de un coselete, para que no se rompa.
33Y abajo en sus orillas harás granadas de jacinto, y púrpura, y carmesí, por sus bordes alrededor; y entre ellas campanillas de oro alrededor:
34Una campanilla de oro y una granada, campanilla de oro y granada, por las orillas del manto alrededor.
35Y estará sobre Aarón cuando ministrare; y oiráse su sonido cuando él entrare en el santuario delante de Jehová y cuando saliere, porque no muera.
36Harás además una plancha de oro fino, y grabarás en ella grabadura de sello, SANTIDAD Á JEHOVÁ.
37Y la pondrás con un cordón de jacinto, y estará sobre la mitra; por el frente anterior de la mitra estará.
38Y estará sobre la frente de Aarón: y llevará Aarón el pecado de las cosas santas, que los hijos de Israel hubieren consagrado en todas sus santas ofrendas; y sobre su frente estará continuamente para que hayan gracia delante de Jehová.
39Y bordarás una túnica de lino, y harás una mitra de lino; harás también un cinto de obra de recamador.
40Y para los hijos de Aarón harás túnicas; también les harás cintos, y les formarás chapeos (tiaras) para honra y hermosura.
41Y con ellos vestirás á Aarón tu hermano, y á sus hijos con él: y los ungirás, y los consagrarás, y santificarás, para que sean mis sacerdotes.
42Y les harás pañetes de lino para cubrir la carne vergonzosa; serán desde los lomos hasta los muslos:
43Y estarán sobre Aarón y sobre sus hijos cuando entraren en el tabernáculo del testimonio, ó cuando se llegaren al altar para servir en el santuario, porque no lleven pecado, y mueran. Estatuto perpetuo para él, y para su simiente después de él.

1And take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons.
2And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty.
3And thou shalt speak unto all that are wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron’s garments to consecrate him, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office.
4And these are the garments which they shall make; a breastplate, and an ephod, and a robe, and a broidered coat, a mitre, and a girdle: and they shall make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, and his sons, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office.
5And they shall take gold, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen.
6And they shall make the ephod of gold, of blue, and of purple, of scarlet, and fine twined linen, with cunning work.
7It shall have the two shoulderpieces thereof joined at the two edges thereof; and so it shall be joined together.
8And the curious girdle of the ephod, which is upon it, shall be of the same, according to the work thereof; even of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.
9And thou shalt take two onyx stones, and grave on them the names of the children of Israel:
10Six of their names on one stone, and the other six names of the rest on the other stone, according to their birth.
11With the work of an engraver in stone, like the engravings of a signet, shalt thou engrave the two stones with the names of the children of Israel: thou shalt make them to be set in ouches of gold.

29And Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of judgment upon his heart, when he goeth in unto the holy place, for a memorial before the LORD continually.
30And thou shalt put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be upon Aaron’s heart, when he goeth in before the LORD: and Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel upon his heart before the LORD continually.
31And thou shalt make the robe of the ephod all of blue.
32And there shall be an hole in the top of it, in the midst thereof: it shall have a binding of woven work round about the hole of it, as it were the hole of an habergeon, that it be not rent.
33And beneath upon the hem of it thou shalt make pomegranates of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, round about the hem thereof; and bells of gold between them round about:
34A golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, upon the hem of the robe round about.
35And it shall be upon Aaron to minister: and his sound shall be heard when he goeth in unto the holy place before the LORD, and when he cometh out, that he die not.
36And thou shalt make a plate of pure gold, and grave upon it, like the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.
37And thou shalt put it on a blue lace, that it may be upon the mitre; upon the forefront of the mitre it shall be.
38And it shall be upon Aaron’s forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before the LORD.
39And thou shalt embroider the coat of fine linen, and thou shalt make the mitre of fine linen, and thou shalt make the girdle of needlework.
40And for Aaron’s sons thou shalt make coats, and thou shalt make for them girdles, and bonnets shalt thou make for them, for glory and for beauty.
41And thou shalt put them upon Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him; and shalt anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office.
42And thou shalt make them linen breeches to cover their nakedness; from the loins even unto the thighs they shall reach:
43And they shall be upon Aaron, and upon his sons, when they come in unto the tabernacle of the congregation, or when they come near unto the altar to minister in the holy place; that they bear not iniquity, and die: it shall be a statute for ever unto him and his seed after him.

