Si una persona se roba un buey o una oveja, y la mata o la vende, entonces él pagará cinco bueyes por un buey y cuatro ovejas por una oveja.
CUANDO alguno hurtare buey ú oveja, y le degollare ó vendiere, por aquel buey pagará cinco bueyes, y por aquella oveja cuatro ovejas.
If a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall restore five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep.

Si un ladrón es encontrado violentando una propiedad, y si es herido y muere, en ese caso ninguna culpa de asesinato será aplicada en el caso.
Si el ladrón fuere hallado forzando una casa, y fuere herido y muriere, el que le hirió no será culpado de su muerte.
If a thief be found breaking up, and be smitten that he die, there shall no blood be shed for him.
If the thief is found breaking in, and is struck so that he dies, there shall be no guilt of bloodshed for him.
Pero, si el sol ha salido antes de que él entre, será acusado de asesinato la persona que lo mate. Un ladrón tiene que reponer su daño. Si él no tiene nada, tiene que ser vendido por el valor de su robo.
Si el sol hubiere sobre él salido, el matador será reo de homicidio: el ladrón habrá de restituir cumplidamente; si no tuviere, será vendido por su hurto.
If the sun be risen upon him, there shall be blood shed for him; for he should make full restitution; if he have nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft.
If the sun has risen on him, he is guilty of bloodshed. He shall make restitution. If he has nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft.
Si el animal robado se encuentra vivo en su posesión, sea un buey, burro u oveja, él tiene que pagar el doble.
Si fuere hallado con el hurto en la mano, sea buey ó asno ú oveja vivos, pagará el duplo.
If the theft be certainly found in his hand alive, whether it be ox, or ass, or sheep; he shall restore double.
If the stolen property is found in his hand alive, whether it is ox, donkey, or sheep, he shall pay double.
Si un hombre pastorea su ganado en una campo o viñedo y deja a sus animales sueltos y comen en el campo de otro hombre, el dueño tiene que reparar el daño con lo mejor de su propio campo o con lo mejor de su viñedo.
Si alguno hiciere pacer campo ó viña, y metiere su bestia, y comiere la tierra de otro, de lo mejor de su tierra y de lo mejor de su viña pagará.
If a man shall cause a field or vineyard to be eaten, and shall put in his beast, and shall feed in another man’s field; of the best of his own field, and of the best of his own vineyard, shall he make restitution.
“If a man causes a field or vineyard to be eaten by letting his animal loose, and it grazes in another man’s field, he shall make restitution from the best of his own field, and from the best of his own vineyard.
Si se desata un fuego y se propaga por las espigas, el granero, los sembrados de grano nuevo o si se consume el campo, la persona que comenzó el fuego tiene que ciertamente reponer el daño.
Cuando rompiere un fuego, y hallare espinas, y fuere quemado montón, ó haza, ó campo, el que encendió el fuego pagará lo quemado.
If fire break out, and catch in thorns, so that the stacks of corn, or the standing corn, or the field, be consumed therewith; he that kindled the fire shall surely make restitution.
“If fire breaks out, and catches in thorns so that the shocks of grain, or the standing grain, or the field are consumed; he who kindled the fire shall surely make restitution.
Si un hombre le da dinero o bienes a su vecino para guardarlos y es robado de la casa de su vecino, si se encuentra al ladrón, éste tiene que pagar el doble.
Cuando alguno diere á su prójimo plata ó alhajas á guardar, y fuere hurtado de la casa de aquel hombre, si el ladrón se hallare, pagará el doble.
If a man shall deliver unto his neighbour money or stuff to keep, and it be stolen out of the man’s house; if the thief be found, let him pay double.
“If a man delivers to his neighbor money or stuff to keep, and it is stolen out of the man’s house, if the thief is found, he shall pay double.
Si no se encuentra al ladrón, entonces el dueño de la casa tiene que ir ante los jueces para determinar si él puso su mano en la propiedad de su vecino.
Si el ladrón no se hallare, entonces el dueño de la casa será presentado á los jueces, para ver si ha metido su mano en la hacienda de su prójimo.
If the thief be not found, then the master of the house shall be brought unto the judges, to see whether he have put his hand unto his neighbour’s goods.
If the thief isn’t found, then the master of the house shall come near to God, to find out whether or not he has put his hand on his neighbor’s goods.
Por cada controversia acerca de algo, sea un buey, un burro, oveja, ropa, o cualquier otra cosa perdida por la cual alguien diga: "Esto me pertenece a mí", la reclamación de ambas partes tiene que hacerse ante los jueces. La persona a quien los jueces encuentren culpable tiene que pagar el doble a su vecino.
Sobre todo negocio de fraude, sobre buey, sobre asno, sobre oveja, sobre vestido, sobre toda cosa perdida, cuando uno dijere: Esto es mío, la causa de ambos vendrá delante de los jueces; y el que los jueces condenaren, pagará el doble á su prójimo.
For all manner of trespass, whether it be for ox, for ass, for sheep, for raiment, or for any manner of lost thing, which another challengeth to be his, the cause of both parties shall come before the judges; and whom the judges shall condemn, he shall pay double unto his neighbour.

