1Und zu Mose sprach Er: Steige herauf zu Jehovah, du und Aharon, Nadab und Abihu, und siebzig von den Ältesten Israels, und betet an von ferne.
2Und Mose trete allein herzu zu Jehovah, sie aber sollen nicht herzutreten, und das Volk komme nicht mit ihm herauf.
3Und Mose kam und erzählte dem Volke alle die Worte Jehovahs und alle die Gerichte, und das ganze Volk antwortete mit einer Stimme und sie sprachen: Alle Worte, die Jehovah geredet, werden wir tun.
4Und Mose schrieb alle die Worte Jehovahs, und machte sich früh auf am Morgen und baute einen Altar unten am Berge und zwölf Denksäulen für die zwölf Stämme Israels;
5Und sandte Jünglinge der Söhne Israels hin, und sie ließen Brandopfer aufgehen und opferten Opfer des Friedens von Farren dem Jehovah.
6Und Mose nahm die Hälfte des Blutes und tat es in die Becken, die Hälfte des Blutes aber sprengte er über den Altar.
7Und er nahm das Buch des Bundes und las es vor den Ohren des Volkes, und sie sprachen: Alles, was Jehovah geredet hat, werden wir tun und Ihm gehorchen.
8Und Mose nahm das Blut und sprengte es über das Volk und sprach: Siehe, dies ist das Blut des Bundes, den Jehovah über alle diese Worte mit euch geschlossen hat.
9Und Mose stieg, und Aharon, Nadab und Abihu und siebzig von den Ältesten Israels hinauf;
10Und sie sahen den Gott Israels, und unter Seinen Füßen war wie ein Werk von Saphirstein und wie Stoff des Himmels an Reinheit.
11Und an die Ausgesonderten der Söhne Israels legte Er nicht Seine Hand. Und sie erschauten Gott und aßen und tranken.
12Und Jehovah sprach zu Mose: Steige herauf zu Mir auf den Berg und sei da, und Ich werde dir die steinernen Tafeln und das Gesetz und das Gebot geben, das Ich zu ihrer Unterweisung geschrieben habe.
13Und Mose machte sich auf und Jehoschua sein Diener; und Mose stieg auf den Berg Gottes.
14Und zu den Ältesten sprach er: Sitzet für uns hier, bis wir zu euch zurückkommen, und siehe, Aharon und Chur sind bei euch. Wer immer eine Streitsache hat, der trete herbei zu ihnen.
15Und Mose stieg auf den Berg, und die Wolke bedeckte den Berg.
16Und die Herrlichkeit Jehovahs wohnte auf dem Berge Sinai, und die Wolke bedeckte ihn sechs Tage; und Er rief zu Mose am siebenten mitten aus der Wolke.
17Und das Ansehen der Herrlichkeit Jehovahs war wie ein fressendes Feuer auf dem Gipfel des Berges vor den Augen der Söhne Israels.
18Und Mose ging mitten in die Wolke und stieg den Berg hinauf; und Mose war vierzig Tage und vierzig Nächte auf dem Berg.

1Y DIJO á Moisés: Sube á Jehová, tú, y Aarón, Nadab, y Abiú, y setenta de los ancianos de Israel; y os inclinaréis desde lejos.
2Mas Moisés sólo se llegará á Jehová; y ellos no se lleguen cerca, ni suba con él el pueblo.
3Y Moisés vino y contó al pueblo todas las palabras de Jehová, y todos los derechos: y todo el pueblo respondió á una voz, y dijeron: Ejecutaremos todas las palabras que Jehová ha dicho.
4Y Moisés escribió todas las palabras de Jehová, y levantándose de mañana edificó un altar al pie del monte, y doce columnas, según las doce tribus de Israel.
5Y envió á los mancebos de los hijos de Israel, los cuales ofrecieron holocaustos, y sacrificaron pacíficos á Jehová, becerros.
