CUANDO alguno hurtare buey ú oveja, y le degollare ó vendiere, por aquel buey pagará cinco bueyes, y por aquella oveja cuatro ovejas.
If a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall restore five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep.

Que si le larron est trouvé en fracture, et est frappé de sorte qu’il en meure, celui qui l’aura frappé ne sera point coupable de meurtre.
Si el ladrón fuere hallado forzando una casa, y fuere herido y muriere, el que le hirió no será culpado de su muerte.
If a thief be found breaking up, and be smitten that he die, there shall no blood be shed for him.
If the thief is found breaking in, and is struck so that he dies, there shall be no guilt of bloodshed for him.
Mais si le soleil est levé sur lui, il sera coupable de meurtre. Il fera donc une entière restitution ; et s’il n’a de quoi, il sera vendu pour son larcin.
Si el sol hubiere sobre él salido, el matador será reo de homicidio: el ladrón habrá de restituir cumplidamente; si no tuviere, será vendido por su hurto.
If the sun be risen upon him, there shall be blood shed for him; for he should make full restitution; if he have nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft.
If the sun has risen on him, he is guilty of bloodshed. He shall make restitution. If he has nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft.
Si ce qui a été dérobé est trouvé vivant entre ses mains, soit boeuf, soit âne, soit brebis ou chèvre, il rendra le double.
Si fuere hallado con el hurto en la mano, sea buey ó asno ú oveja vivos, pagará el duplo.
If the theft be certainly found in his hand alive, whether it be ox, or ass, or sheep; he shall restore double.

Si alguno hiciere pacer campo ó viña, y metiere su bestia, y comiere la tierra de otro, de lo mejor de su tierra y de lo mejor de su viña pagará.
If a man shall cause a field or vineyard to be eaten, and shall put in his beast, and shall feed in another man’s field; of the best of his own field, and of the best of his own vineyard, shall he make restitution.
“If a man causes a field or vineyard to be eaten by letting his animal loose, and it grazes in another man’s field, he shall make restitution from the best of his own field, and from the best of his own vineyard.
Si le feu sort, et trouve des épines, et que le blé qui est en tas, ou sur pied, ou le champ, soit consumé, celui qui aura allumé le feu rendra entièrement ce qui en aura été brûlé.
Cuando rompiere un fuego, y hallare espinas, y fuere quemado montón, ó haza, ó campo, el que encendió el fuego pagará lo quemado.
If fire break out, and catch in thorns, so that the stacks of corn, or the standing corn, or the field, be consumed therewith; he that kindled the fire shall surely make restitution.
“If fire breaks out, and catches in thorns so that the shocks of grain, or the standing grain, or the field are consumed; he who kindled the fire shall surely make restitution.
Si quelqu’un donne à son prochain de l’argent ou des vases à garder, et qu’on le dérobe de sa maison, si l’on trouve le larron, il rendra le double.
Cuando alguno diere á su prójimo plata ó alhajas á guardar, y fuere hurtado de la casa de aquel hombre, si el ladrón se hallare, pagará el doble.
If a man shall deliver unto his neighbour money or stuff to keep, and it be stolen out of the man’s house; if the thief be found, let him pay double.
“If a man delivers to his neighbor money or stuff to keep, and it is stolen out of the man’s house, if the thief is found, he shall pay double.
Mais si le larron ne se trouve point, on fera venir le maître de la maison devant les Juges pour jurer s’il n’a point mis sa main sur le bien de son prochain.
Si el ladrón no se hallare, entonces el dueño de la casa será presentado á los jueces, para ver si ha metido su mano en la hacienda de su prójimo.
If the thief be not found, then the master of the house shall be brought unto the judges, to see whether he have put his hand unto his neighbour’s goods.
If the thief isn’t found, then the master of the house shall come near to God, to find out whether or not he has put his hand on his neighbor’s goods.
Quand il sera question de quelque chose où il y ait prévarication, touchant un boeuf, ou un âne, ou une brebis, ou une chèvre, ou un vêtement, même touchant toute chose perdue, dont quelqu’un dira qu’elle lui appartient, la cause des deux parties viendra devant les Juges ; et celui que les Juges auront condamné, rendra le double à son prochain.
Sobre todo negocio de fraude, sobre buey, sobre asno, sobre oveja, sobre vestido, sobre toda cosa perdida, cuando uno dijere: Esto es mío, la causa de ambos vendrá delante de los jueces; y el que los jueces condenaren, pagará el doble á su prójimo.
For all manner of trespass, whether it be for ox, for ass, for sheep, for raiment, or for any manner of lost thing, which another challengeth to be his, the cause of both parties shall come before the judges; and whom the judges shall condemn, he shall pay double unto his neighbour.

