Éxodo 22

"Si un homme fourrage un champ ou un vignoble en faisant pâturer son bétail sur les terres d'autrui, il paiera le dégât du meilleur de son champ ou de sa vigne.

Si fuere hallado con el hurto en la mano, sea buey ó asno ú oveja vivos, pagará el duplo.

If the theft be certainly found in his hand alive, whether it be ox, or ass, or sheep; he shall restore double.

If the stolen property is found in his hand alive, whether it is ox, donkey, or sheep, he shall pay double.