Si un hombre le da a su vecino un asno, un buey, una oveja o cualquier animal para cuidarlo y el mismo se muere o sufre daño o se lo roban sin que nadie lo vea,
Si alguno hubiere dado á su prójimo asno, ó buey, ú oveja, ó cualquier otro animal á guardar, y se muriere, ó se perniquebrare, ó fuere llevado sin verlo nadie;

ambas partes tienen que ofrecer un juramento al SEÑOR, de que ninguno de los dos ha puesto sus manos en la propiedad de su vecino. El dueño tiene que aceptar esto y el otro no tendrá que reparar el daño.
Juramento de Jehová tendrá lugar entre ambos de que no echó su mano á la hacienda de su prójimo: y su dueño lo aceptará, y el otro no pagará.
Then shall an oath of the LORD be between them both, that he hath not put his hand unto his neighbour’s goods; and the owner of it shall accept thereof, and he shall not make it good.

Pero si le fue robado, el otro tiene que repararle el daño al dueño.
Mas si le hubiere sido hurtado, resarcirá á su dueño.
And if it be stolen from him, he shall make restitution unto the owner thereof.

Si un animal es despedazado, permite que el otro hombre lo presente como evidencia. Él no tendrá que pagar por lo que fue despedazado.
Y si le hubiere sido arrebatado por fiera, traerle ha testimonio, y no pagará lo arrebatado.
If it be torn in pieces, then let him bring it for witness, and he shall not make good that which was torn.
If it is torn in pieces, let him bring it for evidence. He shall not make good that which was torn.
Si una persona toma prestado cualquier animal de su vecino y el animal se lesiona o se muere sin que el dueño esté presente, el otro hombre tiene que ciertamente reponer el daño.
Pero si alguno hubiere tomado prestada bestia de su prójimo, y fuere estropeada ó muerta, ausente su dueño, deberá pagarla.
And if a man borrow ought of his neighbour, and it be hurt, or die, the owner thereof being not with it, he shall surely make it good.
“If a man borrows anything of his neighbor’s, and it is injured, or dies, its owner not being with it, he shall surely make restitution.
Pero si el dueño estaba presente, el otro hombre no tendrá que pagar; si el animal fue alquilado, será pagado el monto del alquiler.
Si el dueño estaba presente, no la pagará. Si era alquilada, él vendrá por su alquiler.
But if the owner thereof be with it, he shall not make it good: if it be an hired thing, it came for his hire.
If its owner is with it, he shall not make it good. If it is a leased thing, it came for its lease.
Si un hombre seduce una mujer virgen que no está comprometida, y duerme con ella, él ciertamente tiene que hacerla su esposa pagando el precio de casamiento establecido.
Y si alguno engañare á alguna doncella que no fuere desposada, y durmiere con ella, deberá dotarla y tomarla por mujer.
And if a man entice a maid that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely endow her to be his wife.
“If a man entices a virgin who isn’t pledged to be married, and lies with her, he shall surely pay a dowry for her to be his wife.
Si el padre de ella se niega a dársela a él, el hombre tiene que pagar una suma de dinero igual al precio de la virginidad de la novia.
Si su padre no quisiere dársela, él le pesará plata conforme al dote de las vírgenes.
If her father utterly refuse to give her unto him, he shall pay money according to the dowry of virgins.