Si quelqu’un donne à garder à son prochain un âne, un boeuf, quelque menue ou grosse bête, et qu’elle meure, ou qu’elle se soit cassé quelque membre, ou qu’on l’ait emmenée sans que personne l’ait vu,
Si alguno hubiere dado á su prójimo asno, ó buey, ú oveja, ó cualquier otro animal á guardar, y se muriere, ó se perniquebrare, ó fuere llevado sin verlo nadie;
If a man deliver unto his neighbour an ass, or an ox, or a sheep, or any beast, to keep; and it die, or be hurt, or driven away, no man seeing it:
“If a man delivers to his neighbor a donkey, an ox, a sheep, or any animal to keep, and it dies or is injured, or driven away, no man seeing it;
Le jurement de l’Eternel interviendra entre les deux parties, pour savoir s’il n’a point mis sa main sur le bien de son prochain, et le maître de la bête se contentera du serment, et l’autre ne la rendra point.
Juramento de Jehová tendrá lugar entre ambos de que no echó su mano á la hacienda de su prójimo: y su dueño lo aceptará, y el otro no pagará.
Then shall an oath of the LORD be between them both, that he hath not put his hand unto his neighbour’s goods; and the owner of it shall accept thereof, and he shall not make it good.

Si quelqu’un a emprunté de son prochain quelque bête, et qu’elle se casse quelque membre, ou qu’elle meure, son maître n’y étant point présent, il ne manquera pas de la rendre.
Pero si alguno hubiere tomado prestada bestia de su prójimo, y fuere estropeada ó muerta, ausente su dueño, deberá pagarla.
And if a man borrow ought of his neighbour, and it be hurt, or die, the owner thereof being not with it, he shall surely make it good.
“If a man borrows anything of his neighbor’s, and it is injured, or dies, its owner not being with it, he shall surely make restitution.
Mais si son maître est avec lui, il ne la rendra point ; si elle a été louée, on payera seulement son louage.
Si el dueño estaba presente, no la pagará. Si era alquilada, él vendrá por su alquiler.
But if the owner thereof be with it, he shall not make it good: if it be an hired thing, it came for his hire.
If its owner is with it, he shall not make it good. If it is a leased thing, it came for its lease.
Si quelqu’un suborne une vierge non fiancée, et couche avec elle, il faut qu’il la dote, la prenant pour femme.
Y si alguno engañare á alguna doncella que no fuere desposada, y durmiere con ella, deberá dotarla y tomarla por mujer.
And if a man entice a maid that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely endow her to be his wife.
“If a man entices a virgin who isn’t pledged to be married, and lies with her, he shall surely pay a dowry for her to be his wife.
Mais si le père de la fille refuse absolument de la lui donner, il lui comptera autant d’argent qu’on en donne pour la dot des vierges.
Si su padre no quisiere dársela, él le pesará plata conforme al dote de las vírgenes.
If her father utterly refuse to give her unto him, he shall pay money according to the dowry of virgins.