2You shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for beauty.
3You shall speak to all who are wise-hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they make Aaron’s garments to sanctify him, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office.
4These are the garments which they shall make: a breastplate, an ephod, a robe, a fitted tunic, a turban, and a sash. They shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother and his sons, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office.
5They shall use the gold, and the blue, and the purple, and the scarlet, and the fine linen.
6“They shall make the ephod of gold, blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen, the work of the skillful workman.
7It shall have two shoulder straps joined to the two ends of it, that it may be joined together.
8The skillfully woven band, which is on it, shall be like its work and of the same piece; of gold, blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen.
9You shall take two onyx stones, and engrave on them the names of the children of Israel.
10Six of their names on the one stone, and the names of the six that remain on the other stone, in the order of their birth.
11With the work of an engraver in stone, like the engravings of a signet, you shall engrave the two stones, according to the names of the children of Israel. You shall make them to be enclosed in settings of gold.
12You shall put the two stones on the shoulder straps of the ephod, to be stones of memorial for the children of Israel. Aaron shall bear their names before the LORD on his two shoulders for a memorial.
13You shall make settings of gold,
14and two chains of pure gold; you shall make them like cords of braided work. You shall put the braided chains on the settings.
15“You shall make a breastplate of judgment, the work of the skillful workman; like the work of the ephod you shall make it; of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, you shall make it.
16It shall be square and folded double; a span shall be its length, and a span its width.
17You shall set in it settings of stones, four rows of stones: a row of ruby, topaz, and beryl shall be the first row;
18and the second row a turquoise, a sapphire, and an emerald;
19and the third row a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst;
20and the fourth row a chrysolite, an onyx, and a jasper. They shall be enclosed in gold in their settings.
21The stones shall be according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names; like the engravings of a signet, everyone according to his name, they shall be for the twelve tribes.
22You shall make on the breastplate chains like cords, of braided work of pure gold.
23You shall make on the breastplate two rings of gold, and shall put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.
24You shall put the two braided chains of gold in the two rings at the ends of the breastplate.
25The other two ends of the two braided chains you shall put on the two settings, and put them on the shoulder straps of the ephod in its forepart.
26You shall make two rings of gold, and you shall put them on the two ends of the breastplate, on its edge, which is toward the side of the ephod inward.
27You shall make two rings of gold, and shall put them on the two shoulder straps of the ephod underneath, in its forepart, close by its coupling, above the skillfully woven band of the ephod.
28They shall bind the breastplate by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it may be on the skillfully woven band of the ephod, and that the breastplate may not swing out from the ephod.
29Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of judgment on his heart, when he goes in to the holy place, for a memorial before the LORD continually.
30You shall put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be on Aaron’s heart, when he goes in before the LORD. Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel on his heart before the LORD continually.
31“You shall make the robe of the ephod all of blue.
32It shall have a hole for the head in the middle of it. It shall have a binding of woven work around its hole, as it were the hole of a coat of mail, that it not be torn.
33On its hem you shall make pomegranates of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, all around its hem; with bells of gold between and around them:
34a golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, around the hem of the robe.
35It shall be on Aaron to minister: and its sound shall be heard when he goes in to the holy place before the LORD, and when he comes out, that he not die.
36“You shall make a plate of pure gold, and engrave on it, like the engravings of a signet, ‘HOLY TO THE LORD.’
37You shall put it on a lace of blue, and it shall be on the sash. It shall be on the front of the sash.
38It shall be on Aaron’s forehead, and Aaron shall bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall make holy in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always on his forehead, that they may be accepted before the LORD.
39You shall weave the tunic with fine linen. You shall make a turban of fine linen. You shall make a sash, the work of the embroiderer.
40“You shall make tunics for Aaron’s sons. You shall make sashes for them. You shall make headbands for them, for glory and for beauty.
41You shall put them on Aaron your brother, and on his sons with him, and shall anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister to me in the priest’s office.
42You shall make them linen pants to cover their naked flesh. They shall reach from the waist even to the thighs.
43They shall be on Aaron and on his sons, when they go in to the Tent of Meeting, or when they come near to the altar to minister in the holy place, that they don’t bear iniquity, and die. This shall be a statute forever to him and to his offspring after him.