6Y Moisés tomó la mitad de la sangre, y púsola en tazones, y esparció la otra mitad de la sangre sobre el altar.
7Y tomó el libro de la alianza, y leyó á oídos del pueblo, el cual dijo: Haremos todas las cosas que Jehová ha dicho, y obedeceremos.
8Entonces Moisés tomó la sangre, y roció sobre el pueblo, y dijo: He aquí la sangre de la alianza que Jehová ha hecho con vosotros sobre todas estas cosas.
9Y subieron Moisés y Aarón, Nadab y Abiú, y setenta de los ancianos de Israel;
10Y vieron al Dios de Israel; y había debajo de sus pies como un embaldosado de zafiro, semejante al cielo cuando está sereno.
11Mas no extendió su mano sobre los príncipes de los hijos de Israel: y vieron á Dios, y comieron y bebieron.
12Entonces Jehová dijo á Moisés: Sube á mí al monte, y espera allá, y te daré tablas de piedra, y la ley, y mandamientos que he escrito para enseñarlos.
13Y levantóse Moisés, y Josué su ministro; y Moisés subió al monte de Dios.
14Y dijo á los ancianos: Esperadnos aquí hasta que volvamos á vosotros: y he aquí Aarón y Hur están con vosotros: el que tuviere negocios, lléguese á ellos.
15Entonces Moisés subió al monte, y una nube cubrió el monte.
16Y la gloria de Jehová reposó sobre el monte Sinaí, y la nube lo cubrió por seis días: y al séptimo día llamó á Moisés de en medio de la nube.
17Y el parecer de la gloria de Jehová era como un fuego abrasador en la cumbre del monte, á los ojos de los hijos de Israel.
18Y entró Moisés en medio de la nube, y subió al monte: y estuvo Moisés en el monte cuarenta días y cuarenta noches.

1And he said unto Moses, Come up unto the LORD, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship ye afar off.
2And Moses alone shall come near the LORD: but they shall not come nigh; neither shall the people go up with him.
3And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do.
4And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.
5And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the LORD.
6And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basons; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.
7And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient.
8And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.
9Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel:
10And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.
11And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink.
12And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.
13And Moses rose up, and his minister Joshua: and Moses went up into the mount of God.
14And he said unto the elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again unto you: and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you: if any man have any matters to do, let him come unto them.
15And Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount.
16And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.
17And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.
18And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and gat him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.
World English Bible
1He said to Moses, “Come up to the LORD, you, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship from a distance.
2Moses alone shall come near to the LORD, but they shall not come near. The people shall not go up with him.”
3Moses came and told the people all the LORD’s words, and all the ordinances; and all the people answered with one voice, and said, “All the words which the LORD has spoken will we do.”
4Moses wrote all the LORD’s words, then rose up early in the morning and built an altar at the base of the mountain, with twelve pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel.
5He sent young men of the children of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of cattle to the LORD.
6Moses took half of the blood and put it in basins, and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.
7He took the book of the covenant and read it in the hearing of the people, and they said, “We will do all that the LORD has said, and be obedient.”
8Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, “Look, this is the blood of the covenant, which the LORD has made with you concerning all these words.”
9Then Moses, Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel went up.
10They saw the God of Israel. Under his feet was like a paved work of sapphire stone, like the skies for clearness.
11He didn’t lay his hand on the nobles of the children of Israel. They saw God, and ate and drank.
12The LORD said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain, and stay here, and I will give you the stone tablets with the law and the commands that I have written, that you may teach them.”
13Moses rose up with Joshua, his servant, and Moses went up onto God’s Mountain.
14He said to the elders, “Wait here for us, until we come again to you. Behold, Aaron and Hur are with you. Whoever is involved in a dispute can go to them.”
15Moses went up on the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain.
16The LORD’s glory settled on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. The seventh day he called to Moses out of the middle of the cloud.
17The appearance of the LORD’s glory was like devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel.
18Moses entered into the middle of the cloud, and went up on the mountain; and Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.