Celui qui aura eu la compagnie d’une bête, sera puni de mort.
Cualquiera que tuviere ayuntamiento con bestia, morirá.
Whosoever lieth with a beast shall surely be put to death.
“Whoever has sex with an animal shall surely be put to death.
Celui qui sacrifie à d’autres Dieux, qu’à l’Eternel seul, sera détruit à la façon de l’interdit.
El que sacrificare á dioses, excepto á sólo Jehová, será muerto.
He that sacrificeth unto any god, save unto the LORD only, he shall be utterly destroyed.
“He who sacrifices to any god, except to the LORD only, shall be utterly destroyed.
Tu ne fouleras ni n’opprimeras point l’étranger ; car vous avez été étrangers au pays d’Egypte.
Y al extranjero no engañarás, ni angustiarás, porque extranjeros fuisteis vosotros en la tierra de Egipto.
Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
“You shall not wrong an alien or oppress him, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt.
Vous n’affligerez point la veuve ni l’orphelin.
A ninguna viuda ni huérfano afligiréis.
Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child.
“You shall not take advantage of any widow or fatherless child.
Si vous les affligez en quoi que ce soit, et qu’ils crient à moi, certainement j’entendrai leur cri.
Que si tú llegas á afligirle, y él á mí clamare, ciertamente oiré yo su clamor;
If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry;
If you take advantage of them at all, and they cry at all to me, I will surely hear their cry;
Et ma colère s’embrasera, et je vous ferai mourir par l’épée, et vos femmes seront veuves, et vos enfants orphelins.
Y mi furor se encenderá, y os mataré á cuchillo, y vuestras mujeres serán viudas, y huérfanos vuestros hijos.
And my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.

Si tu prêtes de l’argent à mon peuple, au pauvre qui est avec toi, tu ne te comporteras point avec lui en usurier ; vous ne mettrez point sur lui d’usure.
Si dieres á mi pueblo dinero emprestado, al pobre que está contigo, no te portarás con él como logrero, ni le impondrás usura.
If thou lend money to any of my people that is poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury.
“If you lend money to any of my people with you who is poor, you shall not be to him as a creditor. You shall not charge him interest.
Si tu prends en gage le vêtement de ton prochain, tu le lui rendras avant que le soleil soit couché.
Si tomares en prenda el vestido de tu prójimo, á puestas del sol se lo volverás:
If thou at all take thy neighbour’s raiment to pledge, thou shalt deliver it unto him by that the sun goeth down:
If you take your neighbor’s garment as collateral, you shall restore it to him before the sun goes down,
Car c’est sa seule couverture, c’est son vêtement pour couvrir sa peau ; où coucherait-il ? S’il arrive donc qu’il crie à moi, je l’entendrai ; car je suis miséricordieux.
Porque sólo aquello es su cubierta, es aquél el vestido para cubrir sus carnes, en el que ha de dormir: y será que cuando él á mí clamare, yo entonces le oiré, porque soy misericordioso.
For that is his covering only, it is his raiment for his skin: wherein shall he sleep? and it shall come to pass, when he crieth unto me, that I will hear; for I am gracious.
for that is his only covering, it is his garment for his skin. What would he sleep in? It will happen, when he cries to me, that I will hear, for I am gracious.
Tu ne médiras point des Juges, et tu ne maudiras point le Prince de ton peuple.
No denostarás á los jueces, ni maldecirás al príncipe de tu pueblo.
Thou shalt not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of thy people.
“You shall not blaspheme God, nor curse a ruler of your people.
Tu ne différeras point à m’offrir de ton abondance, et de tes liqueurs ; tu me donneras le premier-né de tes fils.
No dilatarás la primicia de tu cosecha, ni de tu licor: me darás el primogénito de tus hijos.
Thou shalt not delay to offer the first of thy ripe fruits, and of thy liquors: the firstborn of thy sons shalt thou give unto me.
“You shall not delay to offer from your harvest and from the outflow of your presses. “You shall give the firstborn of your sons to me.
Tu feras la même chose de ta vache, de ta brebis, et de ta chèvre. Il sera sept jours avec sa mère, et le huitième jour tu me le donneras.
Así harás con el de tu buey y de tu oveja: siete días estará con su madre, y al octavo día me lo darás.
Likewise shalt thou do with thine oxen, and with thy sheep: seven days it shall be with his dam; on the eighth day thou shalt give it me.
