Éxodo 22

Si es sorprendido robando un buey, un burro, una oveja o cualquier otra cosa, pagará el doble de su valor como multa.

Si fuere hallado con el hurto en la mano, sea buey ó asno ú oveja vivos, pagará el duplo.

If the theft be certainly found in his hand alive, whether it be ox, or ass, or sheep; he shall restore double.

If the stolen property is found in his hand alive, whether it is ox, donkey, or sheep, he shall pay double.