“You shall not allow a sorceress to live.
Quien sea que duerma con una bestia ciertamente tiene que morir.
Cualquiera que tuviere ayuntamiento con bestia, morirá.
Whosoever lieth with a beast shall surely be put to death.
“Whoever has sex with an animal shall surely be put to death.
Cualquiera que ofrezca sacrificio a otro dios que no sea al SEÑOR tiene que ser completamente destruido.
El que sacrificare á dioses, excepto á sólo Jehová, será muerto.
He that sacrificeth unto any god, save unto the LORD only, he shall be utterly destroyed.
“He who sacrifices to any god, except to the LORD only, shall be utterly destroyed.
No puedes maltratar a un extranjero ni oprimirlo, pues tú fuiste extranjero en la tierra de Egipto.
Y al extranjero no engañarás, ni angustiarás, porque extranjeros fuisteis vosotros en la tierra de Egipto.
Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
“You shall not wrong an alien or oppress him, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt.
No puedes maltratar a ninguna viuda o huérfano.
A ninguna viuda ni huérfano afligiréis.
Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child.
“You shall not take advantage of any widow or fatherless child.
Si los afliges y si ellos me claman a Mí, El SEÑOR, Yo de seguro oiré su clamor.
Que si tú llegas á afligirle, y él á mí clamare, ciertamente oiré yo su clamor;
If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry;
If you take advantage of them at all, and they cry at all to me, I will surely hear their cry;
Mi ira se encenderá y los mataré a ustedes con la espada; sus esposas se convertirán en viudas y sus hijos en huérfanos.
Y mi furor se encenderá, y os mataré á cuchillo, y vuestras mujeres serán viudas, y huérfanos vuestros hijos.
And my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.
and my wrath will grow hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.
Si le prestas dinero a cualquiera de mi pueblo que sea pobre, no puedes ser como un prestamista con él o cobrarle interéses.
Si dieres á mi pueblo dinero emprestado, al pobre que está contigo, no te portarás con él como logrero, ni le impondrás usura.
If thou lend money to any of my people that is poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury.
“If you lend money to any of my people with you who is poor, you shall not be to him as a creditor. You shall not charge him interest.
Si tú tomas prestado una manta, tienes que devolvésela antes de la puesta del sol,
Si tomares en prenda el vestido de tu prójimo, á puestas del sol se lo volverás:
If thou at all take thy neighbour’s raiment to pledge, thou shalt deliver it unto him by that the sun goeth down:
If you take your neighbor’s garment as collateral, you shall restore it to him before the sun goes down,
porque ésa es su única pieza para cubrirse; es su vestimenta para su cuerpo. ¿Qué otra cosa usará para dormir? Cuando él me llame a Mí, Yo lo oiré, porqueYo soy compasivo.
Porque sólo aquello es su cubierta, es aquél el vestido para cubrir sus carnes, en el que ha de dormir: y será que cuando él á mí clamare, yo entonces le oiré, porque soy misericordioso.
For that is his covering only, it is his raiment for his skin: wherein shall he sleep? and it shall come to pass, when he crieth unto me, that I will hear; for I am gracious.
for that is his only covering, it is his garment for his skin. What would he sleep in? It will happen, when he cries to me, that I will hear, for I am gracious.
No puedes blasfemarme a Mí, Dios, ni maldecir al gobernante de tu pueblo.
No denostarás á los jueces, ni maldecirás al príncipe de tu pueblo.
Thou shalt not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of thy people.
“You shall not blaspheme God, nor curse a ruler of your people.
No puedes retener las ofrendas de tus cosechas o de tus lagares. Tienes que darme a Mí el primero de tus hijos.
No dilatarás la primicia de tu cosecha, ni de tu licor: me darás el primogénito de tus hijos.
Thou shalt not delay to offer the first of thy ripe fruits, and of thy liquors: the firstborn of thy sons shalt thou give unto me.
“You shall not delay to offer from your harvest and from the outflow of your presses. “You shall give the firstborn of your sons to me.
También tienes que hacer lo mismo con tus bueyes y ovejas. Por siete días se quedarán con sus madres, pero al octavo día tienes que dármelos a Mí.
Así harás con el de tu buey y de tu oveja: siete días estará con su madre, y al octavo día me lo darás.
Likewise shalt thou do with thine oxen, and with thy sheep: seven days it shall be with his dam; on the eighth day thou shalt give it me.
You shall do likewise with your cattle and with your sheep. It shall be with its mother seven days, then on the eighth day you shall give it to me.
Ustedes serán el pueblo separado para Mí. Así que no pueden comer carne que fue despedazada por los animales en el campo. En cambio, tienen que echarlo a los perros.
Y habéis de serme varones santos: y no comeréis carne arrebatada de las fieras en el campo; á los perros la echaréis.
And ye shall be holy men unto me: neither shall ye eat any flesh that is torn of beasts in the field; ye shall cast it to the dogs.
“You shall be holy men to me, therefore you shall not eat any meat that is torn by animals in the field. You shall cast it to the dogs.
